Pool is a tad intimate and couldn’t get a lounge but was still nice for a quick dip. Pillows were so bad.

The door on bedroom one was very hard to open once closed. A sign saying ‘Mind your Head’ on the low stair case is definitely necessary for guests.

We had hours of fun in the main pool with our son and grandson. The apartment was a good size and well equipped, if a little tired and worn in parts. Reflected in price for the room, so not a problem. Comfy bed, decent air conditioning. Underground parking handy when driving back in afternoon showers. The managers and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Disturbed sleep from people above moving furniture around at all hours of the night. Would only stay on top floor next time.

• Tatsiana (3/5): Apartment 2 needs a serious pest control - The location was top, close to the beach and water park. Apartment 2 behind the reception, where we were staying, was seriously infested with cockroaches. And yes, we are aware of cockroach problems in warm and humid climate conditions, but it was far more than that. Never ever before did we experience cockroaches that big (around 10cm) in the main bedroom, in the kitchen, in the pantry, in the verandah… Kids were scared to enter bathroom at night because the cockroaches were running under their feet… We even found a cockroach in the kids‘ cereal… We previously stayed with Seascape Holidays in Port Douglas and did not have any problems..

Dejligt med god plads i lejligheden, og et godt udstyret køkken, samt mulighed for at vaske tøj. Skønt med pool. Det svarede ikke til 4 stjernet lejlighedshotel. Det er meget slidt, mangelfuld rengøring, slidte og plettet badehåndklæder. Det ville være dejligt med køkkenknive der kunne skærer. Poolen blev ikke rengjort og der var blade og insekter i.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming & the apartment was spacious, really well appointed and in a lovely quiet location. It felt very private and the owners had thought of every detail. The bed was very comfortable and afforded us the best sleeps of our trip. We were able to walk easily from the site to the town, beaches and marina. • Ian (9/5): We had a great weak in Port Douglass and the accommodation was part of it. - Lack of salt and Pepper. Some minor repairs were needed
• Anthony (10/5): - Perfectly situated at the top of Macrossan Street; 3 minute walk to 4 mile beach and surf club ($7 pints and good food). Short cut through the back of the town to the Marina and the reef for snorkelling, scuba and fishing. Great food, pubs and shopping along Macrossan street and even if there’s a drop of rain most of the walk back is under cover of the shop fronts. Perfect getaway!!

Doors are warped on most rooms and bathrooms. Spa was broken. Place needs some serious tlc. Very basic.
• WENDY (5/5): Overpriced for the property - The location was great - easy walking distance to the main street and perfect location to the beach. The kitchen was nice. The living area was nice. The bathrooms are in desperate need of a renovation. For the money we paid the bathrooms were not acceptable. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The swimming pool areas are not inviting at all.

• Lorraine (10/5): Spacious, well-equipped apartment and great pools - We loved our stay in the spacious apartment. The beds were comfortable, the verandah was great, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It was quite hot the week we stayed, and the fans and air-conditioning in each room were much appreciated. It was a very short walk to the beach, to everything in Macrossan Street - but without the noise of being in the main part of town. The best part was the great pools. The main pool was heated and lovely to swim in and well landscaped and a pleasure to sit at. At the rear of the property is a larger pool and lots of seating in the BBQ area.. We have booked again for a longer stay for next year!!

• Wayne (3/5): Cheap but not so cheerful. Stay away from apartment 2 - Good location, easy parking And free beach towels Unit number two was dank dark mouldy and generally in extreme disrepair. It helps to hold your breath when opening up any of the cupboards. I do appreciate the acoustic engineering that must have gone into the design of this establishment. Every step and every child’s scream seemed like it was right next to you on your pillow at 7 am. The TV was broken and had to be replaced. Remote controls were rusted all the way through the plastic and non-functioning. There was almost no natural light in the lounge and kitchen area. It might seem I’m going on and on but it was bad. The last time I stayed in a place this poorly kept I was a backpacker. Even more frustratingly most residents would leave their doors a jar for easy access. It seemed that unit two was definitely worst kept that we saw. The staff for always polite and present. The pool area was leafy and calming. The position in Port Douglas is fantastic only one street back from 4 Mile Beach.

Easy check in and check out after hours. Apartment was on the ground floor so it was very dark, even the outdoor patio area was dark. Perhaps the upstairs apartments had better light. Master bedroom ensuite was extremely small, and very impractical. The whole apartment felt dated. The front pools looked lovely but the sun bathing area was in the shade most of the day.

• Joyce (3/5): Nice location, not nice apartment. - Location was good, easy walk to beach and town centre I booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment got a 1 bathroom. We checked in late around 20.30 so nobody at reception at the time to query. One of the bedroom windows was louvre only, no window to close, on a main busy street and a building site was 50 meters away that started up at 6 am every morning. If known with booking there was a building site I would not have booked this apartment. We should have been informed. The main deck pool was non functioning and absolutely dirty with algie on the bottom and no filtration at all. No for human use. 3 times we tried the to BBQ and 3 times it didnt work. All the burners broken and about 3 years after its use by date. There were electricity blackouts twice during our stay, no battery operated torches in the apartment for use. The kitchen unit was upgraded not long ago, but the 1 bathroom was dirty and old style, not as shown on the photo's on the booking site for this apartment. We had a nice stay in port douglas and will be back but not booking this place again.

• Christie (8/5): A good apartment, especially if needing minimal steps and a walk in shower for accessibility. Excellent location close t - We required an apartment for older relatives who needed good accessibility. This ground floor 2-bed, basic apartment had good amenities. 3 x Lovely pools, good BBQ area. The twin room was made up as a double, whereas we needed the separate beds. Some way to clarify this / nominate bed configurations in the booking prior would be more than useful. Survived with it one night, and then Reception staff were really helpful and quick to sort the next day.
• Greg (6/5): Great location, Port Douglas is the perfect place to stay to explore Far North Queensland. - The location is terrific, very close to the beach, short easy walk into town, if you stay here you don't really need a car to get anywhere close by The place could have been cleaner, the shower needs updating or at the very least a good clean, the ceiling fans also need a good clean as does the red seat in the living area, it actually has mould on the back rest. Probably also need new cutlery.

Bathrooms need upgrading, cupboards doors all coming apart looks like water damage, vanity being held up by pvc pipe, tiles need grout cleaned and freshened up, lounges very hard feels like you are sitting straight on the bamboo base, some fans only have one speed. Sliding door to balcony wouldn’t lock.
• Ruth (6/5): Read the fine print - Spacious No lift had to climb 34 steps to apartment, a bit tired looking and not as clean as it should have been. A bit perplexed when I told them there was not a need to service the room after a week as we were moving out in another 2 days but requested a couple of rolls of toilet paper and was told had to buy my own, did that mean when the room was serviced they didn’t replace the toilet paper !!!!

Very nice room with comfortable bed and good bathroom on a quiet street. Treveen and Simon are really helpful with tours and recommendations and very friendly. Very good value for money and I would highly recommend Not a problem for me, but there are a few steps, which may be an issue for people with mobility issues

• Shammi (7/5): Nice place for family, close to beach and shopping area! - Great location, staff was very friendly! Renovation happened during our stay, bit noisy and dusty!
• Shane (8/5): Great location in beautiful Port Douglas - Great location close to the beach and main street with the shops,cafes and bars. Could have a more comy lounge.

• Beata (9/5): A really great place to relax. - The location is perfect, so close to the beach and main street of Port Douglas. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were allowed to stay in our room and use the pool a few hours longer as our bus was not until 1pm. Nothing at all.
• Heather (8/5): Good location and value for money. - Proximity to beach. Pool was nice. Furnishings a bit dated and musty.
• Giuliano (8/5): Very good - The location is excellent - very close to the patrolled beach as well as the main strip. You can walk to most places. The staff were all great, but especially Simon. I'd misplaced something, and Simon made a great and successful effort to find it. The apartment was clean, but some parts could do with renovation. The bathroom and kitchen in particular. The plates didn't fit in the dishwasher - a small, annoying detail.
• Caroline (7/5): Great location. - Pool, location, size of apartment. Bathrooms were shabby, tired and need a re-fit. Kitchen was the same, and needed a proper clean.
• Phillip (8/5): This accomodation is a very clean staff were very good and helpful and the location is great . - Breakfast is not provided at this accomodation.But you are within a short walk of places to go and have a breakfast,And you are able to cook in the kitchen if you choose to do so I did not. The lounge furnishings were unbelievably uncomfortable in the suite we had and this is a concern for the outlay and costs.I would choose this place to stay and have booked for next year just not this suite because of the furniture.I have to say my back is still trying to recover.
