• Pooja (9/5): - Spent a night at Shanti Sojourn and it truly lives up to the name. The place is calm, clean, and has a very homely feel. Rooms were cozy with all basic amenities, and the host was courteous and quick to help. Loved the peaceful surroundings — perfect for a quick recharge. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and tasty. Only thing I’d add is maybe a few more food options for breakfast, but overall a lovely experience. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, no-fuss stay. I’d definitely come back for a longer trip. The geyser has very ltd amount of hot water which one would want more in shillong's cold weather.😊

The host took a lot of time to explore the natural surroundings with me, we had many good conversations and he has helped me with my ongoing travel plans. The location was great - right next to a forest and close to Shillong Peak Viewpoint. The room and the roof terrace have a great view over the city. Nothing - I would definitely come back here.

• Ming (9/5): Peaceful, comfortable, in Shillong town but quiet and close to main attractions - Review I had a very peaceful and pleasant stay here at this guesthouse on the upper edge of Shillong town, still close enough via car to main sites and amenities but much more quiet - and with nice panoramic views from its rooftop terrace. The double room was cosy yet airy, neat, clean linen and towels, with a kettle, cups and tea, and views out over Shillong. The spacious bathroom was particularly appreciated with its well functioning hot water system. Wifi and a simple but nice breakfast were included in the reasonable price. Edwin the manager was helpful and friendly, as well as being prompt and professional in his WhatsApp communications with me. I would have liked to have stayed longer but had a tight schedule. Nothing to dislike
