• Stefan (7/5): En trevlig lägenhet med ett fantastiskt bra läge, som tyvärr dras ned av att det var väldigt kallt framförallt i badrumm - Läget är fantastiskt bra, med stora ytor i lägenheten. Tyvärr väldigt kallt i lägenheten och framför allt i badrummet. Köksredskapen och porslinet i kombination med lite diskmaskin tabletter kunde varit bättre.

Понравилось наличие помещения для снаряжения с сушкой для обуви. Мы заселились на три ночи, заплатили 1500 евро, номер не большой, у меня был день рождения, ожидали комплимента от персонала, ничего такого не было.

• Joanne (5/5): Go in the winter -it will be very atmospheric. - It was in the centre of the town. Pretty rustic is the kindest thing I could say. Clearly off season which is fair but the price probably needs to reflect this more. It hurts when you see the same room advertised for £100 less on the day you leave. Didn’t like being asked to pay again for the room when the money had already been taken by the property two weeks earlier.
• Krystyna (10/5): Excellent place for hikes. Bare in mind, starting point for hikes is 2000 m above sea level - Size of the apartament. Fully fitted kitchen( no microwave though) huge bathroom with bath and shower. Very close to Main Street with good choice of restaurants Water pressure in shower. Practically impossible to have a shower while other person is using washbasin or filling the bath.

The spa was amazing and location could not be faulted The only drawback was the bed was a little hard and uncomfortable and they did not inform that the restuarant was closed Monday and Tuesday evening

The service was exceptional throughout our entire stay— we want to express a extra thank you to Deborah who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel also had a fantastic breakfast, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We were always impressed by the freshness and quality of the food, and it was the perfect way to start our day. Overall, we couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

• Thijs (7/5): Good hotel at good location with some great features but also some let downs. - Nice Spa Good location walking distance from ski lifts Comfortable room Staff was very friendly - especially Renato at the front desk. Lobby super stale. Furniture from your grandparents. Not attractive to spend time after skiing / before dinner. This would be a reason for us to not book again. Breakfast quite basic for a four star property. Dry cakes. No salads. Anything except basic eggs (eg tomatoes in your omelette) costs extra.

Our one bed apartment was very spacious, super comfortable beds and great location, near to ski lift, ski hire and multiple restaurants. A toaster and microwave would have been helpful.
• Sarah (9/5): We enjoyed a fantastic stay in apartment Rhododendron! The location is perfect - such a short walk to thr ski lift! - A spacious 2 bedroom apartment with double bedroom and twin room (no bunk beds!) Nice to have a sofa as well as a dining table & chairs. Loved the fluffy robes & toiletries provided - a nice touch. There was a lockable porch area where we stored our suitcases. You could leave your ski equipment here (we left ours at the ski hire shop) - don’t know if all apartments have this layout. Staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful & friendly - thank you to Sabrina & Renato! We enquired at reception about a restaurant & they kindly phoned them for us & made a reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted with a welcome drink of Prosecco for ‘our friends from the Bucaneve’! Me & my daughter enjoyed the hotel spa & massage. A little gloomy - lighting could have been better. Shower is small and it’s easy to knock the lever & change the temperature by accident.
• Sarah (9/5): Well run small comfortable family hotel in a great location for skiing and central Cervinia. - Great location just off the high street and a very short walk to the main chair lift. Deluxe rooms were spacious and comfortable with powerful spacious showers, comfy beds and good linens. Housekeeping excellent and most staff very friendly. Sweet bar area and charming breakfast room. Breakfast was ok. a A wide variety available but the ‘hot’ savoury food in the buffet was always cold, as was the coffee. Freshly cooked eggs and bacon available but if you wanted anything other than bacon, such as mushrooms, they applied an additional charge of 8 euro which seems a little petty! One of our ‘superior’ rooms was dark, basic and pokey but we were happy with our other rooms. The reception area is a little underwhelming when you arrive but the rest of communal areas are very nice.

Opposite ski hire shop (mention Bucaneve for discount). Very comfortable beds and good sized bedrooms (big hanging wardrobes in twin room). Helpful friendly staff (especially lovely cleaner who speedily but effectively finished cleaning room so we could get in early!). Robes and flip flips in rooms a nice touch. Generally a great apartment. One bathroom with very small shower. Lighting low everywhere. Small points but kitchen a bit sparsely appointed (only small coffee cups, no larger mugs, no microwave, toaster or coffee machine). Would have liked to use gym/ spa but not at c€35 pp per hour which at the cost of a week we felt should be included. Small lounge with no sofa - uncomfortable to spend time in. Master bedroom had small wardrobe and no mirror. Lacked drawers for storage (and at front of building was noisier than twin room).

• Flavia (10/5): Aosta Valley experience - The breakfast was excellent, with products typical of the area, of very good quality. The room was very clean, and the bed linens were perfect. The hotel itself is very pleasant, furnished in classic mountain style. The spa area is very well arranged and equipped with everything you need for a true wellness experience.

Spa was good for after a day on the slopes although I tended to use the jacuzzi bath in my room for convenience. All the hotel staff were professional and helpful from front of house, bar, breakfast and cleaners. Nothing really, the price was a little on the high side but the offering is very good and I can understand that it's an expensive place to operate a hotel at this standard. The spa receptionist was not at her best on the first (and only) day I visited, clearly having one of those off days which we all can have, a bit flustered and a little rude.

• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - We booked a few days in Cervinia mid December to take advantage of the excellent skiing, due to lots of snow. We spent four nights at the Hotel Bucaneve on a bed and breakfast basis. Unfortunately, on arrival to Italy the airline lost our luggage, which was not returned to us until the night before we were due to fly home. Thankfully, the staff at Hotel Bucaneve could not have been kinder to us and more helpful, particularly Sabrina and Renato. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and we had a lovely view looking up at the ski slopes. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and very good coffee first thing in the morning. We used the spa every day of our stay, which was really relaxing with a good sized pool and jacuzzi. There were also different showers, as well as a couple of saunas and a big steam room. There were lots of loungers to relax on and read a book and the waterbed was so comfortable you had to be careful not to fall asleep on it. We didn’t eat at the hotel, as we tried the many good restaurants in town, which the hotel was only a few minutes walk away from. We did enjoy a drink every evening in the very cosy bar, with its lovely fire and comfortable armchairs. The bar was never busy and when we came back to the hotel after an evening out, Renato was always there to get us a drink (he makes the best Aperol Spritz in town!). Despite our lost luggage we did manage to get out to do some skiing, the hotel has a spacious boot room and is a very convenient few minutes walk away to the nearest chairlift. Despite not having the best start to our holiday, we really enjoyed our stay in Cervinia thanks to the Hotel Bucaneve and its staff. We will definitely return to Cervinia to stay again at the Hotel Bucaneve, just hopefully with more clothes this time.
