• Ian (7/5): A little out of town, however place was lovely and off street parking a bonus. - Large apartment, clean, good kitchen and bathroom. No shower or wash products in the bathroom. Old food left in fridge from previous visitors.

The heavy footfalls are loud enough to wake us early in the morning, suggesting that the sound insulation between apartments requires improvement.

• David (10/5): - Beautiful! There is plenty of space. Modern & not too far away from the town centre(20/25mins walk) or bus close by.Would definitely stay again. Could hear person/persons above walking about, which was quite loud.

• Glendolyn (9/5): Lovely flat for short stay - Location was perfect & the flat was very clean, nice fittings, shower was excellent, good heating too which we needed as we chose the 1st snowy day to visit. Just little things easy to put right, the toilet seat didn’t fit so wobbled when sat on (don’t laugh) it was a square shaped toilet & they had fitted a round seat, the TV was much to high on the wall we got neck ache, no trays for the oven & potato masher missing.

• Kerry Roffe (7/5): good for a quick visit into York - although the local area is a bit of a walk into the City Centre - fairly central and free parking on site. Good kitchen facilities and a comfy bed. the heating was broken and it was quite chilly inside. The hosts also tried on more than 1 occassion to get mt to fill in a guest information pack - I didn't need to do this as Booking.com already holds all my information

• Emma (9/5): Lovely flat and great location - Great location. Felt safe and just a 20 minute walk to the city centre. Good to have parking. Bed was very comfortable. As it's a basement flat it stayed nice and cool in the hot weather. Sofa bed wasn't very comfortable as you can feel the springs. Could make the outside space more welcoming and useable.

• Spencer (2/5): Apartment was not cleaned after the previous users had left - Upon arrival, it was apparent that the apartment was not cleaned after the previous users had left. The bed had not been made, the bins had not been emptied and the cutlery was still out. The hosts did apologise and attempt to offer us a free stay at one of their other locations after the fact, however, it wasn't exactly the comforting and relaxing stay we had hoped for.

The toilet seat doesn’t fit the shape of the toilet so its a bit unsteady when you sit on it… toilet paper was super cheap which was a shame considering how lovely the property was

• Katie (10/5): Great for a city break - Out of the city enough to be very quiet despite being on the corner of a main road. But a pretty walk in to the city by the river was great for us going to and home from a concert at the museum gardens late at night. Felt very safe just two ladies walking alone at 11pm.

The property was very clean. Initially, responses to e-mails were tardy but got better the closer we got to our stay. We couldn't get the hair-dryer to work. We felt it was a bit expensive for the location and facilities.

• Claire (7/5): Very nice place, great location - Property was very clean, lots of space, walking distance from town and York racecourse The parking - our allocated space was not avaialable, so maybe the cleaners could leave a cone so people do not have to worry.. Could do with more shelving in the bathroom, there were not many places to put things, Similarly there was enough space in the bedroom for a chest of drawers and a few more hangers for clothing

• Jerzy (8/5): Great location, pleasant stay, nothing else to add - What a fantastic location! You can stroll to the city centre in just 15 minutes. The apartment is well-equipped, and the internet works like a charm. This is just my subjective opinion, but I felt slightly exposed without window net curtains, especially since the property is along a main road( not impacting your sleep). The placement of the TV in the living room could be improved, as it seems to be positioned a bit too high for comfortable viewing. Here's a little tip regarding parking: as it is not possible to park in advance of your check-in, the best/cheapest option is to park at Morrisons Foss Island Retail Park (2H free for customers) and purchase extra hours.
• Lorna (8/5): Nice little flat in a great location. - Excellent location - walkable to the city centre. A very clean, tidy apartment with all you need. The bed was very firm. Our request that had been made at booking and when we received the check in details was not actioned, but sorted very quickly after a phone call.
• Clive (7/5): Lovely flat in a nice part of York. Easy to get to. - Good location, easy to walk into the heart of York. Nice that there was private parking, with good size parking spaces. Good facilities - appeared to be everything that you might need for your stay - we didn't use much. Furniture was modern and well kept. Generally clean and tidy. *The mattress was stained (old, multiple stains of different sorts....)and there was no mattress protector. Two of the four pillows did not have pillow protectors on. We were pleased we didn't see this until we were leaving. We would expect protectors to be in place - basic/cheaper accommodation use protectors as routine. *The outside of the property could do with a little attention. The area near the large refuse bin is a little shabby, the front path/steps etc needs weeding and the gate could do with a little TLC. *We found the noise from the upstairs flat very loud - every footstep, every chair that was moved, some conversation. Soundproofing was very poor. Luckily the people upstairs weren't moving about until very late or our stay would have been very different. We knew when they were up and about the following morning though. *The hairdryer could do with an upgrade!

Would have been helpful to have an instruction manual eg for tv (couldn’t get it to work) and heating. Overall a lovely spacious and well decorated apartment and we had a very pleasant stay.

• Ann (9/5): Great apartment close to York - Great location, close to York city centre. Fantastic rooms, including great main bed. Bathroom was lovely. Place was warm and quiet. Very clean and lovely decor and atmosphere to the place. Great to have on-site parking as well. All facilities there you'd want/need. Length of curtains meant they covered the radiators in the bedroom when fully closed. The plug in the bath did not work (or at least I couldn't get it to work). The sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep on (very thin mattress and could feel the springs).

All in all it made our visit to York even better. Have already booked again. Personally there was nothing me or my wife didn't like about the place. Will be booking with them in the future

Parking on site was really handy with our own parking place. Plenty of pillows and a spare duvet for colder nights. I would 100% book here again as it’s such a modern cozy apartment in a quiet area. Really enjoyed our night here thank you for having us 🥰

• Maureen (9/5): Lovely large apartment - Lovely large apartment. Plenty of utensils etc. Idealy situated. Nice pubs serving food really close. Ideal for our evening meal. Would love to come back in the summer to be able to use the outside seating area. Personal preference, but we didn't like the position of tv. It's really uncomfortable watching from the sofa (in different position to pic). We had to push it right back. Pillows we're too hard, but again personal preference
• Curt (10/5): I would definitely stay again. - Exceptional finish to this property, the standard was way above the price. Everything you need is there and extremely spacious. The location was perfect also. One small issue for me personally was the pillows, struggled to have a good night's sleep, but that could be personal preference, they were new newish pillows kept well.

• Charlotte (8/5): Very good - The bedroom was really lovely as was the bathroom. The location was good too. A lovely 15 minute walk along the river side. There's 2 pubs close by and a Sainsburys and Aldi close by. It really is a lovely appartment and we would go again. Own secure Cark park space. A little patio with chairs. The bath was lovely. Its, not that we didnt like this but just our own experiences. The kitchen is in the living room with no extraction hood or light so it gets quite dark and filled with cooking smells. There's no door mats. Needed extra essentials such as milk, cleaning spray, oven glove. Majority of appartments we stay in have these along with kitchen roll, foil to line oven trays, salt, pepper etc. Just little things that really would make a difference. I would've liked more communication from owners as contacted them twice and received no reply.
• Goodall (1/5): Bad - Apartment was very dirty and dark none of the tvs worked. Fire Alarm went off at 6am called and no one knew how to turn it off, continued for 40 minutes. Didn't use kitchen as it was disgusting.
• Hodgson (10/5): Nice little haven - Bed was really comfortable The bath and shower were lovely and the location was perfect 10-15 min walk to the city centre and 6 mins drive to university I would definitely recommend the apartment has all you need,hair dryer,pots, plates etc (couldn't find any cutlery tho) Luckily we had plastic ones in the car. Parking onsite is great.nice little patio area. As my daughter is spending 3 years in York I'm sure I'll be booking again 🙂

• James (9/5): Outstanding - Absolutely loved how home like it felt. The bed was so comfy that we didn't want to leave. Amazing kitchen and dining room. There was not big light in the bedroom working and electric went off but the electric came back on again, so just needs checks before guests arrives.

• Jim (1/5): I dealt with one of the representatives by the name of Paul, who was of no help whatsoever. When I told him that the tel - Nothing When we got to the property, we told them that we would have three people with us. My son had to sleep on a sofa with no sheets, blanket or pillows. Horrible. Also, when I went into the shower to turn the water on hot water came on as their valve was not operating properly. Technically, it was broken. We were looking forward to watching the European soccer program, but once again they’re televisions were not working. They’re saying that I didn’t find the remote, but how big of a lie is that. I would never rent from these people again. Check other places before you book into this place horrible. I made several attempts to call them to discuss these issues with them and they contact me hours later. I’ve spoke to a person by the name of Paul, and got nowhere with him. I would never rent from them and I highly recommend you don’t either.
• Katherine (7/5): Great little place, lovely location - Great location and flat was lovely and clean and though basically furnished, had everything we needed and was as described and very spacious. Parking was really easy too and really good value for money. Really enjoyed leaving the car there and walking into York along the river, which was so close. We didn't get any instructions as to getting in, key code etc and had to phone the management co, but they were really helpful and got us the code we needed etc. we didn't need it but there was no TV remote for the TV in the lounge and the TV in the bedroom was not set up and we couldn't use it. Could have really done with some instructions on accessing and departing from the property, the need to strip beds, where the bins were etc not essential but would have been handy.
