Caroline (9/5): Leuke beleving - De omgeving was een prachtig. Echt een leuke beleving. Het huisje was helemaal prima en comfortabel. Wij waren met nog een stel en ergens in de boeking was het verkeerd gegaan omdat we in plaats van 2 huisjes maar 1 huisje kregen. Via boeking konden we de eigenaar bellen en deze nam meteen de telefoon op. Heel vriendelijke man en heeft ons meteen geholpen met een tweede huisje. Je krijgt een code waarmee je de sleutel van het huisje kunt pakken. Ideaal. Al met al een top verblijf.

Bethan (9/5): We would stay again it was lovely and quiet. - The cabin was beautiful. The views around it were stunning and it wasnt far from Selfoss or the Geysir and Gullfoss. We actually got snowed in the first morning there and my son loved playing in the snow and making a snow man. The cabin is very small but you have everything you need. Every time we cooked and opened the oven the fire alarm went off even with all the windows open in the freezing weather. A couple more oven tray would have been handy. If there is a lot of snow follow the advice of the owners and park outside the gate. It was ok until you drove on the road just before the cabin where the snow was up to my knees. We dropped our suitcases in and then left the car by the gate for the rest of our stay. This was difficult for me especially as I have health issues and carrying suitcases through the snow across a field was difficult.

Simon (10/5): Gut ausgestattete Hütte in wunderschöner Lage - Die Hütte liegt wunderschön abgelegen aber dennoch sehr nach an allen Attraktionen des Golden Circle. Die Hütte ist bestens ausgestattet und war für uns als Familie bestens geeignet! Wir konnten die Nordlichter direkt von der Hütte aus betrachten.
Guest (10/5): Great cottage for aurora watching. - The best thing about this cottage is undoubtedly the location for aurora borealis. It's in a remote area, so there's little light pollution, and we had a spectacular show for several hours. It was bitterly cold, so it was great being able to pop in and out of our cottage to warm up before going out to watch the aurora again from the balcony. The cottage was located close to a good road and self check-in / check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cottage was reasonably well equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery etc., and the single heater did a good job at keeping the cottage warm in spite of it being -11C outside. No shower gel or shampoo is included, but this is a very minor point.

Il self check-in è molto comodo. Il parcheggio praticamente davanti alla casa gratuito. Questa è una soluzione perfetta per vacanze in assoluto relax. È stato tutto perfetto.

Julia (10/5): Süßes kleines Haus im Golden Circle - Das Haus liegt sehr nahegelegen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Golden Circles, alles innerhalb von ca. 30 Minuten erreichbar. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut und sehr modern. Auf der Fensterbank war eine Kiste mit Kniffel/Yatzy :) Mit dem Fernseher kann man sich bei Netflix, Disney Plus und Amazon Prime anmelden um kuschelige Winterabende zu verbringen. Vom Haus braucht man ca. 25 Minuten nach Selfoss wo man größere Supermärkte wie Kronan und Bonus findet. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war supi und die Erklärung wie man zum Haus kommt war sehr hilfreich. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist für Island und die Lage völlig in Ordnung. Uns hat es in der Küche an einem etwas größeren Topf und einem Schäler gefehlt. Außerdem würd ich empfehlen Hausschuhe oder dicke Kuschelsocken mitzunehmen. Die Heizung hat nämlich das Haus sehr gut aufgewärmt der Boden war jedoch sehr kalt.

Kerstin (7/5): - Die Unterkunft war ca. 70 Minuten von Reykjavik entfernt und somit ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen. Allerdings muss man ein Auto haben. Innen sehr schön, außen etwas verschmutzt bzw kaputt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war ok. Leider war der HOT- Pool abgebaut, dies wurde uns aber nicht mitgeteilt. Die Außenmöbel waren sehr abgenutzt und ohne Auflagen. Schade, das es sehr frei lag und keine Bäume auf dem Areal. Die Betten waren schmal, für 2 Leute ok, als Doppelbett gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Tomasz (10/5): Wspaniale miejsce na pierwszy lub kolejny nocleg na Islandii. - Jest to pięknie położony i świetnie wyposażony domek (hytta), gdzie można oderwać się od codziennego pędu i szumu. W porównaniu do zdjęć, które widzieliśmy rezerwując nasz pobyt, odnowiona została łazienka a łóżko piętrowe było wymienione na łóżko podwójne i rozkładaną sofę. Wszystko było super, nie było rzeczy, które nam się nie podobały.

Struttura fornita di tutto il necessario, pulizia buona. Buoni gli spazi per 4 persone. Molto apprezzata la macchina del caffè nespresso e il bollitore. (Ovviamente nessuna difficoltà di parcheggio). Nulla da segnalare.

Anke (10/5): - The cottage is directly next to the road from Selfoss to Geysir, yet it was super quiet and peaceful. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and the kitchen brand new. We had an issue with the outside facilities but the host was very quick to react and offer an alternative. We were truly sorry to leave after 3 nights.
Christian (10/5): Die perfekte Ruhe - Das Haus liegt in einer kleinen Ferienhaus-Siedlung. Die einzelnen Häuser stehen ein wenig auseinander und man hat die absolute Ruhe. Es ist perfekt zum abschalten und liegt für die Attraktionen des goldenen Circles perfekt! Wir haben insbesondere die Besuche in der Secret Lagoon sehr genossen! Am Anfang waren wir etwas überrascht, wie klein das Haus ist, jedoch haben wir uns schnell daran gewöhnt und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

Nous avons contacté de suite le gérant avec des photos pour preuve, nous a simplement répondu qu’il préviendrait l’équipe de ménage mais ne nous a aucunement proposé de solution ou de dédommagement. Trop étroit pour 4 personnes
Rob (8/5): - Perfect quiet spot to enjoy the clear skies and look out for northern lights. The discount at the local hot baths was great and they were well worth the visit. Sadly when we arrived at the property the cottage we were supposed to stay in was already occupied. A replacement was found which was fine but looked more dated than the original one. Didn’t see inside both so not possible to fully compare.
Pauline (4/5): Un séjour décevant à cause d’un problème de prise en charge - Le logement est joli et bien éclairé. Une petite cuisine avec micro-ondes, plaques et frigo. Le jacuzzi est sympa après une journée dans le froid. - Un mauvais logement nous a été attribué : à notre arrivée, le cottage est en travaux sans sanitaires ni lit. Uniquement des outils dangereux jonchant le sol. Il a fallu presque 40 minutes pour avoir un retour du logeur indiquant qu’il avait eu un dégât des eaux. Cela est peut être vrai, mais au vu des travaux, cela faisait plus de deux jours, date à laquelle les codes d’accès au logement ont été envoyés. Attendre 40 minutes dans la voiture à 20h30 après plusieurs heures de vol et sans être sur d’avoir un retour, ça commençait mal ! - énorme flaque d’eau dans la salle de bain. Une bouteille d’eau sur le chauffe-eau est à vider par nous même sans qu’aucune information soit indiquée à ce sujet - la bonde dans la salle de bain doit fuir vu l’eau dans le tiroir du meuble - un volet ne se relève plus et la chambre ne peut pas être aérée (fenêtre cassée) - on nous envoie une évaluation automatique proposant de valoriser le bien. Suite au message envoyé à ce sujet indiquant mes problèmes, je n’ai pas eu de retour (même plusieurs jours après)
Großer (5/5): Island....ein Wintertraum - Uns hat die Lage sehr gefallen. Abgelegen und doch in der nähe einer kleinen Gemeinde mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Tankstelle. Das Haus war schön warm als wir in der Nacht bei Schneesturm ankamen. Die Ausstattung mit Kochgelegenheit Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle ist in Ordnung. Wir waren schon in Island....aber zum ersten Mal im Winter. Island ist und bleibt ein Traumreiseziel für uns....🇦🇽 Leider war die Mülltonne randvoll. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen (für uns als Camper aber kein Problem)jedoch wäre es nützlich gewesen die fast 1m hohen Schneewehen vor dem Haus mit einer Schneeschaufel zu bezwingen! (Wir haben eine angeschafft 70,-€!) Unter dem Bett waren noch die Socken des Vormieters zu finden, also wurde nicht ordentlich gereinigt. Als ich die Matratze sah .....musste ich mich sehr überwinden in diesem Bett Schlaf zu finden....das muss doch nicht sein. Entweder regelmäßig tauschen oder einen Matratzenschoner drüber und fertig. Leider gab es nichteinmal einen Besen mit dem man wenigstens grob eine Reinigung durchführen konnte. Magnus hat uns um Kritik gebeten und es liegt uns fern sein Geschäft zu ruinieren, aber mit diesen Hinweisen kann man die Umstände für zukünflige Mieter extrem verbessern. Fam. Großer
anne (8/5): Très bon endroit pour une étape au milieu de la nature - le principe des cottages ou cabine au milieu de la nature est idéal. Le cottage est petit mais fonctionnel. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un cottage rénové donc rien à redire sur son aménagement. Sur la route pour aller à Geysir, donc pratique pour un roadtrip. Vu les prix pratiqués en Islande, c'est un très bon rapport qualité / prix. Le 2eme cottage était plus vieux, et il y avait un lit en mezzanine pas du tout adapté pour des adultes qui sont grands en taille ! il faudrait a minima le préciser dans l'annonce. Il nous a également manqué des informations précises pour accéder aux cabines une fois le portail passé : qd c'est l hiver, la nuit, pas facile de se repérer. il faudrait juste donner accès à un petit plan à mettre en ligne pour les réservations ? en même temps que le code par exemple.

Vanessa (7/5): Das Bungalow war sehr schön und sauber, aber aus der Anzeige ging nicht hervor, dass es ein Ein-Raum-Appartment ist. Für - Die tolle Lage, sauber und gut erreichbar. Es war herrlich warm und eine grandiose und ruhige Umgebung. Die Ausstattung der Küche (keine Schüsseln, viel zu wenig Besteck) und keinerlei Möglichkeiten Jacken oder Skihosen aufzuhängen. Liesel (8/5): Quiet, isolated and central. - The cottage is in an isolated area but really close to Laugarvatn where you can get everything you need. It’s really close to Kerid Crater for a “before” the coaches explore. It’s really easy to explore the Golden circle and easy to find. The shower was hot. The kitchen had all the utensils you need with a large fridge. The hot tub was hot and a welcome treat on a cold night. The cottage is ideal for 2 people. By having a third we lost the couch so our sitting options were the dining room table or the sleeper couch. The main bed is up a small flight of stairs on a mezzanine level- not ideal for the tall. But very comfy.

Le logement est propre et rénové Les oreillers sont tellement plats que semblent inexistant. Le savon pour les mains dans la salle de bain et la cuisine étaient vide. Meritxell (8/5): Un lugar maravilloso donde desconectar y descansar - Me encantó la ubicación. Tiene todo lo necesario para hacer cómoda tu estancia. No se podía apagar la luz del porche para ver mejor las auroras. Usamos el jacuzzi y no calentaba más y al estar un rato abierto el agua se sentía fría.

Maxime (6/5): - Location is great. Very good place to see the stars and northern lights. There is no light switch for the outdoor lights but it’s clearly identified on the breaker’s panel. The hot tub was not on when we arrived. Therefore, it took 2 days to barely go up to 30,5 and we weren’t able to use it.

Flora (7/5): Bien - la ubicación en medio de la nada es espectacular. tuvimos la casa 4B, estaba renovada con gusto pero la cocina seguía siendo muy vieja. No probamos el jacuzzi . Hacia calorcito dentro de la casa y la calefacción se podía regular bien. solo se pueden apagar las luces de una parte del porche por lo que es complicado a la hora de ver las auroras. Los elementos de cocina estaban un poco sucios, nos quedamos sin jabón para la loza y no pudimos hacerla. también no quedamos si jabón para las manos.

Mariia (10/5): - Доволі зручне розташування. Будинок обладнаний всім необхідним. Єдиний мінус, що в джакузі на вулиці була дуже брудна вода і ми не змогли покупатись. Але залишились найкращі емоції від відпочинку, бо прямо над будинком спостерігали північне сяйво!)
Keishla (1/5): Fatal. No encontramos el lugar. Cero comunicación. - Nada. Nunca encontramos el lugar y no pudimos tener contacto con el host. Le escribimos y llamamos y no hubo respuesta. Tuvimos que elegir dos hoteles de última hora luego de recorrer largas distancias en la búsqueda de donde alojarnos. El gasto adicional por la dificultad fue cerca de los 600 dólares. Nada. Nunca encontramos el lugar y ni pudimos tener contacto con el host. Le escribimos y llamamos y lo tuvimos respuesta.
amy (1/5): horrible experience - avoid! - see below absolutely avoid this place, we booked for 2 nights for a birthday - received no check in info leading up to our stay, called the host who didn’t answer and when we finally got in touch over imessage he had no clue we were booked to stay so let us in to a dirty, used cottage not cleaned from the last visitors. Smashed plate left on the counter, used towels and used smelly bed sheets. Upon informing him about this he said he already knew that and so moved us into a clean cottage where we stayed for all of 10 minutes before getting a call telling us to leave as other guests were coming to check in. To top it all off he also told us we would have to find somewhere else for the second night of our stay as he had other guests coming, host promised to contact booking.com and issue us a full refund for the hassle so after hearing nothing for 2 days I phoned them myself only to find he never bothered to contact them in the first place. don’t waste your time or money on this place.
Aco (10/5): - All went as we agreed. Instructions are well written, clean, nice and comfortable. Location is also amazing if u want to visit Golden Circle.
Petra (7/5): Kleines zentrales Häuschen - Es liegt zentral zum Golden Circle und man konnte alles in kurzer Entfernung erreichen. Wir haben die Tomatenfarm Fridheimar besucht und hier in der Weinstube sehr gut gegessen. Außerdem waren im Naturpod Hrunalaug ein bisschen baden. Hier ist nicht so viel Trubel wie in den großen Bädern. Es könnten im Haus etwas mehr Haken zum Aufhängen der Kleidung sein. Vor allem das trocknen der nassen Kleidung wurde so zur Herausforderung.

Eskeldsen (7/5): Aufenthalt war ok aber die Hütte war nicht so modern wie auf den meisten Bildern gezeigt wurde. - Der Aufenthalt war in der Hütte ok. Allerdings für zwei Personen ein sehr schmales und weiches Bett. Der Müll von den Vormietern stand noch unter der Spüle und stank. Wir haben dann den Vermieter angerufen. Der war sehr unfreundlich und hat sich sich nicht gekümmert.
Rudy Vendelbosch (4/5): Oud kan nog steeds netjes en schoon zijn dat was dit zeker niet, erg jammer want plek is mooi. - De locatie is uitstekend en mooi gelegen. Het huisje wat ons was toebedeeld was oud. Nu wisten we dat maar het was erg slordig en grotendeels niet schoon. Veel onderhoud nodig. Badkamer omtimmering ontbrak voor leiding werk. Douchegel midden in gezet, kranen lek. Geur niet prettig. Keuken niet schoon en opgeruimd. Matrassen zagen er absoluut niet fris uit. Jacuzzi was leeg met veel vuil erin.
