• Nicholas (10/5): - We had such a lovely stay in Trastevere this October! The accommodation was perfectly located, close enough to all the charming cobblestone streets, piazzas, and gelato spots, but tucked away just enough to feel peaceful. Traveling with two young kids, we really appreciated how family-friendly the space was. It had everything we needed, and the layout made it easy to relax after long days of exploring Rome. Digital check-in was a breeze, super straightforward and stress-free, which is exactly what you want when juggling luggage and little ones. The host had clearly thought through the details, and we felt welcomed even without a face-to-face handover. Wi-Fi worked well, and the apartment was clean, cozy, and surprisingly quiet for such a lively neighborhood. Most importantly, we felt totally safe the entire time. The building had secure access, and the area itself had a warm, local vibe that made evening strolls with the kids feel relaxed and enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again. None

• Jawwad Darr (10/5): - Everything here was perfect and host was helpful and answers questions v quickly. Supermarket is underneath and its a clothes store with basement food shopping. They try to make it easy to collect keys so just read the info carefully ok. Basically you need keys from outside keylock safe then u need to use a special app to get into apartment. So when you understand u are fine. Not a criticism, just alerting you..

The apartment comes with coffee and water bottles, and there is also possibility to store luggage before and after the stay. We enjoyed our time there! One little thing to note it that you need to pass through multiple doors and locks to get there

• Alexandra (9/5): A nice private apartment in Trastavere. - The apartment itself was huge and very clean. The location was excellent in the heart of Trastavere - right by multiple forms of transit. The host was very communicative and thorough in the directions. Though the host has very specific instructions to enter the property, it still took a bit of time. But honestly really not an issue.

And big apartment Found a cockroach and there were stains on the bed sheets, Getting acces to the appartement is very complicated, need to give a lot of confidentiel information just to have the appartement door open via the app.
• Patakas (8/5): Ευχαριστώ διαμονή,ωραία περιοχή - Η οικοδέσποινα απαντούσε άμεσα σε οτιδήποτε χρειαζόμασταν και ήταν κανάτα ευγενική. Ήταν σε κεντρικό σημείο στην περιοχή Τραστεβερε,κυριολεκτικά δίπλα σε σουπερμάρκετ,και απέναντι από το καλύτερο μαγαζί με τιραμισού. Πολλά μέρη για φαγητό-ποτό και καφέ στην περιοχή. Η διαδικασία του check in γίνεται την ώρα που δηλώνεις πως φτάνεις στο κατάλυμα,πράγμα που είναι αγχωτικό. Ο καναπές/κρεβάτι ήταν αρκετά αναπαυτικός αλλά τρίζουν οι σούστες με την παραμικρή κίνηση. Αν και είναι νέο κατάλυμα υπάρχουν περιθώρια βελτίωσης.
• Cheryl (10/5): Lovely place to stay, love this area. - Location was lovely, away from the chaos and amist the charm of the littler town. If ambitious you can walk to most of the highlights, if not, it's a quick scooter, bike or Uber ride away. Great selections of restaurants. Very responsive. The place was very clean, super cute, well stocked, safe and quiet. Getting in was a little confusing at first, a video was sent, just took a minute to figure it out. The main bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable we have had.

• Marianne (9/5): A lovely, super-spacious, modern & clean apartment in a fantastic area. - The location was perfect - right in heart of Trastevere, which had so many options for restaurants etc, and is such a great, vibrant area to stay in. Walking distance to the centre of Rome. A supermarket right downstairs from the apartment. The apartment was fantastic - so spacious, modern and equipped with everything we needed. Also very quiet, given how close we were to everything. The check-in process was a bit confusing. Too many instructions, that also weren't totally correct, so we struggled for a while to get into the apartment. Didn't like relying on an app on the phone to get in, would much prefer just a good old fashioned key! Or even just a key code on the door. Once we asked the host for help, and got used to it, it was fine.

• Jacqui (9/5): Spacious and well located apartment to explore Rome - Great location and quiet and safe apartment well set up for a week long stay. Host was very responsive. Plenty of space in the apartment and well serviced by public transport, tram and bus routes. Great cafe (Giselda) for late breakfast before going out, and a supermarket downstairs made everything easy for a 2 week stay. Good WiFi Very minor issues. We stayed for 2 weeks which meant that the washing machine in a different (locked and secure) room was less than perfect. Lack of cleaning "things" but an offer to clean and change linen for E50 extra which we did not take. But Host supplied a fresh set of towels and some tea towels. There is some noise from adjoining apartments but no street noise.

• Akashdeep (8/5): Unbeatable location and connectivity in the quieter neighborhood - Unbeatable location for the price we paid. Very spacious and quite equipped for a work from home setup. Trastevere is amazing hence this is a good deal for the ones avoiding major crowds. Few stairs in and out to the property. Garbage disposal is two blocks away which was pointless as housekeeping could do it too.

• Jason (8/5): Great location! - The location is amazing, right in the heart of Trastevere. A grocery store is located right under the accommodation and plenty of great restaurants are located in the area. The place is a bit further from the great monuments and sights of Rome, but as second time visitors in Rome, this neighborhood had so much to offer and we loved it. Still within easy walking distance of all the attractions! The appartement is surprisingly spacious and the amenities are plenty. Check-in was a breeze and the host was responsive and really welcoming! The pictures are very reliable. Great value overall. Two AC units and great water pressure in shower. The apartment is not easily accessible from the street, which should be taken into account for travelers' with limited mobility or a lot of luggage. Several doors need to be opened before reaching the apartment (including a sturdy gate at night which was tricky to open) and quite a few stairs need to be climbed, which was a bit of an ordeal with all our luggage. That said, this would not discourage us from returning. Also, trash needs to be discarded a few blocks away, which was confusing. As a way to improve the experience, trash disposal should be included as part of the cleaning fee. Finally, the apartment walls are paper thin... we could hear the guests in the neighboring BnB late at night which was not optimal.

• Ethereda (10/5): Perfect place for group travelers - We liked the location, the size of the place, the kitchen and the beds. Ilenya was also the perfect host. She was very responsive and helpful. She patiently answered all our questions and happily gave suggestions/recommendations in the area.
• Fiona (10/5): Opulent , a magnificent apartment. - As the name Matilda Charme suggests , this property is in the heart of a very charming area of Trastevere surrounded by restaurants shops and markets and the area had a buzzing atmosphere. We went out for breakfast, lunch and dinner to the local restaurants and all the waiters remembered us each time and chatted to us pleasantly on each visit. The property was huge , modern, stylist and had everything that a guest could possibly need. Our stay was amazing, a 4 star hotel standard. We loved everything.

Location is perfect too, lots of restaurants in area and only a short walk to main attractions. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Rome! Nothing!

• Muriel (10/5): Great place in a great location: just perfect - Everything was perfect. It was easy to get the keys. We were able to leave our luggage at our arrival before check-in time. The location of the place is perfect. It was very quiet at night inside. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. There is a supermarket open every day right at the entrance of the building. There is a storage room to leave the luggage on checkout day.

Great host, very professional and organized. Gave us several tips and was extremely kind and helpful. Very good kitchen with a Nespresso machine as well. Thanks for the free espressos! :-) Totally recommend it!

• Zbigniew (10/5): A great experience! - It's been a pleasure to stay in this apartment. It was very comfy, super clean and well equipped. The apartment is quite specious esp. for Rome's standards. I was very happy with big bathroom (walk-in shower and bathtub!). Every was perfect and I highly recommend this place in the heart of Trastevere. Also - the hostess was super friendly, sent us a bunch of information about Rome, and checked in the middle of the stay if everything is OK. The stay was too short ;)

Less than one full roll of toilet paper, clumpy pillows, and a cheap polyester blanket. I think these are small things that could easily be improved but overall didn’t make this a bad stay.

We have 2 older teens and there was plenty of room. Ilenya is super responsive, and it’s easy to access. Also, there is a grocery store downstairs next to the entrance (Conrad). Perfect place to stay to enjoy Rome!!
• Emrah (10/5): Exceptional - Last night of our stay in Rome we decided to stay in Trastevere because of its bars, cafes and restaurant. Matilde Charme is the best choice because its location is perfect for that. Everything is very new, guaranteed that other guests will be satisfied as well. Everything is fine but with some extra decoration it can be better. If you are with your partner, it lacks of romance, so it would be not a great choice. We searched for bath foam to use it in the tub but eventually we got it from the supermarket.

• Ronald (9/5): ultimate Rome experience in perfect apartment, cheap! - it is brand new, spacious, quiet, clean, cheap compared to hotels. in the middle of all restaurants, bars and fun stuff. the owners respond in minutes on WhatsApp if you have a question. we could also leave our luggage at leaving (our plane was in evening). look no further! we did and this was best choice we ever made. highly recommended! all was really good
