I loved the style of studio but the bathroom had a mouldy smell that was so disappointing because it’s a beautiful new build. Mould sighted in laundry cupboard and bathroom smelt musty. Overall not cleaned well. Sheets stained. Freezer frozen solid. Front door difficult to latch.

• JanaLo (10/5): Výborné ubytovanie - Veľmi pekné ubytovanie v centre mesta! Ubytovanie je veľmi pekne zariadené a má všetko, čo potrebujete. Boli sme veľmi spokojní a ubytovanie môžeme odporučiť. Je to výborná voľba. Kúsok od ubytovania sa nachádza bezplatné parkovisko, kde môžete nechať auto. Ubytovanie by mohlo byť lepšie označené. Ku kávovaru mohli poskytnúť aspoň 2 kapsule na ráno.

Sarebbe stata gradita una bottiglia di acqua fresca in frigorifero, visto l'arrivo in una giornata calda. Ma questa è solo una piccolissima mancanza rispetto a tutto il resto che ci è piaciuto molto.

• Christina (7/5): Schönes Apartment in zentraler Lage in der Altstadt als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Alentejo - Schöne ruhige Lage in der Innenstadt, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit fußläufig außerhalb der Stadtmauer. Sehr Ausstattung (Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine,…) Das schöne zweistöckige Design des Apartments hat den Nachteil, dass man ins Bad auch nachts immer die Treppen runter muss. Im Bad fehlt es an Ablagemöglichkeiten und Haken für feuchte Handtücher. Leider war das Apartment bei Ankunft nicht gut geputzt, wir haben auf der Schlafzimmeretage dann selbst gefegt, um Haare und Staub einigermaßen zu entfernen.

• Katherine (8/5): Beautiful apartment, great location - The location was fantastic and the apartment had all the amenities we wanted. Really lovely setup and it felt luxurious to be there. There were just a couple small things that could be improved. The toilet seat cover was loose or something, so it kept coming off. This should be fixed. The towels had some stains, which didn't gross me as I used them, but may bother people.
• Jolien (8/5): Verblijf Évora - Zeer ruim, mooi en modern appartement met alles erop en eraan. Heel mooie, verzorgde badkamer. Pal in het centrum van Évora. De matras van het bed was redelijk hard en kraakte ook redelijk fel. Bed aan de kleine kant.

• Michael (10/5): Classy apartment in perfect spot in Evora. - Modernised to a very high standard with quality fittings and equipment. Perfect location 5 mins walk from free parking at Porta da lagoa, and then 5 mins walk to the centre of town. Great comms with the host. Nothing, it was perfect.

• Neumann (10/5): - Die Wohnung ist unglaublich schön und sehr zentral. Gratis parken ist 5min zu Fuß entfernt möglich (am großen Parkplatz außerhalb der Stadtmauer). Küche gut ausgetauscht und sehr bequemes Bett. Ich bin schon länger auf Reise und habe die Waschmaschine benutzt lief hervorragend. Sehr zu empfehlen!
• Andrew (9/5): Pleasant facilities - Good location. Good facilities and clean. We booked based on Free on-site parking, which was not the case. The free public outdoor parking is about 8 minutes walk away.

Just note that the host is pretty firm about the 3PM check in time, so just plan accordingly as Evora doesn’t have a lot of options for luggage storage.

• Emma (3/5): There are lots of alternate options in Evora. - I cannot believe this accommodation consistently gets 10? The only positives I can report is location and the light in the bathroom mirror. The furniture is basic, but functional. Yes it is marketed as a loft / so we realised bathroom would be on lower level. What we didn’t realise how dark it would be. On arrival the unit smelt damp & musty. We opened the upstairs courtyard door to try and air it and also ran the heat pumps on dehumidifier setting. The smell is not helped by the half dead plants - one of which had been recently overwatered and had leaked water onto the rug. There is mould behind the drapes at the front door which needs to be addressed. The furniture is basic but functional, however the bed is very hard & unsleepable. The washing machine needs to be deep cleaned or thrown out - on opening I realised that it was dirty and ran it on a hot wash before putting our clothes through a cycle - I wish I hadn’t washed our clothes as they came out dirtier/smellier than they went in. I ended up going to local laundromat to rewash. As noted by others, there are not enough places to hang wet towels / the bathroom could do with a heated towel rail to assist with dampness. The front door jams badly, so you have to really shoulder push it with effort to open from outside. The front door is right on the street level / little privacy if you have the shutter open. We were booked for 2 nights but moved out after 1 and found other accommodation as we couldn’t deal with the smell or face another night in the bed.

• Cristiana (9/5): - O espaço é mesmo muito acolhedor, está totalmente equipado com tudo o que precisamos para cozinhar e até passar uma estadia mais longa se for o caso (tem máquina de lavar a loiça e a roupa). Está muito bem decorado e faz com que nos sintamos em casa. A localização é também incrível para visitar a cidade a pé. Além disso, a 5/6min a pé encontramos vários parques de estacionamento gratuitos onde podemos deixar o carro à vontade. Apenas três pormenores: - As cortinas que existem não tapam o suficiente a luz de manhã. Para pessoas que gostam de dormir em sítios totalmente escuros, pode ser complicado. Por outro lado, durante o dia falta alguma luz natural ao espaço. Podiam colocar uma proteção nas janelas da porta de entrada para desfocar a visão de fora/dentro mas que permitisse a entrada da luz. - A rua do Loft é um tanto movimentada e por isso ouve-se bastante barulho dentro do espaço. À noite torna-se um pouco chato para conseguir dormir. - A wc tinha um cheiro ligeiramente intenso a esgoto, mas nada que não fosse suportável.

• Gabriele (9/5): Lovely apartment in a good location - The apartment was lovely - tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Great kitchen and bathroom with nice crockery and cutlery (that’s not usually the case). The was bedroom was on the mezzanine level and the bed was comfortable with lots of wardrobe space. Next to the bedroom was a small terrace - I assume that was there for the smokers. I believe the space would have been better as a powder room with a toilet as the bathroom was located downstairs but I understand that you need to cater for the smokers Finally, the location was very good in the old town close to everything. Communication with the host via WhatsApp worked well and the were very responsive.
• Franziska (8/5): - Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man hat wirklich alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist super. Auch alles notwendige zum Einkaufen findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es gab recht wenig Tageslicht, da die einzigen großen Fenster direkt neben der Straße verlaufen und daher meistens geschlossen bleiben mussten.
• Iris (9/5): - Prachtig appartement, mooi schoon, goede locatie, parkeren op paar minuten loopafstand buiten de stadsmuur, tv is te connecten met Netflix, Disney+, etc. Buiten verwachtingen en nakijken foto's staat er wel een koffiezetapparaat in de keuken Niet dat het persé minpunten zijn maar eerder verbeterpunten. De bank is nogal klein om op te zitten met zijn tweeën om een flim te kijken, er zit ook een stang voelbaar in het midden. Het bed is nogal aan de kleine kant. Bij de voordeur zie je letterlijk het licht naar binnen komen en daarmee dan dus ook het geluid.
• Hanspeter (8/5): Vielleicht gut für längeren Aufenthalt, nicht für ein paar Nächte! - Modern, hip, gross, sehr viele Dinge, die man kaum braucht (Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Mixer, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Tiefkühler etc.etc.) Es fehlen wesentliche Dinge: Klopapierhalter und Klopapier! Keine Ablage für Douchemittel in Douche. Sehr harte Matratze, Kunststoff- Faser gefüllte Kissen. Sehr viele Treppen.

• Esperanza (7/5): Cómodo para ver Evora, pero no para descansar adecuadamente. - La decoración y la estética del loft, tal y como aparece en las fotos, dos alturas con mucha amplitud en la estancia, el baño con algo de luz natural y muy moderno todo, con lo necesario en la cocina para desayunar o cenar si se quiere. Muy cerca de los principales monumentos de Evora, se puede ir caminando sin problema. La cama era muy incómoda, durísima (de muelles) y para nuestro gusto, estrecha (135 cm), cuando te movías sonaba el somier, y esto es un inconveniente para el descanso. Además se escucha continuamente el paso de coches en la calle, porque son empedradas y se escucha bastante, así como las conversaciones de la gente que pasa. La última noche tuve que dormir con tapones porque al lado hay estudiantes y estuvieron haciendo una reunión sin tener mucho en cuenta el descanso de las personas. Además he de señalar que justo al frente del alojamiento hay un gin bar, con el que no hemos coincidido que estuviese abierto, pero tras pasar allí tres noches y escuchar los ruidos, imagino que se escuchará mucho también. En resumen, si lo que quieres es descansar, no creo que sea un alojamiento adecuado. Por último, anuncia que hay parking gratis en las inmediaciones, y efectivamente lo hay, hay que caminar como cinco minutos, está al lado del acueducto fuera de la muralla, a tener en cuenta si vas con mucho equipaje.
• Henk (9/5): Prachtig loft binnen vesting - Prachtig loft, van alle gemakken voorzien , binnen de muren vd stad. Uitladen voor de deur prima te doen, parkeren buiten de muur ook( gratis). Bakker 70 m naar rechts. Helaas, moet ik toch t bed noemen: smal en kraakt, het lag niet lekker. Al vaker genoemd. Zou investeren in ander bed. Anders gaven wij het huis een 10. - keukenlinnen niet aanwezig, maar hadden we zelg bij ons.( handdoek, theedoek en vaatdoekje)

Most of all our host Ana who went above and beyond to help us. I needed to access a dr whilst away and nothing was too much trouble. She made the appointment and insisted on driving me there despite my saying I would get a taxis she translated to the receptionist which helped with the process and even offered to wait and drive me back. This was so kind and I cannot thank her enough. Nothing

• Jennifer (9/5): Centrally located modern apartment - The apartment is well equipped with good quality furnishing and kitchen utensils. It is spacious with bedroom on the upper level. It is centrally located and easy to walk to the town centre and drive out of the town. It is difficult to find a car park nearby. But we managed to find one a few minutes walk from the apartment. No shower gel was provided but plenty of shampoo of various brands. The toilet is on the lower level only, you have to travel downstairs and walk to the back of the apartment if you need to go to the toilet at night. Not sufficient towel rack is provided in the bathroom.

• Marco (10/5): Splendido - Dimensione della camera e arredamento moderno. Una camera con soppalco molto ariosa a causa dei soffitti alti e molto ben disposta. Dotata di moltissimi elettrodomestici, pulita e in centro. Parcheggio assente quindi si deve parcheggiare in strada a pagamento.

Il manquait aussi des lingettes ou des essuie-tout. Des explications sur les possibilités de stationnement ainsi que l’emplacement du séchoir à linge auraient été appréciés aussi.
