- Stefan (6/5): So so - The mattress was fine and if the bed wasn't broken would be fine. It's not bad at all. I would say so so, but you can see from my video and you can decide if it's good enough for you: https://youtu.be/YTOjw2NeEZA It was a bit mess in the kitchen. The bed was broken and couldn't sleep well.

- Gavin (8/5): Cheap budget stay with pleasant hosts would certainly stay again - Had a friends party which was literally in the the very next street so this was just right for me, the African hosts were very polite throughout my time there and kept themselves to themselves which is totally fine and I had no issues with them during my one night stay.
The room was a good size and tidy whilst the bed I found very comfortable too. WiFi was provided for free which was fast enough for streaming Netflix without any issues etc.. I didn't really use any of the facilities so cannot really comment on those, but the room seemed quiet (even if it is on a council estate). There are a few shops next door - although the Chinese takeaway was closed for some reason which was unlucky for me as I got peckish :) Nothing really - I wasn't expecting the Ritz as I just required somewhere to lay my head for a few hours so this was ideal for me, there is off-road parking but I wasn't able to park directly outside however but this wasn't really a problem as I parked further up the road. The room (Room 3) doesn't have an ensuite, again not a problem but I can appreciate some people would need their own bathroom however this wasn't an issue for myself. This seems ideal for a solo traveller but not so much for a family/large groups where a hotel room would better suit them.
A small gripe would be the key safe compartment worked fine but took me a few 'goes' to open this up and get the keys out.

- John (7/5): just what the doctor ordered - just what the doctor ordered not a lot
- Jill (3/5): It was ok - It was a short drive to the town centre Not very clean - kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
No bedroom lamps.
Shared house on a council estate with the owner.
- Jamie (1/5): This needs fixing 1 - Bed was fairly comfortable There is no hot water in the bathroom sink to wash with. This is unacceptable.
- Ilemobayo (9/5): Very comfortable and nice environment - Very clean apartment Nothing
- Clare (2/5): Won’t stay again. - Tiny room, dreadful bed. Kitchen area was untidy.

- Suzan (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (1/5): Bad - Nothing Small room, had to keep walking through the kitchen, the owners lived in the property, walls were thin so I could hear loud African noises all day and night. I would never stay again.
- Reindolf (1/5): Bad -
- Nekrasevicius (9/5): Superb -
- Jacques (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (1/5): Didn't stay. Left after 20 minutes. - Disgusting little room just 2.2m x 1.7m. Had to pass through very smelly kitchen. Horrible place. Left after 20 minutes after arranging accommodation at the Ibis. Its just a tiny room in a house. The house is totally unsuitable for guests. IT SHOULD NOT BE ON YOUR WEBSITE.

- Krishnan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenny (9/5): Very enjoyable - Staff friendly ,compound clean
- Matore (1/5): Bad - Nothing l didnt get any service Never going there again.I booked a room and had informed the providers that I will arrive around 8pm. To my surprise when I arrived on the stipulated time the code that I was provided with was not working and didn't get access to the room I tried calling the agent but they kept cancelling my call. I knocked the door as the lights in the other rooms were switched on, showing that there were other people inside but noone came to my aide. I was left stranded with nowhere to go. I left a message to the owner who rudely told me that I should have called them when i tried explaining that my calls were cancelled and l would kindly like a refund as l did not use the facilities he blocked me and banned my calls as up to now my number won't get through even messaging him. I am very disappointed on this kind of scam. Imagine being left outside in the cold for 2 hours. Please return me my money.
- Humphrey (9/5): Superb - Comfortable stay and clean environment
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Judd (10/5): Exceptional - host was fab
kitchen tv lounge home from home ideal for working away
- Ade (5/5): Room in a terraced house to lay your head. - Living room was okay. WiFi worked well. Free on-street parking. Needs a process for ensuring entrance door is not left open day and night for security reasons. Fan noisy and unusable. All esle.
- Jamie (3/5): Poor -
- Jose (3/5): Poor -
- Gracious (7/5): Good -
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Tomasz (1/5): Non English speaking habitants. Cold water only. - Nothing. Absolutely disgusting. This is not a typical booking.com house. Avoid at all costs. As level 3 this is the worst place I have ever been to. Would prefer to get a shower at gym and sleep in a cars trunk. Non English speaking habitants. I was told at my arrival cold water only. It looks like people live there on a council house and benefits. Conduct of booking.com is scandalous they do not address those criminal practices.
No job, no speaking English, literally nothing.

- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and amazing host
- Angela (1/5): Do not book. Possible scam. Pin number changed and unable to access. - Nothing. Unable to gain access to property I arrived to a house on a council estate with various unsavoury types passing by. I was then unable to access the property due to the pin number having been changed and not having been informed. I phoned and text the contact but did not get a reply until hours later by which time I had booked and checked in elsewhere.
Despite being told my booking would be refunded, there has been no refund.
- John (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing to like.all done on line .no one to greet . Very drab .mattress lumpy .television not showing picture cos channel not paid .garden at rear it is barren no plants .it felt shabby and dust in air .no windows left open
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandre (7/5): Good -
- Ganta (7/5): Cosy, met our needs for somewhere to stay in Northampton. - The room was warm and cosy and light, just across from the bathroom. We travelled with our little boy and there was grass outside and a swing nearby to entertain him. 2 minutes drive from a lovely park with playground. A corner shop right next door for anything we had forgotten. I found the pillows quite hard but no-one else minded. We booked for 3 adults and a child, the double bed was a great size but the futon would have been very tight for an adult plus child. There was a spare mattress in the cupboard which our 3rd adult used to sleep on the floor and that was fine!
- Dean (8/5): Needed a room for 4 people got a room for 4 - Its location The sound travelled, worried to make a noise
- Mushayavanhu (8/5): Fantastic - Affordable Nothing
- Ajesh (1/5): Bad - Nothing ☹
- Mesigo (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (5/5): Passable -
- Abimboye (8/5): Very good - Location and accessibility to town centre Nothing in particular
- Evans (10/5): Exceptional - The lodge is very clean & has a good vibe. There is a proper kitchen, you can make your own meals. Plus a laundry machine & dryer.
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb - I am very happy nothing
- Amina (7/5): Good -
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pearce (4/5): Disappointing - The location was decent
Alright shops right next door.
Cash machine less then a 10 minute walk. Bed bugs on bed
Host wore his tight boxer shorts most of the first day there, despite there being women staying there. (Even introduced and showed us around while wearing his boxer shorts.
The host clearly was favouring his black women guests more to the point it was uncomfortably creepy.
- Wayne (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was comfortable No tv in the room and it was long walk to my room!!
It kinda felt like i was in a refugee camp
- Lorraine (5/5): A room in someone’s house - It was the cheapest we could find for one night stay It’s very tired and needs a lot of maintenance. There were only a couple of small towels. The bedding was clean but the room could have done with cleaning - the mirrors were really dusty. The tap in the bathroom was broken and the power shower didn’t work.
- Terry (2/5): Very poor -
- Cleve (6/5): Pleasant - Staff attends to your needs and concerns Require a few basic maintenance. Regardless its worth the money value
- Evans (10/5): It was an excellent place to stay - J Lodge is very nice & tidy.
- Rob (8/5): Overall a n - Room 4 was very small but compact, bed very comfortable, could open the window nice and wide, soft touch lamp and plenty of places to charge phones etc, full use of kitchen and private toilet and sink, hosts were very helpful and accommodating, shop next door ideal for getting snacks and drinks etc Room was a little on the small side so got a bit stuffy, maybe put a small fan in the rooms in the summer to help ventilate
- Felix (1/5): The trip I was supposed to enjoy became horrible because of the hotel. - Nothing There is a bad odour there
- Lara (8/5): Very good -
- Pierre (9/5): Superb -
- Simbarashe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simbarashe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oliver (8/5): Perfectly adequate room for the night - Nice and comfortable, clean room. Can't complain for the price The TV didn't work, or didn't pick up signal anyway
