• Sabine (10/5): Wir wollten gar nicht wieder weg! - Einfach alles! Es war fantastisch. Wir buchen sehr oft Ferienhäuser, aber dieses hier, trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen, war unschlagbar. Morgens mit Blick auf das Meer wach werden. Am Abend mit Meeresrauschen einschlafen. Wir waren eine Woche vor Ort und nach 4 Tagen , wurden die Betten frisch bezogen, Handtücher ausgewechselt und das Haus gereinigt. Unfassbar! Sauberkeit und Ausstattung waren top. Bei Ankunft war Obst, Getränke , Eier, sämtliche Gewürze, Waschmittel und sogar Wein vorhanden! Der Vermieter jederzeit ansprechbar. Ich würde gerne noch mehr Sterne geben, wenn möglich. Aber um irgendwohin essen zu gehen, benötigt man ein Auto! Aber , wir wollten ja diese Lage! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!! Uns hat alles gefallen. Der einzige Punkt , den man verbessern kann, einen aufstellbaren Wäscheständer. In der schattigen Ecke, wo sich der Feste befindet, trocknet die Wäsche zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht und man muss sie auf die Liegen, auf der Terrasse legen. Aber das, ist der einzige kleine Punkt zum anmerken! Keine Kritik!
• Sharon T (10/5): A beautiful villa in a stunning location which exceeds expectations - - great communication with the host - ease of access & proximity to the airport - absolutely spotlessly clean & fresh linen provided every few days - very generous treats provided on arrival - the grounds of the villa are very spacious with a fabulous pool and ocean views - excellent air con - the hosts really have thought of everything in this villa and it is even better than the photos! - there is nothing not to like, even the proximity to the airport became a bonus and a good source of entertainment whilst lounging around the pool on the very comfortable sun loungers.
• Jo (10/5): Luxury family holiday - Stunning villa, beautiful sea view. Gorgeous pool especially lit up at night. The most generous welcome food and drink package we've ever known. Didn't want for anything! And cleaners every three days with fresh towels and bedding - wasn't expecting that!
• Norica (10/5): Beautiful place, planning to return one day! - The villa is absolutely beautiful! The view is amazing! There is everything you need inside the villa. The outdoor space is very big with lots of seating places, very nicely decorated. Very clean. The proximity did not bother us at all, it was actually very exciting to see the planes coming and going. Very nice little beach near the villa and 15 min walk to a big and beautiful beach nearby. Very easy to communicate with the host. You need a car to move around and visit the island. We really enjoyed our stay! Nothing, we had a wonderful holiday there.
• רותם (10/5): An amazing stay! The property was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed - Exceptional stay – highly recommended! We were a group of 6 girls and had the most amazing time. The property exceeded all expectations – it was super clean, beautifully designed, with a gorgeous pool and new, modern rooms that created a peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped (including a coffee machine and moka pot), and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with eggs, cheeses, fresh fruits, and even wine – all provided by the lovely host. We loved the outdoor area with a grill, hammocks, and a big wooden table for shared meals. We also had a last-minute request, and the host responded immediately with great kindness and professionalism. In short – a dream place! We had a fantastic trip and will definitely return. The beds were okay – not super comfortable, but definitely fine for a short stay. It wasn’t possible to open windows at night since the only opening was a glass door, though it was manageable. Also, the curtains weren’t fully blackout, so in the eastern room it got quite warm in the morning due to the sunlight. But honestly – beyond that, the place was simply a dream!
• Bill (10/5): The host was very generous in providing extras for our stay such as food and drink. Did not expect that. - Extremely clean, easily accessible, very accommodating. Bed mattress a little too firm.
• Dan (10/5): Unforgettable views and sunsets. - The house was amazing! From the time we drove into the entry, it was clean and tidy. Entering the door, there were plenty of supplies so that we did not need to run to the store immediately. The pool was refreshing at all times of the day. The location was a little remote from various sites, but overall it was not an issue and we expected long drives to site see.
• Paul (10/5): Perfect place to spend a week in the Greek sunshine. - We stayed here for the first week of August and for us, the location was perfect...an uninterupted view out across the patio/pool & garden to the sea practically on the doorstep. Ok, we were between the runway and the sea but honestly, the aircraft noise was infrequent and not in anyway intrusive..quite the contrary. We have stayed in a few nice villas with private pools in Greece over the years and this one is easily the best yet, couldn't fault a single thing. I would say a car is essential though..well it was for us. Yes, you can walk into the nearest bars/shops/restaurants in Sovranata but it's a long walk at any time especially in that sun and they're not up to much when you get there. As others have pointed out..no shallow end in the pool..it's all 1.65m deep. On the plus side, my 1.55m wife learnt to swim quickly!! Absolutely nothing not to like.
• S (9/5): A near-perfect dream vacation in a great location with fabulous modern facilities and fixtures. - The location, overlooking the Ionian Sea, was superb. The villa is well equipped and appointed. Beautiful grounds, patio and pool. Extremely private and quiet. Fabulous place for a romantic getaway. The pool is well maintained and was clean when we arrived. The water height is a uniform 1.65m - which is fine (just be aware that there is no shallow water). Outdoor shower was a great benefit as well. The kitchen has everything you could need. Bathrooms and showers were good. Beds were ok. Being close to the airport was a big plus for us both in terms of proximity to our ride in and out and it was also really fun to watch the planes takeoff and land. We actually saw the airport's proximity as a positive and not a hinderance. Close enough to Argostoli to make the evening hangout in town very easy. Great couple of sandy beaches a short walk away. Upon arrival the kitchen was stocked with eggs, fruit, coffee capsules, cake, cookies and a couple of bottles of wine - a really nice touch. No outdoor handles on the patio doors. Odd smoke detector placement.
• Chad (9/5): superb villa with amazing view in a great location. outstanding standard. - The check-in was very efficient. The property was modern and immaculate, yet very homely. It’s very well equipped in every aspect. We find everything we needed and more. the host’s attention to details is superb (they even made sure there was some provisions in the villa for our first night/morning). The pool was great, good size, very clean and well maintained. I’ve rented many nice holiday villas but on this occasion the standard exceeded our expectations. We just can’t fault it. The view is amazing and the location is very peaceful yet a short walk to the nearest beach and a few minutes drives to many nice beaches and restaurants and the Argostolion was about 15min drive. The villa is about 200 yards from the airport’s runway so we’d hear a plane land/take off from time to time (not at night), but it was not disruptive at all. We did not pay much attention to it. I stayed for a week with my teenage kids and we loved it. I highly recommend it. Nothing
