• Koos (10/5): Een heerlijke verwen vakantie met alle luxe. - Het huis met zwembad en tuin zijn met prachtige materialen gebouwd. De airco werkt fantastisch en het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam. Elke keer een lekkere traktatie bij thuiskomst. De villa's zijn rustig gelegen met een prachtig uitzicht. Misschien iets meer privacy in de vorm van meer planten maar gezien het complex nog vrij nieuw is zal dat in de toekomst meer begroeit zijn.

• IOANNIS (4/5): - Stylish appartment and in general helpful owners. Indoor and outdoor aesthetic. Easy to use gas barbecue. Clean and lean. Awful, unstable wifi, especially outdoors. Bare minimum in kitchen and bathroom amenities. Noise 24/7 from the nearby high traffic road, leading to Parga. There are prisons in Cambodia that have more comfortable pillows. Overpriced for what it offers.

We hesitate to write this review since we feel like we uncovered a hidden gem and want to keep it to ourselves, but to help others take advantage of this gorgeous, brand new property: The Hosts: The accommodation alone is breathtaking, but the hosts are what make Monalia Suites unforgettable. That Monalia is a family-run business was visible in every aspect, from our check-in to the moment we left. Eleni and her family are the perfect hosts: present and attentive without being intrusive. When we arrived, Eleni was waiting to welcome us personally, showed us around our villa, and advised we could contact her on her mobile at anytime with questions or if we needed recommendations. Throughout our stay, Eleni and her mum went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable; they recommended local restaurants to us and even ordered us a coffee delivery when we returned home in the afternoon. The Villa: The quality of the hosting at is matched by the accommodation. We stayed in the two-bedroom villa, where every room is thoughtfully appointed, decorated with modern Japandi minimalism, with natural woods, concrete, marble, terracota and relaxing neutral tones. There is everything you need to feel at home, including a large fridge and freezer, a nespresso coffee machine, smart TV, well-appointed kitchen, washing machine, steamer (no iron), hairdryers and a gas barbecue. The infinity pool is almost as large as some hotels we have previously stayed in, and has a direct view of the sea. Before arriving we did not think it could possibly be as good as it looks in the pictures, but the pictures don’t actually come close - it is a stunning property. The atmosphere is one of luxurious tranquility, both inside and out. It honestly felt like we were staying in a spa hotel, from the welcome gift of complimentary wine, milk, water and bread to the Rituals toiletries (Karma), Egyptian cotton bedding, bathrobes, towels and slippers.
