Liz (10/5): Wonderful stay in the heart of nature - An excellent reserve for birdwatching - Fernando showed us around almost as soon as we arrived! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was also excellent and plentiful. Our room was big and comfortable with a unique view from the shower! It’s also great to have a covered veranda where you can relax in comfort even when it’s raining! Everything was fantastic - it is a little on the expensive side but I guess you are paying for access to good birding.

Renate (5/5): Ripoff in paradise! - While we loved the facilities, beautiful location and abundance of birds, we left with a bad feeling as the lady at the reception liied to us about the bird tour being included in the price only to then charge us 75.000 COP per person at checkout. Dinner is 72.000 extra and includes only one small main course w. juice, Due to the ripoff we cannot recommend the place and won't return! Ripoff!!

Watching the hummingbirds and spotting rare species all around the property was incredible. The bird guides were amazing—be sure to book them in advance through the hotel so they can arrange English or Spanish-speaking guides. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was excellent. The rooms had hot water with great pressure, and although there’s no AC, the fans kept things comfortable at night. I absolutely loved my stay here and highly recommend it to anyone passionate about birding. It’s a remarkable place that made me appreciation Colombia even more!
Ellen (10/5): Stunning setting, spectacular for birders, and incredibly considerate and expert staff. - This is a spectacular reserve where you feel tucked away in the forest. You will wake up to the calls of the Common Potoo outside your window, but be greeted by fresh coffee (picked and roasted on site) when you wander out your door. The property is beautiful, simple, comfortable, and incredibly thoughtfully designed. If you are a birder, you MUST stay here. Fernando will guide you expertly through the forest and tailor his guidance to your experience level. One of our favorite places we’ve ever birded. And the food was absolutely delicious. Nothing - it was fantastic.

Emma (10/5): A must stop birding destination - We had a huge room with a balcony overlooking the rainforest which was awesome. Beds comfy and great showers! Food was excellent value for money and perfect for the long days out birding. Guides are excellent. Nothing
