• Marchiana (10/5): Ottima posizione - Mi è piaciuta la posizione, la cura con la quale l'appartamento è stato ristrutturato, la gentilezza dello staff L'appartamento dà direttamente sulla strada quindi può essere un po' rumoroso

• Lavagna (10/5): Petit bijou, hôte accueillante - Excellent. Idéalement situé. Arrivée et départ faciles. L'hôte, Ilaria, est disponible et facilement joignable, tout a été simple avec elle. De plus, l'appartement est un petit trésor, décoré avec goût et soin. La propreté est irréprochable. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir Rien
• Amanda (10/5): Ne avevamo proprio bisogno:-) - Posizione comodissima in centro storico e a piano terra. Ci sarebbe piaciuto scambiarci un saluto di persona con Ilaria gentilissima e super disponibile. Se ricapiteremo a Lucca torneremo qui da lei.

• Ane (10/5): Perfecto, espectacular en todos los sentidos. - Todo, la atención por parte de Chiara, la ubicación, la amplitud, decoración, comodidad, champán de bienvenida, instalaciones… limpísimo. Creo que es de los mejores lugares donde nos hemos hospedado. Volveremos sin duda. Espectacular en todos los sentidos. Totalmente recomendable. Nada.

• VALERIA (10/5): - Bellissimo alloggio dotato di ogni comfort e tenuto bene. Letto comodo e alloggio molto silenzioso nonostante ci si trovi in centro. Comodissimo per visitare la città a piedi. Check in e Check out comodissimi visto che fatti tramite cassetta di sicurezza con le chiavi. Abbiamo fatto solo due notti e non l'abbiamo usata molto se non per colazione ma anche la cucina era perfettamente attrezzata. Inoltre é presente la macchina del caffè (con alcune cialde) e varie bustine di tè e tisane. Molto apprezzato. Assolutamente consigliato per una visita a Lucca!! Nulla

• Pignatelli (7/5): Good place for solo travelers or couples who do not like stairs and want to be next to the city centre. - Location, quiet street, ground floor good for heavy luggage and leg problem, staff digital assistance. - towels too small - not enough shelves in bathroom - lighting plugs and bulbs can be improved

The toilet was clean but smelled bad. We couldn’t find anything but there was a constant smell of sewers that was very off putting. Perhaps air coming up from inside the drains!

• Marta (10/5): It's suitable for short or long term, well-furnished, great host. - We had a nice stay, apartman was very clean, beds are comfy, enough towels and kitchen equipments, nice coffee machine with coffee pods. Close to the city center and we liked that it wasn't in the crowded streets and it was ground floor so no steps. Good for elderly. Cafes and restaurants are close by. Host was very responsive and polite. Easy to get the key, instructions are very detailed. Everything was as expected or better. We liked everything.
• Dimitar (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, right next to IMT campus. There is a farmers market nearby on some days and the food there is very high quality and cheap. The host was i creadibly polite and helped me out with a lot of suggestions for activities in Lucca. Any inquiries were addressed promptly. The apartment itself is perfect, especially when it is hot.

The host Ilaria was fantastic, so kind and helpful and gave us some great recommendations for cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was perfect, really cool inside, has everything you need and a very comfy bed. It’s located in a lovely part of town surrounded by really nice bars, cafes and restaurants and near everything. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone.

Fast communication with the host; arrival/entering instructions were very clear. Maybe flip the mattress one day since most people apparently sleep on the same side of the bed

• Sandy (10/5): The staff were very helpful and easy to contact throughout the booking process and while we were there and I would recom - The accommodation was in a great location to the old town within the walls. Is good base for going away on day trips. Some small things like smaller mugs and a place in shower to put shower gels and shampoo would have been good.

Did not hear any noise. Host was extremely helpful. Very good at communicating. Always available to give advice and help. Beautiful little apartment with everything you need for a stay in the city. Excellent use of the space . I will definitely be back to this apartment next time I’m in Lucca. Highly recommended. Nothing
• Alison (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Lucca. - The property is perfectly place in the heart of Lucca close to a lovely piazza with restaurants. Just a short walk to the shops and historical buildings. There isn’t anything to comment the place is great just perfect

Even in the messages regarding our arrival, we were met with a friendliness and hospitality far more genuine and pleasant than we had encountered before. There were guides to the area with great recommendations and what felt like a sincere interest in giving us the best possible experience. What a fantastic attitude towards their guests. The apartment is on the ground floor and is naturally a bit dark, but it contains everything you need. The location is absolutely perfect. We can only recommend this lovely little place. Nothing.
• John (8/5): Very good - Apartment has all facilities you need and the owner very good and checks if all ok and gives good tips of where to eat out. Location is very central also. Was very hot during our visit , so better Air conditioning would have been useful.

• Yelena (9/5): Superb - Communication with the host was beyond hospitable. Host was always there for me, answering every question right away and helping out! A bottle of processor met us upon arrival. And everything was in order, even salt, pepper, spices, oil - everything you need to enjoy the kitchen facilities for a night! Its quite warm inside, and airco is quite noisy. At night we turned it off but there were only little windows opening outside and it was not enough for us - we prefer to sleep in cold room. However, that being said, I'll definitely recommend it and stay again while in Lucca
• Justine (8/5): Comfortable accommodation with a delightful host - Good quiet location but with several cafes suitable for breakfast, and bars for an evening drink just around the corner on a pretty square. Unfortunately the street directly in front of the house is having major works which begin early in the morning. Obviously only temporary and not too intrusive.

• Rachel (10/5): A wonderful and special apartment in old Lucca - This ground floor apartment in a residential block was full of charm, very secure, comfortable and meticulously clean, has plenty of space and is very well equipped for extended stays. The location was fantastic and it was easy to walk everywhere in Lucca. We felt like we were living as part of the community. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming and provided lots of tips on where to eat and explore. Easy access to apartment using a key safe. Nothing

The flat was in a great location nearby the centre with some lovely restaurants a short walk away. The host was very accommodating, shared lots of information on things to do in Lucca. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
• Sorana (10/5): Wonderful accommodation in Lucca - Le mongolfiere is a wonderful accommodation in Lucca, in the old town, close to piazza del Amfiteatro. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very nice decorated, really charming and in the kitchen area you find everything that you need for cooking. We loved the feeling of staying for a few days in this beautiful accommodation and strolling around the streets of old town Lucca.

A window to air the appartment would have been great (there is one in the kitchen but it can't really be opened easily). Instead the entrance door needs to be opened as the appartment is literally located right off the street.

The hosts explain everything in detail and are willing to help at any time. In the apartment there's everything you need, including air-conditioning. There's really nothing that bothered us much. The noise level is normal for a stay in the heart of the city.
