Josie (4/5): Update Me - The sheets were clean. The tv was going after few attempts.kitchenette tidy Spa bath looked old, looked like the filter never been clean. The place has had nothing updated since 2014 when we were first there. Window cills had not been dusted, dead flies on it.I asked girl at front desk if there was any milk, she didnt understand what i was saying. Even when i asked for towels, , she stood there stunned.

Shelley (7/5): Spacious studio, clean an comfortable - Chose motel as a one night stopover only on the way home on a road trip. Able to sort out getting key easily as we were arriving late. Comfortable and spacious enough for the amount of time we were there. Facilities such as toaster etc for breakfast but no sink with bench and had to get water from the bathroom sink. Would be difficult to wash dishes etc if staying longer

Sue (7/5): We needed a stopover and this was reasonably comfy and well set up. Staff were very helpful. - The staff were helpful and the location was handy. There was an ironing board and an iron in the cupboard, which was very useful. TV was nice and simple to operate. The mattress was comfortable enough, but very sensitive to any movement, so every time one of us shifted even slightly, the other was disturbed. The otherwise lovely walk-in shower sent some of its water along the floor, which resulted in a soaked bathmat. Neither of these a huge deal, but a bit annoying.

I struggled with my wheelchair when it came to moving about on the shingle in the parking area. I knew the motel was close to the main road and the rail way but it didn't bother me.

But nothing a cup or glass to tip water in wouldn’t solve. Bit of traffic noise, understandable as on main road, but not enough to keep us awake.

Mel (8/5): A cosy place to go to unwind after a long day - We stayed to attend a tangihanga at our local Marae, knowing that we would be there all day, we returned each evening to a cosy and warm room... the little things was meaningful after a long 5 days. Thank you!! It is a little outdated but was very comfortable for our needs. Had a great sleep!!
