• Steve (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable cabin in the forest - Peaceful and comfortable cabin in the forest We had a fantastic stay at ReindeerCabin PoroMökki in Levi. The chalet was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The beds were excellent and we all slept really well after long days out exploring the area. One of the highlights was the private sauna, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The cabin is surrounded by forest, so the views were beautiful and it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. It really felt like a proper Lapland experience. The host was also very helpful and always available on WhatsApp if we had any questions or needed assistance, which made everything very easy. The only small moment of confusion we had was figuring out the front door lock on the first day. It works a little differently from the locks we’re used to at home, so we had a brief “how does this work?” moment before we figured it out. Once we understood it, it was completely straightforward. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. It’s a great place for a relaxing family trip. The was nothing we didn't like.

Certainly not luxury and no cribs as advertised on booking.com, yet a neat destination close to the XC tracks and ski areas and a bit remote. Would be great to know beforehand this is a shared place with the owner: closets etc stuffed with owner's belongings and clothing. Kitchen is fairly outdated, yet everything worked.

• Pasi (8/5): Sopiva hinnoittelu primetime viikolla. - Yhteydenpito vuokraajaan oli helppoa ja nopeaa. Makuuhuoneet tilavia hyvillä sängyillä. Saunaosasto oli hieno ja helppokäyttöinen. Olohuone ja keittiö toimivat. Vuokraus onnistui 3 yön tarpeeseen. Takka näyttävä mutta vain fiilistelyä varten. Keskuslämmitys sinänsä riitti ilman takkaakin.
• Frank (5/5): An sich schönes Haus, aber extrem schmutzig und leider mit Sachen der Eigentümer voll gestellt - Eigentlich ein wunderschönes Haus, etwas abseits der Stadt gelegen, dafür aber ruhig und sehr hübsch. Leider total dreckig und ungepflegt. Die Zimmeraufteilung war okay, es gab leider nur ein Doppelbett, die beiden anderen Betten konnte man zwar zusammen schieben, aber es waren eben zwei Einzelbetten. Das dritte Zimmer oben ist eigentlich ein Abstellraum und wirklich nur für Kinder geeignet, weil man nicht aufrecht stehen kann. Gleiches gilt für die Galerie. Die Stiege nach oben ist handelbar aber für kleine Kinder nicht sicher. sehr schöner Kamin, sehr gute Aufteilung des Wohnzimmers. Die Sauna war auch hübsch, aber sehr klein, für maximal zwei Personen. Sehr nett war, dass wir schon um 11:30 Uhr in das Haus durften. Das Haus war extrem ungepflegt. Überall standen private Sachen rum, dreckige Wäsche, verschmutzte Handtücher, gebrauchte Bettwäsche, dreckige Socken, Schuhe, Bekleidung der Eigentümer. Die Töpfe waren ultra dreckig, wir mussten alles erst gründlich schrubben, bevor wir es benutzen konnten. Der Backofen war ebenfalls ecklig, mit eingebrannten Essensresten auf Backblech und Rost und am Backofen innen. Da war auch nichts mehr zu retten, das waren einfach uralte eingebrannte Speisereste. Der Kühlschrank war voll geräumt mit Sachen, die man aber dort lassen sollte. Sogar Spritzen lagen in dem Kühlschrank und weitere Medizin in den Schränken. Das gleiche galt für die Küchenschränke. Überall angefangene Packungen, obwohl in der Beschreibung ausdrücklich stand, dass man seine eigenen Sachen bitte komplett entsorgen soll. Die Fotos unten sind von dem Zustand bei Bezug des Hauses, dort ist nichts von uns abgebildet. Die Dunstabzugshaube war defekt und wurde während unserer Zeit auch nicht repariert. Die Spülmaschine war ebenfalls nicht in Ordnung, es trat durchgehend Schaum aus, angeblich, weil die Voreigentümer dort Spüli eingefüllt hatten. Im Badezimmer stand alles voll mit angebrochenen Shampoo Flaschen. Auch da war nicht geputzt. Es gab ein Küchenhandtuch und das war dreckig. Man hat also eigentlich kein Haus zur alleinigen Benutzung gemietet, sondern eine Mitbenutzung neben den Eigentümern. Es war, als käme man in einen fremden Haushalt. Das hat sehr gestört. Wir haben die mangelnde Sauberkeit und das andere reklamiert, aber Abhilfe wurde nicht angeboten. Wir haben also erst einmal selber geputzt. Am letzten Abend kam dann das Angebot, eine Flasche Sekt aus dem Schrank entnehmen zu dürfen. Darauf haben wir dann dankend verzichtet. Es gab pro Person ein Handtuch, und als wir nach Tüchern für die Sauna fragten, wurde uns gesagt, wir sollen die Sauna ohne Handtücher benutzen. Für uns unvorstellbar.
• Arham (9/5): For the price, this stay was amazing, the atmosphere and facilities of the property were everything you would ever need. - This property was honestly just magical. Photos do not justify how amazing this place was when staying here. It’s a quiet area, and the living room has large windows that show the outside trees and woods which is truly spectacular. The kitchen was great and had many basic necessities such as oil and spices, also being equipped with all sorts of kitchenware. The washing machine was great and was able to thoroughly wash and completely dry clothes within 2 hours. Although the location was peaceful and quiet, it was really inconvenient as the city centre Levi was an hours walk away but only six minutes by car. There are ski busses that start 10 minutes walk from the property that can take you to the city centre but timings of the ski busses are inconvenient and also costly. Taking a taxi there cost us 20 euros each time just going to the city centre. This location would be great if you have rented a car, otherwise be prepared to spend a lot of money just on commute
• Normunds (9/5): We absolutely enjoyed the one week stay in this property! Strongly recommend it to large family! - Very convenient location (just 5-7 min from Levi ski park and city centre) with comfortable parking. 2 toilets is perfect setup for large family (or 2 families). Hot sauna after winter activities guarantees the best feeling and relaxation. Cosy fireplace adds even more positive emotions to your stay! Everyone should go to sleep approximately the same time, as the noise isolation between rooms is good but not perfect.
• Fabian (10/5): Absolutely recommend! - Very modern and clean accommodation. Location is great, views out of the house are amazing. Comfortable bedrooms, enough space for everyone. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and living room with a little fireplace for cozy and warm evenings. Bathroom including two rain showers and even a sauna, which we really enjoyed. Two toilets in two separate rooms. The owner was very kind, he even asked if everything would be okay and if the house is warm enough during our stay. We all would come back at any time! 😊 Nothing
