- Mayka (4/5): Disappointing - Close to the main vicinity Checked in with booking.com, confirmed and paid in advance. Upon arriving the host/owner kept trying to get a “cleaning fee” of 3000 peso deposited through GCash and bank deposit. Kept messaging if no reply, went on about bedding needs to be washed for the next guest, I need to pay. I said to contact the company if not happy with their contract, not the customers. She said I would be in trouble if I did not pay. I contacted customer service they said it’s not stated anywhere for customers to pay any additional fees outside of booking.com Host then continued to message stating aircon bills, and laundry fees and not happy that I followed booking.com policy and not her own policy. Just makes me think how many people have fallen for this scam
