- Purdon (5/5): It was sketchy! - The complimentary breakfast doesn't exist. The note on the door says breakfast room but when my boyfriend walked in it was dark and had a major step down. It was nothing but a construction zone with no warning on the door. The smoke detector was in a drawer, a wasp fell from the hole in the ceiling where the smoke detector had been removed from. There was shady wiring to a light switch that turned on the power to a TV and power bar. The wiring was visible and partially covered in electric ttape. The bathroom door doesn't close. Had to use a garbage can against the door to keep it closed.
- Paula (4/5): It was priced right good location and rooms were spacious. If staying bring your own hair dryer - Location was good, the bed was clean and the room spacious. we could not get any football on live TV or any of the other stations. We attempted streaming however it did not work. The TV remote batteries were almost dead, and there was stains on the toilet bowel, and floor under the sink was not clean, looked like it had been leaking. There was no hair dryer provided so I could not shower before heading to my destination. No hair dryer
Dead batteries in the remote
No internet connection although we connected to wifi.

- James (9/5): Pleasant people and comfy bed - Friendly people and clean Trying to sort out why I got billed twice for same room , once by booking.com and once by the motel itself and seemed to have been charged twice for a deposit and no refund . We are in the process of trying to get it sorted out . Waiting for a return phone call from Princess Motel

- Mary Anne (10/5): - Second stay at this motel. Lovely room. When I needed help to figure out the tv stations staff was there right away. Very comfortable. Nice spot at the back to sit with the dogs at a picnic table. Will be back again. Nothing
- Jody (6/5): Old motel with standard accomodations. Ok for the occassional short stay. - What breakfast? There was none. Rooms were cold. Took a long time to heat up. Cupboards and drawers need a thorough cleaning. Additional blankets for beds would be helpful. Having the parking lot looked after, plowed and sanded, would be helpful. Trouble getting in and out.

- feng (6/5): - convenience noisy, washroom shower head broken, no tower hanger.
- feng (8/5): - it's a new renovation, Furniture is nice, bed is comfortable.
- Andrew (6/5): It has it's ups and downs...........more downs unfortunately. Overall........... 2.5/5 stars - The location is great, close to everything that you need. Walking distance to everywhere Our room was a fair size, but not adequate for a lot of reasons. The king bed is 3 steps up away from the living area, the jacuzzi tub is not easy to get you and is separate from the actual bathroom. The shower is in the jacuzzi tub which makes it difficult to keep the floor dry when showering. The carpet in the entire room is covered in stains that appear to have been there for a long time. And finally, the only source of heat is an electric fireplace that takes forever to warm the room. Oh, one last thing, if using the fireplace, you have to turn it off before using the microwave or coffee maker which gives the impression of poor electrical

- Lise (6/5): - The beds were very comfortable. We got some fruit from the breakfast but didn't stay for more as we needed to get on the road.
The room was equipped with a fridge and microwave that we appreciated.
The bathroom is in need of some updates and finishing touches.
- Michael (3/5): Never again - Next Time I sleep in the Car - The bed was comfortable, and the location was quiet. (There is nothing - nothing - around the motel to make any noise.) The motel is on Main Street. It is virtually the only thing on Main Street. There is nothing nearby. This was the weirdest place we have ever stayed. We were given the so-called Honeymoon Suite - a cause for divorce if I ever saw one. There was a full-size Sauna in the suite - a real sauna. A grungy 2-piece bathroom, with a separate shower room/whirlpool tub that opened directly onto the living room - no shower curtain, no door. There was no heat - we eventually figured out how to turn on the fake electric fireplace. The front desk clerk could not speak English. The office reeked of curry. We didn't even try the "free breakfast". Booking this place was one of the great travel mistakes of my life. Plus it was WAY overpriced - should be charging $ 50 instead of $ 226. Oh - did I mention the skylight right above the bed? No sleeping in.
- Darryl (8/5): - Ok
- Pam (8/5): - Quick check-in. Good, quiet location. Well stocked breakfast panty.
- Vuk W (6/5): - Bathroom is dated and needs an overhaul. Otherwise, it works for a 1 night stay.
- Baiba (10/5): - My overnight stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Check in was quick and friendly. My room was spacious (King bed) with some kitchen amenities (cutlery, but no plates/bowls) which was OK, given I was able to improvise. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave and bar fridge were quite handy in use. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental style with bagels, wraps, cereal and fresh fruit offered in a room under construction, but a wonderful way to start the day. Staff were friendly. I would stay again as location is walkable to town, but in a quieter and more green space location..
- Doug (6/5): - Some bathroom fixtures were broken and the caulking wasn't adhering to the wall around the tub.
Electric covers missing. Afraid to use the shower for safety reasons.
- Sandra (7/5): - Great location
People were nice
- Deborah (8/5): -
- Monique (1/5): Plus jamais!
- Cassandra (6/5): -
- Joe (10/5): - Place is not new but clean and comfortable and friendly service with a good continental breakfast.
- Sheila (10/5): - Excellent stay
- Bonnie (10/5): - The building is doing renovations so a little messy and unfinished. The place all needs painting
- Yen M. (6/5): - The good: motel was conveniently located. The bad: 1) the a/c did not work properly in the room. 2) Their whole Indian family (10+) was in the small breakfast room taking all the tables, counter space and toaster for a long period of time. Therefore the paying customers left and had to come back when they left. This happened everyday that i was there.
- Mandy (10/5): - We stayed for one night. Property was dog friendly.i would stay again if i came back to the area.
- ALEXIS (8/5): -
- john (10/5): - comfortable and convenient to central Bobcaygeon
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Lisa (4/5): - First got there and the room was very hot, they hadn’t put the air con on and it was hot out. The toilet leaks. Bathroom door doesn’t fully shut closed. The shower looked like it was in diar need of replacing, when in the shower if someone from a different unit used water you’d get freezing water or scalding water in your shower. No fan in bathroom. The electrical is horrifying, extension cords wired together, fridge, coffee maker and microwave all plugged into a lamp and then plugged in. If you turn a light switch off the tv went off. Ran out of toilet paper the last night and there was no extras in the room, no house keeping services to check on the tp status or clean out your garbages. Just very disappointing and really quite a safety issue.
- Justin (10/5): - Renovations are very nice
- RANDY (8/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Susan (7/5): -
- Jeff (7/5): Not a bad stay in Bobcaygeon - Nice room although a bit dated. New tv. Old AC unit. So some things being updated. Nice sauna in the room. Room not made up after first night. WiFi was very poor in the room.
- Peter (8/5): - The manager was very nice, hard-working, and readily available. It was great for us as we wanted easy access to Bobcaygeon shopping and restaurants. It could definitely use some updating. There was lots of food available for the breakfast.
- William (8/5): - This was a fairly safe and quiet place, except in the evening we've we could hear everyone gathered around the community fire from our bathroom. Not the biggest of issues but not what I really wanted to listen and hear.
Could use a little more parking but I think the issue was the various jeeps with trailers taking up more space than they should. Otherwise parking was really good.
Beds were comfy and soft, very clean. The AC was weak and didn't really cool the room down, just kept the room at a comfortable temperature related to outside.
Really nice large smart TV. Make watching movies and shows easy and convenient.
Overall this was a nice little motel, and it was only 15 minutes from our LARP site that had an event going on at. Made for returning for cool showers midday and being able to stay on site later or sleep in nice since we were really close and could afford the time.
Would definitely be willing to stay here again in the future.
- george (6/5): - The property was clean but only gave 3 star overall because of the $200 deposit at check in for only one night
- Herpsime (6/5): - All in all you get what you pay for.
- steven (6/5): - typical small motel. Good value
- Henrietta (6/5): - For the price of the room, we found it too expensive.
The lady who waited on us was very hard to understand..we needed her to repeat things twice.
The room was clean but dated. We turned off the main lights and the tv which we were going to watch also shut off.
We have stayed in far cheaper places but more modern conditions. I realize it was the long weekend and prices usually get jacked up.
The breakfast room was not at all appealing!!! It could use a major update.
The steps going up to our room was so full of cobwebs, i dont think it had been swept in a long time.
- Eileen (7/5): Good -
- Cesar (10/5): - Very convenient location and very friendly staff who helped us with requests such as extra pillows and towels, and even one unusual service request we had.
The neighbour next door was extra loud, but it was not the hotel's fault.
- Heather (6/5): Pleasant - It was ok, ran out of coffee the first morning. But figured out how to make more The plug in for the TV and light wasn’t working. Had to figure out another way to work them. Did tell the older man about it.
- Robin (8/5): Affordable family motel - It looks like they are trying to update things. The rooms were nice with newer flooring and bed covers. The bathroom needs some updating with disintegrating grout and some mould on the curtain. For breakfast, there was lots of fruit choice, yogurt and cereals. I had emailed and received no response because I am gluten free. There was enough choice for me, thankfully. The rest of my family enjoyed the bagels and banana bread.
- Carol (9/5): Superb -
- Nancy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jamaica (10/5): - So good!
- Erika (5/5): The room was ok for the price and location. - It was a 9 minute walk to all the restaurants and the main street and waterway. The owner could not communicate very well, and parts of the building looked run down.
- Trudell (9/5): Superb -
- Ana (10/5): - The beds were very comfortable.
- Catharine (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - The room was like a hotel room but it was motel. Friendly hosts. Highly recommend this motel. We will stay here again.
- Fiona (8/5): - Lovely motel. People who own it were very friendly
- Elizabeth (6/5): - They are obviously working on property but lots to be done. Staff very kind. Air conditioning did not work at all. Wall unit with extension cord hanging from wall, not safe.
- Essa (1/5): Bad -
- GLORIA (6/5): - It was clean. Disappointed the continental breakfast was in an unfinished room.
- Sharon (7/5): Good - Location Checkin
- Sheri (7/5): We were aware that the rooms were under updating and were over all pleased with our stay. - Did not use the breakfast. It was located close to our room though. The mattress and bedding was new and comfortable. The air conditioning kept us cool on a very hot day. The bathroom, shower specifically, could use a deep clean and updating.
- Gary (2/5): - Broken glass on floor, pubic hair in the tub, hair in the bed, dripping faucets, tv kept losing signal, soap dish in shower full of old soap scum, moldy shower curtain , A/C is very loud, mirror very streaky, dirty everywhere, very dusty furniture, noisy as hell from people above walking. The person at check in doesn't understand English, he had to call his son to translate, I was still given the wrong room. Finally got the right room but it is very substandard and dirty.
- Peggy (6/5): - Our room was very old , things didn’t work (taps, power, outlets). Really needs updating and maintenance.
- Jennifer (5/5): Great location but not clean. Renovated rooms but lacked cleanliness. - Great location a very short walk from downtown. Poor cleanliness. Bathroom was not clean. Towels looked stained. There were someone else’s leftovers in the fridge.
- Susan (6/5): - It is right near Kawartha Dairy
- Mayra (6/5): Okay - OK for one night. Floor needed sweeping. Shower did not work well. Too much furniture and big box in the room.
- KEVIN (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would certainly recommend.
- Doug (6/5): - It was an OK stay.
- Vicki (10/5): - For an economy motel, it was a great value!! We walked downtown for dinner and appreciated the comfy beds.
- Katherine (10/5): - Nicely renovated rooms.
- Larry (8/5): - A bit dated but clean and comfortable beds.
- Sheila (8/5): Very good -
- Mason (10/5): - There was a festival in Bobcaygeon and we booked a room here. It was a surprisingly good experience.
- Sharon (8/5): - Very clean and quiet. Still use actual keys to unlock the door.
- Mrs Glenys (2/5): - Derek the manager was very professional.
We actually paid for room but didn’t stay in the room. We left and drove 21/2 hours back home at 9.00pm at night.Chesterfield looked very old, the shower and bathtub needed up grading. Non smoking room but it smelt of smoke maybe because there was a table and chair outside the unit.
- Lisa (6/5): - Property was clean and looked like they had upgraded the mattress and some of the furniture. It’s in a great location, just a short walk to town. Arrived at 230 and office said open but was locked. Checkin time was for 3pm so we came back around 310. Door still locked doorbell didn’t work, had to pound on the door, finally someone came out of the back to help us. Tried to return the key this morning and same thing, office said open but no one was there so we left the key in the room.
- Gord (6/5): - The tv didnt work..it was otherwise fine but nothing stood out as great
- Verified traveler (4/5): Sad, but safe - Well, this was probably the most run down motel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Where to begin ... no 2nd lock on the main door, bathroom door didn't close, duct tape holding things together in the shower, mug stuck with something sticky to the top of the microwave, linoleum peeling in the bathroom, could hear all the noise from neighbouring rooms, the main office smelled of weed, etc etc etc. HOWEVER, the room had quiet radiant electric heating which was lovely, and at no time did we feel unsafe. The price should have been much less than the $135 + tax charged.
- Sue (8/5): Very good -
- Par (5/5): Passable - bed was very comfortable Waited 45mins for someone to come to the door so we could register for our room. Outside was full of old furniture and very ghetto feeling. Room was pretty good.. fairly clean but very 50's .
Bathroom ha lots of debris under the vanity and around the t
- Chris (10/5): 10 - Vary good happy and clean
- Robert (8/5): - Although under renovation, was still clean and tidy room.
Quiet area.
Guest service was friendly and polite and accommodating.
Will definitely book there again.
- Robert (8/5): - Clean and quiet winter setting. Easy access to any local attractions and shopping. Rooms are spacious and clean.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (8/5): Very good -
- Brenda (8/5): - Friendly service.
- brittany (10/5): - We checked in later the expected but check in was a breeze. The rooms are big and clean. Having hot water was amazing not alot of hotels/motels have hot wster. The only thing i didn't like was our neighbors for reasons but all and all it was a great stay
- Casandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boby (10/5): - Really good place and ambience. Very calm and quiet place
- Robert (8/5): - Quiet area. Friendly staff and service. Clean spacious rooms.
- Trevor (10/5): - Nice
- Mary (10/5): - Nice clean quiet room.
- Steven (8/5): - Our hockey team enjoyed the experience. A small, quiet, neat motel. NO issues. Derrick at front desk was very kind and attentive and helped me book going the extra mile to help under stressful circumstances of a lack of motel rooms available in the area for the tournament.
Overall, very satisfactory. No complaints.
- Portia (10/5): - Management was super nice and very helpful!! Only thing I recommend is getting a room on the second floor so you avoid the footsteps of the people above! 10/10 would stay again!
- Mohinder (8/5): Very good -
- Doug (5/5): Passable - Room looked like it was in the middle of renovations. in the one cabinet, we went to put our belongings in, there were about 15 outlet plates for the wall. Toilet not stable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very quiet location
