- John (10/5): We enjoyed our short stay. - The location was good and convenient for the village. The bungalow was clean and well equipped.
- Bill (10/5): Lovely ‘definitely use again - Closeness to family , space
- John (10/5): Superb bungalow, ideal for small family in gorgeous location - Superb location, easy parking, wonderful views, clean, well equipped and very spacious Nothing to dislike

- its me (9/5): Loved it and will be back - Everthing. It was so clean and spotless. The hive heating would not go above 17. I have hive heating so i think it was set to that. It was a bit chilly at times. It did however have an electric fire in the livingroom so it wasn’t that big a deal.
- Fasola (8/5): -
- Lily (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very comfortable for a stay in Lochgoilhead
- George (9/5): Great -
- James (9/5): Amazing stay in a stunning part of Scotland - The property was excellent. Great location looking over the river and a few hundred yards to the waterfront. Garden was excellent. Plenty of space front and back.
The property had everything and more inside the property.
Will definitely go back at sometime. Lochgoilhead is a stunning place. The scenery is up there with the best in Scotland. Can't fault it
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (9/5): Very good - This property was well maintained and had lovely spacious bedrooms, lounge has sky tv is a little bit dated but clean, kitchen and bathroom were also very clean, I would definitely recommend this property The house is a little further back in the village which was fine for me but my 86yr old dad struggled with this
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Gordon (5/5): For 2 people is expensive would stay again but not this property - Liked the location nice views when you are at the lochside Leek under the sink not resolved and carpet smelling had to keep window open and the midges covered in bites
- Lynne (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the places we visited Inveraray is a "Go to MUST see". - The place was clean neat and tidy for our arrival, it has everything you need including a hoover, their was 4 of us, all adults (2 couples) I had family visiting from Canada and we were up in Scotland visiting my son & family in Helensburgh for a long weekend attending the Grandchildren's "Grand Day at QVS school" in Dunblane.
It certainly wasn't the easiest place to be located but once there you can enjoy the beauty of the area, it really is a place of "Stunning Views" the journey into the area once leaving the main A road is really beautiful with so many beautiful places to visit too. Go prepared with food essential's etc as there's really no where to shop in the immediate vicinity.
The Loch Goilhead holiday village is about a 10-15 minute walk from the property where we had dinner on the 1st night and breakfast on the 1st morning, we would definitely recommend a visit there.
The kitchen is fully kitted out for all cooking requirements very much home from home they have thought of everything,
I don't think you would get 6 around the table though, the beds were really comfortable along with so much drawer and wardrobe space (you dont get this in a hotel room) this was a real bonus, the lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and the sky TV was a bonus too. Whoever fills the place with potpourri prior to arrival please STOP the place smelt really very old and musty it really wasn't a nice welcoming smell honestly, the smell remained throughout our visit.
Don't be misled thinking your going to see stunning views from this property as your not, the views from the front windows (Lounge and 2 bedrooms) is of the car parking area to the front and other bungalows and from the back windows the view is of the garden and from the fence outside you can see the river below, the whole area is very heavily wooded so the midges are a real problem just getting from the car into the house we were swarmed by them and bitten up to hell, a week after returning home I'm still covered in bites, I did buy the local Scottish made repellent along with the bite cream unfortunately I guess their immune to it!!!!
The host / owner did leave a written message telling us NOT to open the windows due to the midges, so we certainly didnt have windows open but still they got in, so we can only imagine how uncomfortable it would be on warm evenings. (Maybe air con would stop them) Personally we would definitely not visit Scotland during the Midge season again.
- Moffat (10/5): Exceptional - Location and all the comforts you need. The facilities were great and there was a good hot shower.
- Aileen (9/5): Superb -
- Small (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location with stunning scenery. Fantastic walks and you're surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking views.
Host was very helpful and accommodated our 3 dogs.
- Myra (10/5): Happy family - We liked everything about Stunning views .The location was lovely and it was a very relaxing environment.Everything in the house met our needs making our couple of days away very enjoyable .Getting up in the morning and seeing the lovely views out each window was wonderful and made us feel very chilled .😊 Nothing to dislike .We were extremely happy 😊
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (9/5): Superb - The beds were comfy. There was plenty of room for all in the living room. The TV comes with full sky package including movies which was good option for evening after a long day out exploring. The location was perfect for walking up to the waterfall. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery, cups, pots, pans etc and there was a lovely box of shortbread on the table on arrival. The 2 pronged plug in the bathroom for charging electric toothbrush didn't work. That was the only complaint of our stay.
- Mary (9/5): Superb - The house was well equipped with everything you'd find in a home. 3 bedrooms with double beds that were very comfortable. Sky TV. A 5 min walk into the village. Parking right outside for more than one car. Nothing
- Tessa (8/5): Very good - Very clean, had all we needed, good value for money Dated decor, limited space at dining table.
- Arindam (10/5): Very good experience - Clean and sensibly decorated Small dinner table
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Wonderful views. Neighbours were nice and friendly. We really appreciated the owner finding us a lady to look after our dog while we went to a wedding. A lovely lady with a lovely family. SatNav directions were unhelpful, sending us up dirt tracks rather than keeping us on the road. It should be emphasised that when arriving in Lochgoilhead, people should stay on the road and ignore SatNav instructions.
- Joanne (10/5): A comfortable and relaxing holiday home, surrounded by nature. - The property was in a beautiful location, easy access to walks. Clean, comfortable and spacious.
- Rebecca (10/5): Great base for exploring the lochs - We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The house and garden are immaculate. The bedrooms are comfortable and the living-room was great for a cosy movie night. 8 burner hob is a bonus!
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clair (1/5): horrible photos are attached - this property looked great in photos and host was very easy to use and available on the phone it was invested by miggies and there was no fans or air con so the heat was unbearable as if we opened the the windows the miggies were taking over the full cottage literally everywhere it was one of the worse experiences we have ever had we had to decide on the kids being dangerously hot or bit alive and crying because of them everywhere. the bath had came out with lots of mud from the bubbles but I don’t know what it was or the last time it was cleaned but my daughter had a fever and illness the week following and she was the only one that used the bath and not shower also there is no view you have a car park in front of your windows or bundle of trees at the back nothing to see at all
- Kate (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer! - Lovely, spacious and clean accommodation in a beautiful spot - thank you! Nothing!
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Graham (9/5): Can’t wait to go back - 2nd time we have stayed here and can highly recommend. 5 minutes walk to the pub/ restaurant as well as the local shop. BBQ and bikes available at the property so ideal for families to stay
- Caroline (9/5): Worked perfectly for the purpose of our visit. - The property was lovely, extremely well appointed with all we needed to cook breakfast. Very good use of space, each room had plenty of wardrobes and drawers. Lounge was so comfortable and good internet and television choices. Perfect for preparing to attend wedding at nearly Carrick Castle. We had visions of sitting admiring views of the Loch rather than the road in front of the house. Woodland views out the back of the property were nice though.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning holiday home- very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kids (and us) didn’t want to leave…
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (8/5): Great 3 day stay in beautiful bungalow. - Bungalow was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Ideally located in Lochgoilhead village, 5 minutes walk to the Goil Inn. lovely back garden, stunning views, fully equipped, great central heating, shower. Just lovely. nothing
- Lorna (10/5): excellent location, house was lovely. The host was contactable, helpful - the house was in a great location, walking distance to village.
the house was clean and the enclosed garden was great for the dog.
- Neale (10/5): We had a really great time relaxing in the tranquil surroundings and this superb property; fully recommended - A very well presented property throughout, with high quality additional facilities - large TV with Sky & Netflix etc, fully equipped kitchen and jacuzzi bath. The table and chairs in the kitchen take up a little too much space. A cloakroom toilet would’ve made it perfect.
- Graham (10/5): Will definitely book again - Very clean property and everything you need. ideal location. Just a 7 minute walk to the pub/ restaurant
