Guest Reviews
- Colleen (10/5): The hotel was so clean and fresh! The young lady that helped me was absolutely so lovely and helped me in every way! She - So clean!! It was so close to all the restaurants and arena that I needed to go to. Parking was convenient!
- Erika (9/5): - Bedside lamp would be nice
- Dianne (10/5): perfect stay - perfect stay and the facility is newly renovated making our stay worthwhile nothing everything is perfect
- noel (6/5): - Bathroom was dirty and no coffee maker
- James (7/5): Lovely renovated units right close to highway and an excellent pub, the Blue Ox Pub. - Recently renovated. Very clean. No pots or dishes in kitchenette. You must bring your own pots and dishes if you wish to cook anything.
- Gail (7/5): - Convient location. Early checkin was allowed. No coffee!
- Bryan (5/5): Okay - Good location No closet or hooks to hang clothes and could have been cleaner. Fridge froze everything.
- Debra (1/5): Never got to stay, reservations - First, there was no one around. Gave a phone# to call. I don’t own a phone. Then my reservation didn’t out, they were full. Told me to go 10 min. down the road and we had never been to town before. Here they sent us was quit dirty, but th bed was comfortable

- Greg (7/5): A lovely refurbished room with filthy floors. Our stay could have easily been so much better. - The room size was surprisingly good and the bathroom was lovely. The kitchen was well designed and great use of space. Handy to have access to the outside balcony and parking not a problem. The bed was comfy and the small country town was very quiet over night. The floors were disgusting and need a thorough clean - I needed to wash my feet before getting into bed. The kitchen was poorly equipped - we needed to request cutlery, a tea towel and a dish clothe. It was frustrating to not have anyone at reception when we arrived or left - just a phone number to ring - which doesn't help when you don't have a Canadian phone.
- Challis (7/5): -
- Reuben (5/5): -
- bruce (6/5): Nice new furnishings. Not happy overall. Needs lock fixed on door and card system activated. - Didn’t know there was any breakfast. The location was handy however my roof faced a busy and noisy street and I had asked for a quiet location. No trash bucket in the room and no bedside table.
- robert (1/5): - Not much. Started by rude staff at check in. Then I was told I had to put down a $200 deposit. I refused and said to cancel my booking. Then deposit was waved.
Then no one was around the whole time to address any concerns. There was two phone numbers to call, but just went to voicemail with no response. Coffee pot had a hole in it and could never get ahold of anyone so went with no coffee in morning.
Basically was treated like a suspected criminal was the feeling I got. Horrible vibes, avoid at all costs.
- Thomas (8/5): Clean and least expensive stay in N Okanagan - Tidy and efficient set up Bathroom sink quickly clogged

- Robert (10/5): Good Hotel - location convenient the rooms were clean. not enough supplies in the kitchenette. It could have had a lot more utensils, cutlery, dishes and glasses/cups.
We couldn't access the dresser because the location of the bed.
- Shannon (8/5): Clean. Not staffed - It was good except we could hear the gym downstairs from our room. Gym weights hitting the floor.

- Nicolás Brown (10/5): Nice stay for 2 nights in Lumby -
- Claire (7/5): - Showers from top to bottom needed a cleaning.
- Zbigniew (10/5): very good. will be back - very friendly nice and clean place.
- Kimberly (5/5): - The motel seemed fairly new and was quite clean. Our room had a small kitchenette with fridge, stove etc. Lumby itself is small but very pretty and located only 20 minutes from Vernon and Lake Kalamalka. Despite having a reservation and arriving within the stated check-in window (8:45pm) there was no staff available. We called the contact number and were initially told it would be a 30 minute wait. The owner/manager later called back and said it would be over an hour but gave us access to a smaller room to use while waiting. The gesture was appreciated after a 7 hour drive but the fact that we didn't have access to our room until after 10pm was disappointing.
- Wendy (9/5): Would stay there again - A little traffic noise but it was fine
- nepal (8/5): -
- Barb (5/5): Nice - Clean and new It was odd that no one was ever at front desk. It took 45 min to find someone.
- Joanne (8/5): Definitely worth the stay and has a great price as well. - This is a great place to stay for a great price. The location is perfect as you are close to everything.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel looks great as it was just recently renovated. It seemed fairly clean at a glance but then I noticed a couple of old brown spots on the toilet seat (possibly poo) but definitely not something you want to see. The floor was either really stained or else just not washed, I ended up keeping my shoes on.
This wouldn't be a reason for me not to stay at this hotel but it would have been really nice to have a smart TV in the room so I could have access to Netflix & Prime as there is never anything to watch on local cable. They did put flat screens in the newly renovated rooms but there was literally not much to watch on the basic cable.
