• Alexandru (2/5): - Pozitionarea in oras. O camera de cca 9 mp, cu tot cu toaleta de 1,5 m care era chiar sub scara, motiv pentru care nu puteam sta in picioare in fata wc-ului. In baie este mucegai si nu are aerisire naturala. Un ventilator scoate mirosul din camera pe holul hotelului. A fost murdara, uitasera pe sub chiuveta gunoiul de la alti musafiri. Camera nr 9 este la parter cu o fereastra direct in strada chiar langa spital. Foarte zgomotos, fara intimitate, fara posibilitatea de a schimba camera cu alta desi eram dispusi sa platim si intr un sezur de 10 nopti sigur se eliberasera alte camere. Nu recomand nici pe termen foarte scurt
• Guest (9/5): - De locatie was erg goed. Het gebouw is wat verouderd, maar wel heel schoon. Het personeel, met name Bibek, heeft mij uitstekend opgevangen. Binek was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

El apartamento es muy pequeñito, necesitaba estar dentro de la ducha si quería peinarme frente al espejo y está totalmente a pie de calle lo cual lo hacía un poco ruidoso pero esto es Estambul! ;-)

• Evangelos (1/5): A disappointing stay due to misleading photos and not receiving the room I booked. - Unfortunately, the photos on the listing were misleading. The room I received was not the same as the one shown in the pictures when I made the booking. This was disappointing, as I expected to stay in the room I had selected. I booked this accommodation for a work trip, specifically choosing a room based on the photos and options shown on Booking.com — including a desk, which I needed for my laptop and work. The room I selected was clearly shown in the listing, with distinctive features like red accents and a small workspace. When I arrived, the room was not ready, and I was told to wait. I came back later, but was told again it wasn’t ready, apparently because someone else was still in it. Eventually, I was given a completely different room — not the one I had booked. The room was extremely small, looked like it had been converted from a basement or under-the-stairs space, with barely any natural light, just a bed and a tiny kitchenette. The bathroom was extremely cramped, had poor drainage, and there was a lot of dampness and humidity. When I pointed out that this wasn’t the room I had booked, I was told that the room I selected would be available the next day. I checked it — it was indeed the one I had originally booked — but the next day I was told it was no longer available due to another booking. I contacted Booking to request either to be moved to the correct room or to receive a full refund, but neither happened. I received only a partial credit, which did not reflect the inconvenience or the incorrect service I received. Very disappointing and misleading experience overall.

Theres some noice from outside, but it didn't bother me. I would definitely return, if i have the chance. Im satisfied.

Other things: soap dispenser was empty, hard to wash my face because of strange structure of washroom etc... I don't think it's worth staying for the price.

My bed duvet had a hole burn by a cigarette. The doors were not in the best condition, and the additional furniture as well. The kitchen stove was dirty and the power plugs were dirty. The windows were not silent proof.
• Osman (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it! This was one of the most affordable places we found in Istanbul, especially considering the great location — right in Cihangir, just a short walk from Taksim. Super convenient for exploring the city, with lots of cafes and shops nearby. The room is very small, and the bathroom is quite tight — definitely not a place to hang out for hours. But if you’re mostly out and about and just need a quiet, warm, comfortable place to sleep, shower, and recharge, it’s perfect. There’s hot water, AC, heating — everything you need. A big shout-out to a guy named Bibek who was super helpful and kind. He helped us with everything and really made the stay more comfortable. Overall, if you’re visiting Istanbul for the weekend and want a budget-friendly spot close to the center, this is a great choice. I’d happily stay here again.

• Luis (2/5): This place shouldn't be on Booking – Misleading and unacceptable - The accommodation is relatively close to Taksim Square. The photos are misleading. There is only one bedroom with a double bed, while the other three beds are in the kitchen. The narrow staircase leading to the apartment was always dirty, cluttered with trash bags, large sacks of dirty laundry, cleaning product containers, and had a terrible smell, making it unpleasant, messy, and unsafe to use. The bathroom was in very poor condition, with mold in the shower and a completely rusted shower caddy. Interior doors were broken and patched with tape, and many curtains were damaged, barely hanging from one side. The apartment is located directly in front of a hospital emergency area, so every night was filled with the noise of horns, sirens, and even people yelling. The heating could not be adjusted and was stuck at maximum, making the apartment unbearably hot. The only way to cool it down was by opening the windows, but that wasn’t an option at night due to the constant noise, making it feel like sleeping in a sauna. The kitchenware was insufficient for five people—there wasn’t even a single mug. The tiny fridge barely cooled, and the dishwasher was filled with stagnant, foul-smelling water. Additionally, there was only a small table with two rusted chairs, which was far from adequate. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

Don't follow Google Maps directions, just walk down the street from Taksim Square and cut through the otopark. Bibek is very helpful and saw to our very need. Also helped us arrange a VIP airport transfer at a fair price. Many local eateries nearby that locals go to. Kumbasar Firini has nice bread at a very low price. Overall, extremely good value for money! Bedroom was soundproof but the living room was not too good for light sleepers. Hot water for shower works but can be erratic.

• Hassen (3/5): Poor - My experience with this hotel was very unsuccessful in many ways. the sheets are torn. the toilet is very narrow, you can't sit down to relieve yourself, because the sink is attached to the toilet. Also, money was taken from my room without giving me a receipt. Every day, the hotel employees gather on the ground floor and talk loudly, so I can't calm down. I really don't recommend this place at all.

There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the room, and Taksim metro station was within walking distance. The room was clean, and had basic facilities. Good value for money for the city center. The room was a little small. (Of cource, I understand that a larger room in this area requires more cost.) The heat exchanger (back) of the fridge was not covered and a little dangerous. Shower temperature was unstable.
• Andrei (10/5): Exceptional - I really liked the apartment so much that I wanted to return to it, so I will describe it in more detail. For these three days, I had a great room in the coolest area of Istanbul, and it greatly brightened up the overall impression of the trip Although the main attractions are located on the other side of the Golden Horn, I am glad that I stayed in this part of the city. You can get to famous mosques and ancient monuments in a few minutes by a good modern tram, and it is better to live away from the crowds of organized groups of tourists. The Taksim area where I accidentally booked this room turned out to be "of course, the main tourist attraction of Istanbul". In contrast to the "historical" part of the city, this area is a youth area, the narrow streets of the old town are beautifully decorated, it is pleasant to walk there both during the day and late in the evening. Graffiti of various kinds adorn the walls, there are many outdoor cafes and lofts in a characteristic style, garlands and lighting of cafes and restaurants are lit at night, there are always enough people on the streets, and everyone speaks English. The owner of the apartment said that he had finished the renovation in my room two hours before check-in, so everything is new and clean. The room is small, but everything is there – air conditioning, a good bed, a normal-sized bathroom and good wi-fi. I put my low-power electric stove on so the room was just right for one. The room is located on the ground floor on a narrow street in the old town, most of all I like to go from the street almost directly to my home. I would have spent all these months in Turkey, it's a pity I don't have 30 euros a day for housing. a couple of plates or bowls would be a great addition, so guests can wash and eat the fruits.

Moreover, I liked the friendly staff especially Vicky, became a good friend of mine. For a short stay with economic price this hotel is recommended. For getting exact location of this hotel, it is recommended first to reach out to owner then follow the address direction. Peace out!
