• Waldron (8/5): - It was clean neat and professional and have us eat access to visit our friends who live nearby in East Melbourne As a couple visiting it would have been good to have a second chair for us to be able to sit together and have chairs and a little table outside to sit and have a nice wine etc

• Rosemary (8/5): - I loved everything about this hotel facility wise. The house keeping staff were amazing and accommodating. Rooms comfortable and stocked with everything you need. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately there is 2 things that soured our stay. We ate in the all you can eat buffet one night. Food was tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately the staff failed to control the children. They were running around tables and chairs, but my main problem with them was the way they hung all over the food. Grabbing things with their hands leaving it looking very unappetising. This is a situation that is hard, but strong polite staff need to take control and ask the parents to supervise their children. The last thing is very political. But no the less needs to be addressed. On our last night We were sitting in a lounge foyer designed for hotel guests to use. .My 2 sisters and their husbands and my husband and I. We don't live in the same states and had come together to spread our mother's ashes. We were simply chatting and enjoying each other's company before saying goodbye. A very rude manager came out and asked us why we were there. Were we even hotel guests. She then told us we had to move as she had told some patrons in the buffet that they could use this area to pray before eating. They were not hotel guests. Had we been approached in a polite manner and explain why she needed the space, I wouldn't feel the need to say anything. But she was extremely rude. The area is a no eating or drinking area and we were not doing either.

• Ellen (5/5): Served a purpose - It was clean and in a good location with easy parking No vanity around the sink so nowhere to put your toiletries. Very minimal lighting to apply make up. Shower head was old and water pressure was very disappointing. Could feel the springs in the bed Complimentary breakfast was a sandwich in a bag. Can’t call that breakfast
• Sharon (7/5): My stay was pleasant but a few small improvements would have made it better. A little overpriced. - The room was spacious and the staff were very nice. Car park was right outside the rooms. It was quiet. The room was clean although basic. Breakfast was bread, juice and muffin left in the room which was fine but basic. The TV didn’t work. I didn’t have a balcony as per room description. No shelf in shower or cupboard in bathroom to put toiletries. No staff on reception after 7pm, only staff in the bar or gaming area.

• David (7/5): Convenient and comfortable, but expensive for a basic motel room. - Location was very convenient for my trip. Good room with comfortable bed and large modern TV. Good buffet restaurant at the property. The included breakfast was a couple of small packets of cereal and a small long-life milk. It would have been great to have access to the buffet restaurant for a better / more healthy breakfast (I'm not even sure if the buffet restaurant is open in the mornings).

• Christina (10/5): Amazing Stay. - Our room was absolutely beautiful and so clean and so spacious. We checked in very late at night and the security made the whole process so easy. The security, cleaners and the young kitchen staff were so amazing and helpful and just made this stay perfect. There was one member of your kitchen staff who was extremely rude and presented an attitude when I went to grab a fork during lunch one time. Every time she passed my husband and I she would give us the most unfriendly scowl and it made me very uncomfortable. By far the worst service staff I have had the displeasure of encountering. Even when saying good morning to her in passing on our way out she turned away and ignored us. It was not any of the younger staff, this lady was a bit older and she ruined my dining experience so I can't imagine how she has treated others during their stay as well. I know it can be difficult for anyone to always keep a smile on your face when you're having a bad day but that is no reason to take it out on others around you. Every single other member of your staff was lovely and are the main reason I would still come back here and recommend others do the same. (As long as a certain grumpy service staff member is not there to dampen the mood.) Also my confirmation emails and the website says breakfast included however we learnt when showing up for breakfast that they no longer serve this. Maybe an update on website/email confirmations is required.

• Glenn (7/5): The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. - The booking indicated that I would pay upon arrival, however the hotel charged my cc at 2pm day of arrival. They also charged a $250 security deposit which will not be returned for up to a week ! Not good enough.

In our room, which was advertised as a double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together and it was super uncomfortable. Me and my partner both woke up with sore backs. There was also only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper. It also advertised a continental breakfast, but there was no milk or bead in the room. The shower was ridiculous, it had good pressure but it kept going from extremely hot to extremely cold without touching the taps
