• Melodie (10/5): Lovely, restful stay and I highly recommend this hotel! - Quiet location in the beautiful little village of Arqua Petrarca. Lovely small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! Spacious bathroom and comfortable, but firm, mattress, with nice bed linens. The pool was being cleaned and refilled during my stay, although the weather was still a bit too cold for swimming. Breakfast is not an option, although there is a breakfast/lunch room next to the pool with espresso machine, packaged biscuits/cookies, selection of teas, bottled water & shelf stable milk. The rooms also have a Nespresso-style coffee maker, electric kettle and mini-fridge. There is no market in Arqua Petrarca, so one must go to Monselice to stock up on breakfast provisions.

• Eva-Maria (10/5): Familienurlaub somit war es perfekt!!! - Wunderschönes Haus und schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Auch der Gemeinschaftsraum und der Pool sind wunderbar gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilft gut weiter.

Suggerisco alla proprietà di dividere il corridoio dalla reception alle stanze per evitare di essere disturbati mentre si dorme.

• Michele (9/5): A great place with the plus of the common area that you can use for eating take away food, make some - Location is great, right in the old center, with internal parking. The common area was very useful having kids... a place where they could play games, eat a take-away dinner and even do some homework. nothing really!

Von hier aus kann man die euganäischen Hügel mit den tollen Schlössern und Gärten ideal besuchen. Unser Zimmer hatte keinen Blick, Balkon oder Terrasse ins Tal (war etwas missverständlich in der Ankündigung); aber von der allen Haus-Bewohnern zugänglichen Terrasse/Parkplatz aus konnte man alles sehr schön überblicken. Pool ist wirklich schön.

• Eckhard (9/5): - Modern eingerichtete, qualitativ hochwertige Wohnung in altem Steinhaus; kühler, sauberer Pool in gepflegtem Garten, großzügige Gemeinschaftsräume mit Kaffeemaschine und Snacks (kostenlos). Weder der Vermieter noch sonst jemand spricht auch nur ein Wort Englisch. Es fehlen Möglichkeiten, nasse Handtücher und Kleider aufzuhängen.
• Jens (10/5): Idyllisch gelegene Pension in den Colli Eugeano - Sehr schöne Pension im malerischen Dorf Arqua Petrarca. Toller Pool mit Ausblick ins Tal. Leckeres Frühstück in der nahegelegenen Maxi Bar.
• Pascal (8/5): Goed en best prijzig - De locatie was echt fantastisch. De faciliteiten zijn goed en van het zwembad en de lounge hebben we fijn gebruik van gemaakt. Ook de snacks en de koffie zijn goed. De Maxibar die het ontbijt (niet bij de prijs inbegrepen) is echt uitstekend. De pistache croissant is de beste die ik in mijn leven heb gehad. De prijs kwaliteitsverhouding is matig. De kamers zijn relatief klein. Daarnaast was het wat karig als het gaat om koffie, thee en linnen (beddengoed en handdoeken) in de kamers. Voor drie nachten moesten we het doen met drie koffiecups en drie theezakjes. Voor het verschonen van de handdoeken zouden we €20 bij moeten betalen. Dat vind ik wat gortig.

• Nicole (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf in een schilderachtige plaatsje. - De locatie van Borgo Petrarca en het zwembad, werkelijk schitterend. Heerlijke kamer met mooi balkon, prachtig uitzicht over het mooie stadje Arquà Petrarca. Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en alles werd ons uitgelegd ondanks dat de dame geen Engels sprak begrepen we alles prima! Reden te meer om Italiaans te gaan leren! 😉 Ook de communicatie via whatsapp vooraf met een filmpje over hoe je bij de Borgo komt was zeer helder en plezierig. Heel jammer dat in de prachtige ruimte beneden geen ontbijt wordt geserveerd. We hebben nu ontbeten bij een restaurantje waar Borgo Petrarca een overeenkomst mee heeft. We vonden de kwaliteit van het ontbijt daar niet zo goed.

• Michela (10/5): Relax impagabile - Location, i servizi, il relax assoluto senza orario della piscina e del giardino, la posizione, il parcheggio privato. Gentilezza e discrezione. Se può essere utile e costruttivo sarebbero piacevoli zanzariere, che consentano a chi non ama l'aria condizionata di tenere le finestre aperte, lasciando fuori i fastidiosi insetti estivi, soprattutto le zanzare. Ma è un consiglio assolutamente personale.

• Allan (10/5): Our second stay in this lovely place and hopefully not our last! - This is our second stay here and we hope to come back again. The staff are lovely. The location is wonderful. Bar Maxi for breakfast and lunchtime snacks is good and there are several good local restaurants within walking distance. If you book the room with the balcony as we did, expecting to spend time sitting out there relaxing, you will find a lot of visitors to Arqua looking over your shoulder as they stop to admire the view. This is NOT the fault of the property of course.
• Laura (3/5): Poor - It was clean and the view was wonderful. We had a room w a balcony which had no privacy. The patio was right next to the road where groups of tourists would stop to see the view, look right in our windows, be loud and disturb us. The balcony was right above the alcove where people smoked, wafting onto our balcony and into our room. There is no food on property. You need to walk down a steep hill to a bar for a free breakfast that is embarrassingly sparse. The staff is officious and rude. Aside from a few restaurants in the town there is really very littl to do here. And the GPS got us lost all the time.

• Edward (10/5): A lovely place to stay in a lovely town. - The rooms were very nice and the location was excellent. We had no issues.
• Stephen (8/5): We enjoyed the stay. - Giulia was very friendly and helpful. The location provided a good base for walking in the hills. There were several restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was provided by a local cafe. There were two options but the same each day. It was a good breakfast and the cafe staff were friendly. They gave us a packed meal for the last day because we were leaving early. Facilities near the pool included a kitchen to store and prepare one's own food. The view from our room was of the opposite building's wall and roof. The electrical system was temperamental. Staff were only in attendance between 10:00 to 15:00 on most days. A car was needed to get to a supermarket. The pool was not heated.

• Peter (6/5): Pleasant - The village of Arqua itself. Parking is inconvenient - public car park 10 minutes walk away. The route on foot involves a steep hill with approximately 100 steps. There is ample space at the property for at least 6 cars and there were 3 parked there when we arrived (thought not presumably not belonging to guests). Breakfast location also inconvenient, 5 minutes walk involving a steep hill. The breakfast itself was very good.
• Jean-pierre (8/5): A lovely place, well worth the stay, but the neighbour issue really needs to be dealt with. - A lovely B&B - Giulia was a wonderful help and very kind. We had booked the entire place for family members as we were there for a wedding. Nice rooms, clean, well decorated. Practical location. The owners need to deal with a disgruntled neighbour who dislikes the presence of the B&B there. We were yelled at and blasted with loud music 3/4 of an hour before the evening period started. He made no attempt to communicate. Most regrettable. We also noted that the air conditioning was not as strong as we would have enjoyed.

Hard to say what we liked most: the amazing staff, warm welcome, lovely breakfast at a bar down the street, amazing view from the pool, comfortable room. The village itself is amazing, and we really enjoyed being there for the Calici di Stelle festival, which turned the village into a wine festival.

• Sondra (10/5): AMAZING! Beautiful, peaceful - one of our favorite stays ever - Absolutely beautiful location and hotel. Very clean, stunning views of the town, and amazingly helpful owner and manager who communicated ahead about reservations, how to get there even with pictures and a video of how to find it, etc. Each day we loved eating in the local restaurants, touring the history of the town, and sipping some local wine by the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking town and countryside. We cannot recommend our stay highly enough! Thank you thank you Sandra and Giulia!!!

• Cara (8/5): Beautiful place in a lovely small town - Beautiful small town with lots of nice restaurants in the area. Beautiful views from the pool and nice to have the pool area. Electric bikes available to rent to go to nearby vineyards (20 euro each for half a day). Room was clean and spacious. The English speaking woman was friendly but not there every day and sometimes it was hard to find staff to ask questions to as they were not always there. We would recommend for a quiet break for a few days in a beautiful location. The air conditioning was really weak and didn’t cool the room so we didn’t have a very comfortable sleep in the heat. We would have preferred some different options for breakfast (e.g. eggs/vegetables) - the options were only croissant and cake then either ham/cheese plate or yoghurt and fruit.

Stay was very clean, good size rooms, comfy beds, great shower and bathroom. Pool was a big bonus!
