Guest Reviews
- Watts (8/5): Weekend in Durham - Beds are really comfortable
Location to Durham City and surrounding areas excellent
Very clean throughout
Great communications with the owner
Sheets smelt lovely
USB points everywhere
- ShrewsBex (10/5): Little Gem - I was travelling with my Dad who has had 2 knee replacements so a bungalow was a perfect for our staycation. The bungalow is beautiful with everything you could need for a fantastic stay. Great location for exploring Durham and environs, really clean and welcoming. Lovely size bedrooms. Cosy lounge. The kitchen is completely kitted out with pots and pans and equipment if you want to cook. The neighbourhood is really quiet and within walking distance of a great little chippy, takeaway pizza place and a convenience store. We loved our stay and would definitely book again.
- Lindsay (6/5): - Clean basic property. It is situated in housing estate .
- Lee (10/5): -
- Mick (8/5): Great stay in a convenient location - Great accommodation in a handy location to visit Durham and the surrounding area No issues, it was a great stay
- Adesoji (10/5): -
- andrew (5/5): - Quiet location , had what was needed for an overnight stay The mattresses were far too soft , neither of us slept well.
- Margaret (8/5): -
- Wilfried (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Pleasant comfortable quiet stay, no real downsides. - Very quiet, decor was good, bedrooms were spacious The lounge is on the small side but we didn’t spend any time in there anyway as we only used the bungalow for sleeping.
- William (9/5): Loved the accommodation, just a little too far away from pubs and restaurants to walk, car needed. - Accommodation really good. Just a little far from pubs and restaurants
- Junli (10/5): - 自驾车的朋友可以考虑,有厨房,房子很大,环境很好
- Chris (8/5): - Great value for money
- Janet (10/5): A lovely stay at Amani.the bungalow was clean, tidy & well equipped A very comfortable stay. - The house was exceptionally clean & well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped, the welcome pack (milk, tea, coffee & biscuits) was very much appreciated. Nothing
- jo-anne (10/5): - Wow beautiful and clean everything you need! Nothing
- Bonnie (9/5): Superb - A very clean and spacious house, nicely decorated and airy. It was right by a bus stop into Durham so very convenient. Bathroom was large with an excellent shower. Beds were comfortable. Wifi worked well. The location was very convenient in some ways but not a picturesque village and not that close to shops. But this is what we expected and it was good value.
The kitchen was lovely in many ways with enough room to eat, modern cooker, toaster, kettle etc, but lacking in a few basic cooking items, eg a casserole dish for the oven, a colander.
- Pauline (10/5): Family stay to attend Graduation ceremony - Absolutely beautiful house, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very quiet area . Short drive to Durham centre. Can highly recommend this accommodation. Could not find a single fault
- Robert (10/5): Very well maintained accommodation - Good location spacious and very clean
- Kyriacos (9/5): Good all round, a pleasant bungalow, with decent shower and comfy beds all amenities met. - Location was good. couple of miles to park and ride into Durham which was useful.
Twenty five mins drive to Beamish museum.
Bungalow was as pictured , a comfortable stay.
all round. A couple of small side tables would have been useful in the living room, just for reference.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (9/5): Spacious, cosy bungalow with own parking near Durham City Centre - Lovely bungalow in Brandon Village, which was perfect for visiting family & getting into the city. The bungalow was very comfortable, warm, spacious and spotlessly clean. Driveway parking was an added bonus. I stayed for 2 nights while visiting family in the nearby villages. Excellent communication from the owner & and easily accessed using key in a key safe. There are buses nearby and not far from shops for essential items. There was coffee, tea & biscuits on arrival, which is a nice touch. Nothing not to like. A tea towel would have been useful but I had brought my own. Perhaps a sieve or colander would have been useful. Otherwise adequately equipped.
- Suzanne (8/5): Great place to stay - Bedroom sizes. Comfortable beds. Excellent heating.
Great location for visiting our daughter who's at Durham uni.
Would stay again! Kitchen could do with some bowls/ casserole dishes to be able to cook a 'proper' dinner. Also larger frying pan and saucepans.
- Maria (7/5): Good - Clean and tidy
Good location Lack of kitchen equipment - no cheese grater, no oven dishes, no tea pot or coffee jug
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Absolutely fantastic -
- Helen (10/5): Will be booking again - Close to who I was visiting so will be booking regular Honestly, the shower was fiddly to get to right temp but that nothing really everything was spot on
- Rajesh (9/5): Superb -
- Gail (10/5): Wonderful stay - The location was very quiet, but close to city centre, grocery store, and other activities. The home was well appointed, very clean, and beds comfortable (most comfortable beds during our entire visit). The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious! The host was very good at communication, and very accommodating. This is the nicest accommodation we stayed at, but also the lowest price! We loved visiting Durham, and will definitely book here with Tabi again next time we visit Durham! No negatives
- Izzy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful inside, place had a lovely smell in all of the bedrooms and it was nice and warm considering how cold it is this time of year, the heating was on when we got there and i couldnt believe how big it was! couldn’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay☺️
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant - Paintwork poor. Area didn’t look the best.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, tidy and warm. Beds really comfortable. Lovely bath and rainfall shower.
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Shabaz (10/5): Excellent stay, highly recommended. - Clean, homely feel, very lovely property. Brilliant communication from the host. Extremely accommodating. Very pleasant stay.
- Deka (9/5): Superb - It's a very clean, quiet and beautiful property. I could live there for a month. Definitely coming back. No dishwasher so washing utensils after dinner even with hot running water makes life a bit difficult. Otherwise i was happy to be there.
- Joe (9/5): Well worth the money. - Quiet location. Good standard of fixtures and fittings. Generally clean and well presented.
Very good value for money. Though the property was clean - the mirrors were all smeared - I think probably wiped and not buffed or wrong cleaning solution used.
Very little shower gel - certainly not enough for 4
- Philip (10/5): Excellent value. Comfy beds. Clean well presented property. - Very comfy beds, clean and excellent value offering space for 4 people sleeping for £92 for the night.
- Holly (9/5): Comfortable, clean and close to town - This was a wonderfully clean and smart place to stay. It's super close to town and is in a quiet residential area. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom was a great size. There was even an iron and ironing board! The living room is rather small, which is why it got a 9 instead of a 10.
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Provision of milk, tea/ coffee and biscuits.
Spacious bedrooms.
Quiet location. Information on the property eg .- Wifi Address/ Password, Refuse sorting info. - would have been helpful.
Also couldn´t seem to find the hairdryer.
- Richard (9/5): We enjoyed our two night stay. - Quiet location on the outskirts of Durham. Clean and comfortable modern bungalow with all the facilities needed.
- Ashley (9/5): Great One Night Stay - Great location,, easy to find. Biscuits and milk on arrival which is very generous. Clean and tidy. Nice for a short stay in the area. Beds were slightly springy.
- Graham (7/5): Good -
