• Ian (7/5): - Excellent value. Nice having a well stocked kitchen so you can cook your own meals. Handy having a washing machine and dryer available for guests to use. Walking distance from a co-op store. Our room was at the front so there was a fair bit of traffic noise during the night. Rooms at the back should be alot quieter.

• AshGrey (8/5): - It was a lovely room, brilliant shower room, there was a lady cleaning when we arrived and she was lovely. The extra little touches like phone cables were really good I didn't sleep well, it looks like a double bed with a king mattress and as it's raised off the slats you roll into the middle, which would be OK if you were on your own but sharing the bed and felt I was tilted :-(
• Jacqueline (7/5): - Was very comfortable was nice having a fridge in the room.b Wasn't great in the kitchen area as I wasn't able to sit as stools were too high for me and people didn't clean up after themselves leaving dishes in sink and drainer and food/crumbs lying about which is unacceptable when it is a shared kitchen. We had an issue with the hot water but was fixed for us.

• Chelsea (1/5): - I stayed in Room 4 last night and the experience was honestly horrific. As soon as I opened the door I was hit with the overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke. It was obvious a heavy smoker had been in the room before me. I’m annoyed at myself for not asking to be moved, especially given the £90 a night price – I expected far better standards. I had a very important meeting this morning at a nearby facility, and the smell has completely ruined the experience. Everything I own now absolutely stinks of smoke. I’ve had to travel four hours back up north and wash all my clothes, my belongings, and even my hair because the smell was so strong. I barely slept, woke up with a pounding headache, and I’m still feeling unwell from being in that environment. As a single female travelling alone, I didn’t feel comfortable staying in that room at all. I had hoped to stay here more frequently from January as I’ll be in the area often, but after this experience, I genuinely don’t feel it’s suitable or worth the money. Really disappointing.

• Kerry-Ann (5/5): For a 1 night pit stop this is fab, if its a relaxing comfortable night away then its not. - The room has everything needed, modern and simple, nicely decorated, stunning bathroom. we had planned a day to the falkirk wheel and the kelpies but ended up in another hotel because we were so tired and sore from the bed. communal kitchen was beautiful. again very modern. bed is lower than my knee and mattress is very uncomfortable, we never slept a wink. a curtain in the bedroom to keep the 4 am sunrise coming in and blinding everyone is a necessity. better bedding and pillows aswel as we had to go buy more pillows and towels from asda. if your mobility is poor then avoid as the stairs are concrete and there alot. the entrance and outside was like a jail sadly. we thought we were at the wrong place. the utility room was a cupboard in the close.

Friendly pub just down the road. Fantastic room for the price! Bedroom was tiny, barely any space for our luggage.

The bathroom has recently been totally renovated and was amazing. The recommendation for the Indian restaurant close by was wonderful. Great food. Yes, I'd definitely stay here again. The neighborhood was a little questionable in the dark.

• Tracey (10/5): Another Grest Stay in the Lovely Little Laurieston Inn. - This was our second time staying at Laurieston Inn while visiting family. As previously there was good communication from the owner prior to our stay. Lots of helpful information was provided. Our room (4) was clean, comfortable & nicely decorated. We could see the kelpies from our window, which was lovely. Everything you might need is provided including a full size fridge & toiletries. Kitchen is clean & well equipped. There was only one slight negative, which was the same on our previous stay... There is no mirror in the bedroom area. For hair drying, makeup etc you have to use the bathroom mirror which requires a bit of forethought & organisation if two people are getting ready to go out at the same time. It would be quite easy & inexpensive to put a mirror inside the wardrobe door (even stick on mirrored tiles would work).

Very clean, tidy shared kitchen. Small convenience store very short walk away and we had some Chinese takeaway from Eating Well nearby which was delicious and served by a lovely young gentleman Be aware there is no staff in attendance just receive a code to enter building and room. A shared kitchen so no tea making facilities in room but kitchen was just a few steps away. Missing a mirror to dry hair in front of and the bed was too soft for our liking

• tom (9/5): A wee gem in Falkirk - The room and kitchen facilities were excellent. Very pleased. It's perhaps difficult to avoid but the smell of washing machines and soap powder just inside the front door doe s not give a good first impression. That's a pity as the place is otherwise excellent
• Bensen (4/5): Laurieston inn review - The hotel itself was very good value for money, the room and the toilet has been designed well, and can't fault it, especially for the cost. Car park at the back is very limited has space for around 3-4 cars, however there is enough car parking space near the front, although not ideal as its on a busy main road. The customer service here is garbage, was here on a business trip and requested an invoice multiple times, they came back saying that they have some software issues which need to be resolved. Understandable. What's not reasonable is that after a month im still waiting on that invoice and they have stopped responding to my messages.

The bathroom was fabulous with a shower that was something else. Very pleasing. The shared kitchen had every appliance you could ever need. The location was very good, close to eateries and attractions. Parking was within the area behind the Inn and was accessed via the road behind. Would definitely book again if in the area. There was even a washing machine you could use if needed. Can't think of anything I didn't like.

One that switches from overhead to hose. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rooms are comfy. Rooms have a fridge, fan, tv, ironing board, and chargers for every device. Will definitely stay again.
