- Valerian George (5/5): It’s was good .. housekeeping and front desk were really nice and courteous. - Breakfast was good just that the server weren’t attentive and never came to my table to ask if I wanted something or everything was ok. Servers attentiveness and approach to ask the guest if anything needed

It was good, we went on 04th Jan 2026 for 2 nights, I did not like the service, it was poor, i had to wait for coffee mug, spoons, I had to wait 30min or more for Panner Paratha etc as it was a weekday no public holiday, then also the service was so poor, think if it was sat or sun then what would have happen. I had booked my rooms through Booking.com. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. When I reached the property around 12:00 pm, the staff at the reception said that the price offered by booking.com does not match with there price. We had to wait more then 1hr as the hotel staff was sorting out the matter. After waiting for long time I had to personally inform the staff that we are leaving for the downtown / city center, please call when the matter is resolved. Around 2:45 pm I received the call from the hotel, saying that they could not sort out the matter but they agree for the price as per the booking confirmation send me by booking.com. So we checked in by paying the agreed amount. You won't believe at the time of check out after 2 days stay, We were told to pay the difference amount. I argue with them as you had agreed for the price which confirmed by booking.com then why do you have to charge me xtra. I showed them the booking confirmation email which I had received on my email, where price was mentioned along with taxes. Finally I had to ask for the hotel Manager to sort it out. I asked the manager to ask that particular staff who had agreed for the price confirmed by booking.com & had accepted the full payment at the time of check in. Then the manager talk to the concern staff & sorted the matter. So it took my another 1hr at the time of check out.

- Supratik (9/5): Great weekend with family at the hotel - Breakfast and dinner spread was good though there is always a scope for improvement in the quality, service was good, the char section in dinner was something new to me in hotels which my family loved, room was good and comfortable and room amenities were as per expectation. More indoor games are desirable, local delicacies such as misal was missing in breakfast, which was a bit disappointing, portion sizes available in the dinner buffet were small which required frequent refilling.

- Andrea (8/5): Gateway hotel - Very thoughtful birthday message and cake presented. Clean neat room, good food. Property is very well maintained especially the garden. Nice pool and jacuzzi facilities We've been coming to the property for years now, but the new staff asked if we're here for the first time. Every time we left the hotel for a drive, the gate keepers asked if we're checking in. You should note when a customer has come before. We called for tea sachets that took 40 min to arrive.

- Sukanya (4/5): Disappointing - Apart from their initial resistance to understand my issue, the staff in general was cooperative. My only wish is that they get a disability sensitivity training. I understand their will to provide solution but while doing so they ended up offering a few impractical solutions that might offend someone who is not well guarded. Even after mentioning it on their profile that it is a wheelchair friendly place most of the things are not very accessible. The lifts are small. They had a renovation going on so the facilities available were not at all accessible. I had to be stuck in my room for 2 days and cancel the stay for the other 2 days as that's not the holiday I wanted. Indoor play area is mentioned but it is nowhere to be found.

There were No tissues kept in the bathroom. 2 times in a day the key did not work, (out of this one was during check in only). We had to go to reception and activate it again.
