The attention to detail in the cottage was so delightful . The bottle of bubbles and cheese and crackers and cookies was so kind . Suzanne makes the most incredible breakfasts which were presented in such a lovely way. The cottage itself was comfortable and everything you could wish for . The surrounding gardens and deck were really tranquil , lush and stunning . The location of the cottage couldnt be better in a lovely quiet area yet minutes to main town centre and stunning views. Suzanne was a wealth of knowledge on the best views, walks and places to see and eat and couldnt be more helpful. We would love to return in the future and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend. Suzanne and her beautiful cottage are gems . Everything was great .

Suzanne was wonderful to deal with from start to finish and my parents were so impressed with her. They loved the breakfast that was provided and how beautiful the property was. They can’t recommend it enough and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. There were no negatives about this property.

• Matt (10/5): An unforgetable stay in Maleny - We had a lovely stay at Manuka Getaway for three nights. The property is secure, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is also very nice, with some friendly visiting Magpies, Butcher Birds and Water Dragonns. The host, Suzanne, is wonderful - very friendly, kind and helpful. She made us feel at ahome, and provided a delicious and healthy breakfast in the garden each morning. The property is located just off the Mountain View Rd, which (as the name suggests) has great views of the Glasshouse Mountains. It's also quite close to Mary Cairncross Reserve, which has beautiful rainforest walks. Maleny township is about 5 minutes drive away. We would have stayed longer if we had time. Nothing at all.
• Kimberley (10/5): - Manuka is a wonderful place, private and with lush gardens. The pool has natural landscaping and is much larger than average, and it overlooks the green field next door. The villa is furnished delightfully with lots of interesting bits and pieces to look at. On arrival, there was a welcoming tray of nibblies (cheeses, crackers, grapes and biscuits) plus a nice bottle of wine, and a variety of teas and coffee to be had with a jug of fresh milk. The kitchen is well-appointed if you wish to cook. The owner is absolutely delightful and very welcoming, she is very interesting to chat to and nothing is too much trouble. She is the kindest and most considerate host I have ever come across. Maleny is a difficult area for phone network reception and tv cable. I could not watch abc iview, for instance, but could have watched the free to air tv channels if I had wanted to. It was no concern to me but it might be for some people.

Suzanne was tremendous and we hope to return to Manuka next time we visit Queensland. All aspects of our stay exceeded our expectations. Ideally located with nature walks on the doorstep. Well worth a short 15 minute walk to the amazing viewpoint of the Glasshouse mountains.

• Aleesha (8/5): Very peaceful and cozy with delicious breakfast! - The location was lovely. In a very peaceful area, surrounded by a lot of greenery, birds and amazing views. The property itself was very well maintained, very secure and had great natural light. The living room was spacious with a lovely fireplace (but we didn’t use it because we went during the summer). The kitchen had everything you needed (cutlery, glasses, stove, fridge and delicious tea and coffee). The bedroom was perfect for 2 and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. The bed itself was definitely spacious enough for 2 and cozy. The little patio outside was lovely for sitting and relaxing. Susan gave us a very warm welcome, and she also makes very delicious breakfasts. The bedsheets were just a little bit itchy on the first night, but with a little bit of a fluff they were fine. It did rain a bit on our trip, but that didn’t ruin the overall stay. We also didn’t realise we could use the pool (bit silly of us). We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Her passion for nature and animals shone through in stories about the local wildlife, and her two dogs were adorable. The place earns a perfect 10/10: spacious, spotless, comfortable, with a large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, excellent barbecue, sunny terrace, and a huge private pool. The attention to every detail made it unforgettable. Value for money is outstanding. It was hard to leave Suzanne and Manuka Gateway - we'd love to return someday! All the best to you, Suzanne. This is a separate small house on the owner's property with all the amenities you could wish for. The owner is a lovely person and extremely helpful and approachable. There were some tasty bites in the fridge and a delicious breakfast. Really a lovely place to stay. I pretty much liked everything. If I have to think of something, I would have liked a cup of coffee with my breakfast. I only stayed one night - if I'd have stayed two I'd have brewed a pot of coffee in the room (an ample supply of good quality provided) and brought it to breakfast on the second day so not a problem!

Heerlijk ontbijt, welkomshapjes en fles bubbels, van hele leuke gastvrouw,, die elke ochtend de vogels voert.. Susanne bedankt! Het ontbijt was heerlijk, maar wij hadden liever ander brood gehad, dan alleen de harde toast. Maar dat is ook echt het enige dat ik kan bedenken. Alles was goed voor elkaar.

• Susan (10/5): A sanctuary in the rainforest - A little sanctuary in the rainforest. Suzanne has created a beautiful place to relax and so close to many iconic spots. The breakfast was amazing accompanied by visiting birds and the gentle trickle of water in the fish pond. So many little surprises awaited us in the fridge which I won't spoil for the next visitors. The bed was comfy and it was lovely to awake to birds singing. Suzanne was so helpful with information about places to see and things to do in the area. Absolutely nothing.

We were treated each day to a freshly cooked breakfast while being entertained by our host feeding her many bird friends. It was mostly very good perhaps could have been a little cleaner

It's in a beautiful location - Suzanne provided an excellent breakfast and served it in an beautiful outdoor location. The surrounding neighbourhood was very quiet and just over five minutes by car to Maleny's shops and restaurants. Suzanne also gave us advice on where to dine in town, and some of the local attractions. Don't miss the Bird Park. We enjoyed our breakfasts prepared by Suzanne. Nothing

This was an excellent place to stay & is thoroughly recommended.

So welcoming and friendly, really enjoyed our time together despite it being only a flying visit. Amazing location just a few minutes from breathtaking views of the Glass House Mountains and the Mary Cairncross reserve where you can walk around a rainforest and spot Pademelons! Apartment is self contained with a kitchen and super comfortable bed, and Suzanne makes an awesome brekkie! Highly recommended and great base to explore the sunshine coast and hinterland. • John (10/5): host well what a lovely Lady full of info and has been well traveled could not fault the whole trip - breakfast to die for nothing we could find

• Pat (10/5): Weather you’re after a romantic getaway or just a couple of nights to chill I highly recommend Manuka Getaway - Very peaceful central to needs. Suzanne the host was very welcoming and the breakfast both mornings was amazing very informative of things to do in the area.
