• ASH (9/5): Really beautiful place to relax and enjoy a cooler temperature and more authentic Bali - The location is very serene and beautiful, very quiet. Less available drivers and restaurants, had to rely on the hotel staff and driver which cost a bit more than we were hoping

• Samuel (10/5): Incredible Stay, Beautiful Views, Pristine Villa and Great Staff! - Ponandu Living was one of my favorite retreats in Bali. The staff are so kind and the villa is perfect. It was large villa and it had brand new everything! Views of the mountains, strawberry fields, the lake and high speed Wi-Fi. The staff let me and my wife use their buggy and bicycles to get around. The staff were like artists the way they turned the towels into cranes on the bed with the floral bouquet. I would definitely stay here again!

The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which is very important for me — on Bali this is not always the case, so it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a restaurant nearby, which is very convenient. This place is perfect for guests who want privacy, tranquility, fresh air, and a comfortable, relaxing stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience — we would be happy to return. -

• Arvind (10/5): Highly recommended. - An exceptional property, surrounded by nature in its most beautiful forms. If you are a nature lover like me and my wife, then it is the perfect place which you will love. Here you name it and you have it....mountains, hiils, forests, farms, huge lake. The beautiful cabins which compliment the nature, are located in such a way that besides from the balcony, you can enjoy the sights of all these even from the comfort of your bed. On the day of our arrival at this property for 3 nights stay, it was drizzling. Thick and dark clouds were so low that we felt engulfed by them. It seemed they came down from the skies to welcome us. To add to this beautiful feeling, these clouds even brought with them a huge rainbow like a garland, that was so close by that we could have almost touched it. About the other aspects of this property I would say that everything else was far beyond our expectations. It is a brand new property which came up almost a year back. The cabins are very clean and tastefully done. The wooden floor and walls, the huge king size bed, the decor, the colour scheme, the lighting....all very pleasing to eyes. The owners (Jodie) and staff were very friendly and helpful, and made sure we were treated and looked after very well. A special word of appreciation and thanks to Mada (front desk) who made our stay highly comfortable as she looked after all our needs so very nicely and with love and care, which we will cherish and remember for a long time. • Adrian (7/5): - Die Unterkunft ist ziemlich neu und in einem guten Zustand. Die Austattung ist funktional und der Schlafraum ist grosszügig. Der Blick auf den Beratan See ist sehr schön. Das in Laufdistanz gelegen Pondanu biete eine gute Essgelegenheit. Für eine einzelne Übernachtung entspricht das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis extrem gut. Die Internetverbidung ist stabil und gut. Die Bungalows weisen rundum bauliche Ungenauigkeiten, was dazu führt dass im Bodenspalte vorhanden sind und dadurch kühle Luft eindringen kann. Generell weisen die Gebäude im Bali Ungenauigkeiten auf. Die Anlage bietet jedoch elektrische Heizdecken.
• Sereina (9/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit Blick auf den See. Es hat genügend warme Duvets auch für die kälteren Nächte. Besonderes Plus; es hat ganz in der Nähe eins schönes und leckeres Restaurant am See, wo das Personal einem hinfährt. Ca 7 Min zu Fuss.
• Sven (9/5): Lovely place! - It was a beautiful lodge, with very kind staff. Always available and ready to help you. It was quiet and the room was clean, they offer you enough drinks in the mini fridge, towels, toothpaste, everything!
• Elango (9/5): A beautiful and cozy place near the lake! - We loved the place overall! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The view of the mountains and lake from our balcony was simply stunning. The restaurant was about a 5-minute walk along the lake, but they also offered a convenient battery shuttle for pick-up and drop. The food was excellent, and the boardwalk extending into the lake was perfect for peaceful early mornings, offering a serene view of the water. The restaurant had a charming old-world ambience, with vintage scooters and classic furniture adding a nice touch. The kitchen team really knows how to serve great food! One suggestion would be to consider some heating options in the rooms, as it can get quite chilly at times. Also, a few more kids’ activities—like books and games—would make the stay even better for families. Overall, it’s a lovely, cozy place nestled between Bratan Lake and the surrounding mountains. With Banyumala Waterfalls just a 30-minute drive away, what more could one ask for! My wife, our 9-year-old daughter, and I were truly impressed.

• Alexandre (7/5): Beau lieu mais être conscient des points négatifs - La gentillesse du personnel comme partout à Bali. La beauté de la chambre et l'espace. La beauté du lieu en général Éloigné de tout. Pas facile d'avoir un grab dû au paysage sur la route de l'hôtel. Aucune isolation acoustique donc réveil à 5.30 heures avec l'élevage de coq de combat situé face à l'établissement. Le soir, les chants des campeurs situés sur le site Pondanu camping un peu plus loin vous laisse réveillé plus tard que souhaité.

Some things like it was a bit of a walk to anywhere was out of the resorts control, however, upon leaving, I felt as though we were being infantlised. We were made to wait whilst our rooms were checked. I would understand if we were a stag do party, but a respectful family of 4? This really spoilt the experience. This next point could be a pro or a con. LOTS of Cockerells in the area. They like to wake early.

• Mark (9/5): Would highly recommend. - Great location nestled up on the hill over looking the lake. Very spacious room with everything you need and a great balcony overlooking the farms, mountains and lake. The free bikes and welcome snacks (banana fritters) were great touches. The restaurant was good and in nice grounds. The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. One small thing. There was a restaurant near the hillside cabins but didn’t seem to function so had to go down to the lakeside part of the property, but it was a lot nicer down by the lake anyway so no real problem.
• Christian (7/5): Only stayed 1 night but the room cabin was fantastic and very cozy. Staff were awesome. - The room, location and staff were excellent. There was no fridge in the room to store cold drinks or snacks. And to have enough bicycles that should be offered free to staying customers to use as desired, without damaging of course, would be a great addition as well as small fridges in the rooms.
