- Inès (8/5): - Mignon très anglais confortable Faut aimer marcher des côtes
- Dr Divine (9/5): My stay here and that of my team was excellent. Thank you so much. - Everything about the accommodation was great. My friends want to rent it as well. Great place in the middle of the City. Every needed information was provided by the host. I will recommend this place to any friend. There is no complaint.

- Julie (8/5): Fabulous, warm and clean love Cork - The location was perfect , walking distance to the centre of town. Could’ve had milk for tea and coffee as we arrived very late and all the shops were closed.
- Claire (7/5): We had a lovely time in COrk - Location WIFI did not work for 2 days

- Alex (4/5): - The service and the staff were very accommodating and thoughtful. Upstairs felt clean. The swivel chair was a nice touch for the little one. The place smelled like cigarettes, main floor rug felt dirty/gritty and tearing up, the walk to the residence was steep and a little difficult to find, could of been mentioned. No microwave. The photos did not do the place justice.
- Georgina (8/5): - Comfortable Impossible parking area

- Hans (1/5): Cork was gezellig.
- Katarzyna (10/5): Great stay - Place was very clean, easy contact, great location, friendly neighbourhood.
- Geoffrey (1/5): Didn’t stay we left, the photos are not true to the condition of the place - No breakfast/ no tea/ no coffee/no milk
I like nothing about the place The place was dirty/ carpet, shower , lounge all stained, the stairs were so narrow that we couldn’t get our suitcases up the stairs, very dangerous my wife walked in and looked around and started crying she was so upset so we left and stayed in a hotel so we lost our money so am very angry. A refund would be appropriate under the circumstances, I would not recommend the place
- Shirley (7/5): Good stay - We liked the house OK for a short stay of 2 nights. It's comfortable and well furnished. Any queries were responded to quickly. Climbing up that hill! Walked back from town only once and nearly needed oxygen afterwards 😅 After that we got taxis.
- William (10/5): Exceptional - The Model Cottages are very close to the centre of the city, and the house itself was clean, comfortable and had everything you'd need for a breakaway.
Rob was on hand for any questions or needs and is a first class host. Only thing we didn't like was that given the location there is no real parking. You cannot park outside the house on the small lane as someone is taking up your spot or have placed a bin there, and if you move it, they will be straight out the window 😅
Also, the road below (Blarney street) is paid parking for 2 hours only (until 6.30pm) and is the worst road to traverse in Cork, our taxi was hit into on one occasion(whole side ripped). Lol
I'd recommend getting a 24hour Q-park for the car that you can come and go from. This is handy enough and if you're going elsewhere, you can park the car on blarney street, pay a few euro for the parking at 8.30am to 10.30am and then just do your day away. (We did this and were all good).
- Domínguez (4/5): Overall, the stay didn’t meet the expectations or standards I was hoping for. - - The apartment was impeccably clean, which made our stay comfortable from the moment we walked in.
- It seemed to have been recently renovated, with everything—from the freezer and carpet to the beds—looking brand new.
- The beds were comfortable.
- The location was very quiet and peaceful.
- The owner was extremely responsive, getting back to us quickly at any time, which we really appreciated. - The bedroom was extremely cramped, with barely any space between the bed and the windows.
- The toilet and shower were very small, making it uncomfortable, especially for larger guests.
- The main floor had a musty smell that affected the overall comfort.
- The location was too remote, far from restaurants, supermarkets, and other essentials.
- Returning in the evening after a full day out was tiring due to the steep walk uphill.
- There was no internet connection, so we couldn’t use the TV or connect our phones.
- Overall, due to the limited space, location, and lack of basic conveniences, I wouldn’t stay here again.
- Sean (7/5): Good - Location Stairs very narrow
- Valerie (9/5): Lovely house. Good location. Very little parking. Road way very narrow - Very clean. Well equipped. Very comfortable The parking
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (10/5): Had a great time, will be back again! - The house was perfect and in a great location, so close to the city centre and very cute little home, will definitely be back again next time visiting Cork! The house has everything we needed and it was spotless, beds are also super comfy! Nothing can be done about this, it’s no one’s fault but just to be weary of the hill on which the house is located, just something to bear in mind while driving up, it’s not impossible at all obviously but was a bit of a surprise for us. Again this wouldn’t put us off coming back to visit as Cork is very hilly anyhow!!
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hosegood (10/5): Exceptional - The property is very well kept and clean, the owner Rob is very quick with enquiries and helped whenever he could. The property is in great location and you get exactly as described, thank you for the stay.
- Jennifer (10/5): It was amazing - It was very cosy and warm and felt like home
- Natalie (6/5): Even with negative points would have no objections to staying at the property if the price was less - Parking an issue but lovely next door neighbor was ok with us parking 2nd car outside.
Should be a note on advertisement that anyone with a large stature will have difficulty getting up & down the stairs
Sorry to say slight smell of damp
- Johnny (4/5): Good distance from the city, but not a nice area. - It had a homely feel and was a short walk to the main city area. The location was poor, we didn’t feel safe walking around the connecting roads. The water from the shower came out brown. The vendor said it was copper in the pipes, but regardless of the reason it was not pleasant to clean yourself in.
- Heidi (9/5): Fab little gem in cork - Great cosy little property not far from cork city! Very spacious and comfortable with all amenities. It’s in a very quiet street and has a Lovely little courtyard to sit in out back. The host was great with all communication and nothing was too much we really appreciate it and had an amazing stay :)
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Great spot for a weekend stay near a cool city - Really cosy and only a 10/15min walk to the centre. The Host was very communicative and friendly. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in Cork.
- Davide (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Tarun (1/5): Wrong selection to stay there - The location is good Inhumman behaviour of owner women. We just ask simple water. She said go washroom n drink water..At 10 am checkout n she text just a mim before check out ..if u not check out it's could be some chargees.....which I share screen shot too
- Anna (7/5): Good - Location
Communication with host
- Barton (10/5): Excellent property. Value for mone. - The property was lovely, and perfect for the purpose of our visit. It’s always pleasant when the host messages you after the first night to make sure everything is ok, and whether or not we needed anything
- Stephen (10/5): Very cosy and comfortable cottage in the centre of Cork. - Excellent value for money, clean and very well equipped cottage. Great location, 10 mins walk to the centre of Cork. Very helpful host who was ready to answer every question we had. Parking a little tight when we arrived but once we figured out how it worked it was easy.
- Ella (9/5): Superb -
- Nicki (9/5): We enjoyed our stay in this cosy cottage overlooking Cork town. - The property was cosy and felt just like home.
- Sean (1/5): It was a terrible experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone - I didn’t like this property it was not suitable for a family stay and should have been stated on the add it wasn’t suitable The property is located in a back street of cork city with police coming up the street to control the neighbours it is not a safe place for a family to stay and it should be stated on the advertisement that it’s in the slums of cork city I would not recommend anyone to book this property, it was a terrible experience for my family to arrive here and be greeted with this, we stopped the police and they advised us that is was not a good locality for us to be staying in, we had leave the property for the safety of my family and had rebook another property for our stay with no refund on this property that we didn’t stay in for an hour
- Arjun (10/5): Great place to stay - The living space downstairs is spacious and very nice. A small outside sitting area. The kitchen has all the needed stuff. The rooms are pretty decent and neat. Very helpful host. I would definitely put this place as a favourite for my future visits. NA
