Guest Reviews
- Richard (9/5): Lovely cottage, very well equipped and maintained. Beautiful surroundings - Very warm and homely feel to the place. Probably one of the best equipped and maintained apartments I’ve ever stayed in Location is very quiet definitely need a car to stay here.
- Stuart (10/5): - The property was perfect providing a home from home feel. Lovely cottage in a lovely spot. N/A
- Simon (10/5): Lovely, did not disappoint! - Very cosy and comfortable in January - a great base for a course nearby! Don’t drive down the lane, after unloading next to the gate as you can’t turn round in the charming narrow lane - reverse out straight away.. it’s an old house, so takes a while to warm up in the early am - plan ahead.. What’s not to like otherwise, a perfect charming base! Wish I was there in the spring/ summer on holiday with more daylight!!

- Brian (10/5): Lovely place to get away from it all - Lovely characterful old cottage. Had everything you needed- washing machine, dishwasher etc. The hosts even left tea, coffee, milk and chocolate. Very quiet area in an attractive village with beautiful views nearby on country pathways. Banbury not far away also worth a visit Wi fi signal not the best but not a serious problem!
- Glenn (6/5): Pleasant - Keys were in a lock box with the number being provided on the location information prior to arrival. The toilet seats were very old and loose in both bathrooms. Might be a nice touch to replace them with plastic or painted resin as these "look" a lot cleaner and more hygienic. At the very least, make sure they're not loose.
The overall decoration of the cottage was very old fashion and mis-matched. (Seemed to be a dumping ground of furniture, or a place to store furniture that the owners didn't know what to do with), but on this topic, the pictures matched the cottage so it is as advertised. (Might be something to consider for improvement;-))
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - Everything.
Fantastic accommodation,
Marvellous hosts
Wonderful village Nothing
- Kevin (9/5): Forget the negative points , this did not affect our Lovely Stay - would definitely consider return - Beautiful Cottage in a Beautiful Village - which you need to explore - 3 Pubs within walking distance ( The Bell only 50 yards away ) - Lovely Bed , Kitchen and Lounge with Juliet balcony. - Great Stay Pity there was not access to the large courtyard for sitting outside.
Skylights need to be cleaned , particularly over the bed.
The electricity tripped leaving us in darkness one evening when we put the Dishwasher on.
- Taylor (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Lovely host(ess) came out to meet us early upon arrival.
The property / accommodation was impeccable and happened to be in an exceptionally convenient location for our trip.
It was not cheap for 2 nights accommodation but was worth it.
- Cathy (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable, cosy cottage in a quiet village with nice walks and local pub. Everything was good.. there wasn't anything we didn't like. We would definitely stay again.
- Frances (10/5): Hannah's cottage was perfect for us. We loved it. -
