• Jorge (9/5): Buen sitio para conocer y desconectar en Ubud - El hotel está alejado del centro, a 10’ en coche pero su entorno es precioso. Es un templo todo el hotel, la habitación muy bien. No tiene restaurante.

• Fernando (10/5): Calm and beautiful! - Calm and central with a nice pool and super friendly staff. To get there you need to go through a road with pretty wild curves. Grab won’t even let you call a bike after 9 pm or something, just something to consider.

• Agnė (10/5): Plesant stay with a friendly stuff - We are very happy that we chose this place for our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with a terrace and a view of the pool. The pool water was a bit cold, but it was a perfect refreshment in the morning or after a hot day of traveling. The location is not really meant for walking around, but it is very convenient for getting around since you do not need to drive through the city center, where the traffic is unbelievably heavy. Even in the evenings, we used Grab to get to the center, which was very inexpensive and saved us from worrying about traffic or parking a scooter.

• Jennifer (8/5): Wunderschön, habe sogar zwei Nächte verlängert, weil es mir so gut gefallen hat - Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hat sich sehr bemüht, Anlage und Zimmer sehr gepflegt Für mich persönlich war es zu weit weg vom Zentrum. Es gab keine Restaurants und Cafés in Lauf Nähe. Man muss sich halt immer einen Scooter bestellen, aber das geht dann auch ganz schnell mit Grab. Der Dschungel war mir manchmal zu laut.
• Anton (7/5): Solides Hotel mit guter Preis/Leistung - Ruhige und gepflegte Anlage mitten im grün. Schöner Pool und gute Lage etwas außerhalb von Ubud. Sauberkeit geht in Ordnung. Das Hotel punktet mit der Preis/Leistung. Finde die 9+ Bewertung ehrlich gesagt aber dennoch etwas "hoch gegriffen" Zustand der Zimmer nicht unbedingt den Bildern entsprechend. (zumindest unseres) Das Badezimmer hatte abgeplatzte Fließen und Ameisen auf dem Waschtisch.

A generous breakfast each morning and a beautiful pool overlooking the jungle. The staff and families that live within Gandatera were so incredibly polite and friendly. Highly recommend for an affordable stay in Ubud!

The rooms are nice with a small desk to work on if needed. Bathrooms are also fine. Pretty nice place to stay. Wifi is decent. Did have some issues with videocalls, mostly when more people where there. If you need to do lots of calls, maybe not the most reliable place. Its a bit outside of ubud, not possible to walk to the restaurants etc.

• Sara (10/5): Great place to stay away from the chaos of Ubud centre - The place is absolutely gorgeous, from the entrance, to the rooms, to the pool facing the jungle! To make it even better is the service: attentive, genuine and always with a smile, thank you to every member of staff who made our two days at Gandatera an oasis of relax 😌 from the chef cooking our meal to the people taking care of our room and welcoming us back to the hotel every time with a smile and a nice chat. We loved the quietness of the hotel and the proximity to the centre: just a 7-10min ride by motorbike. The rooms are very comfortable with fridge and free water and fresh towels everyday if you need. Would definitely book it again for a stay in Ubud! Nothing :)

Le personnel est incroyablement gentil, et bien que le petit-déjeuner soit toujours le même, il est excellent ! Les chambres sont nettoyées chaque matin, et l’emplacement dans le temple familial est formidable et immersif. La piscine est propre, entretenue tous les matins, comme je l’ai vu à 7h pour le petit-déjeuner matinal. Je le recommande vivement ! • Jana (10/5): Super schöne Unterkunft - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft liegt perfekt: direkt neben Ubud, aber durch die Lage am Hügel herrlich ruhig und idyllisch. Das Gelände ist traditionell angelegt und sogar mit einem eigenen Tempel versehen - dahinter befinden sich die modernen Neubauten, in denen die einzelnen Zimmer sind. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders schön fanden wir den Pool mit Blick ins Grüne - einfach traumhaft. Auch das Frühstück war köstlich :) Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass wir uns jederzeit willkommen gefühlt haben. Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

• Madoty (9/5): Adresse à retenir - Cet endroit mérite vraiment le détour. Le personnel est toujours à l'écoute, prêt à vous aider, vous conseiller... L'hôtel est un peu éloigné du centre quand on ne possède de moyen de locomotion mais rien d'insurmontable. Le cadre est superbe avec piscine à débordement donnant sur la jungle. La chambre est toujours très propre et la literie parfaite. Quoi demander de plus.

Welcoming staff always happy to provide information and help if required. The pool was clean and breakfast tasty. To access property , pool area and breakfast area you need climb steep steps . The area is remote and no dining facilities unless you travel.

Otherwise it would have been perfect for us. Many steps in the accomodation so not great for anyone who has decreased mobility.

În imaginile de prezentare de pe booking îți arată o cameră mare, frumoasă , spațioasă ca și cum asta ar fi camera pe care o închiriezi la prețul arătat. De fapt mai există o altă cameră , total diferită, care apare doar dacă ești foarte atent. E posibil să fi fost și greșeala mea , dar anunțul este totuși un pic păcălitor.

Un magnifique complexe dans une maison balinaise typique. le calme, le personnel aux petits soins, un équipement de première qualité, une très belle piscine les restaurants assez éloignés, une ville qui ne présente aucun intérêt pour avoir été trop exploitée. • Carolina (10/5): Paraíso em Ubud - Estava tudo absolutamente fantástico: desde a modernidade do espaço (localizado num retiro escondido de Ubud), à limpeza, à beleza do local e à hospitalidade do staff. O quarto é enorme, moderno (sem descurar a arquitetura Balinesa) e limpo todos os dias. A piscina de borda infinita faz-nos sentir que estamos no meio da floresta, com uma vista deslumbrante para uma floresta. O pequeno almoço é simples mas delicioso, cuidadosamente preparado pelo staff. O staff é muito preocupado com o nosso bem-estar e cuida de nós de forma muito atenciosa. A localização, ligeiramente afastada do centro de Ubud, não foi um problema, pois chamando um Grab estávamos em 15 min ou menos no centro, o que também ajuda a fugir ligeiramente à confusão após o jantar. Voltaria, sem dúvida, é uma experiência a não perder, sem nada a apontar. Cinco estrelas! Adorei tudo.
• Yakau (1/5): - Nothing Ants were all over the bed, wrapped in the blanket and towel, with insect corpses everywhere. I couldn’t sleep all night fighting them. Staff changed the sheets but didn’t solve the issue. Now I’m off to Ubud with no sleep. Not recommended if you want rest, not a bug war.

The rooms are beautiful, the pool is spectacular, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is also close to the center of Ubud, just a 10–15 minute drive away. Breakfast is rich, delicious, with plenty of choice and high quality. The hotel provides toothbrushes and a hairdryer. Highly recommended!

Sijainti oli heikko ruuhkaisen tien vuoksi. Suurin osa ravintoloista sijaitsi keskustassa, jonne matka kesti skootterilla ruuhkasta riippuen. Aamiainen oli hyvä, mutta koska hotelli on pieni, aamiainen tilattiin menulta, jonka vuoksi koko rahoitettu ellei halunnut maksaa extra hintaa extra annoksesta.

• Kristen (10/5): Peaceful, tranquil and a luxury stay at the most gorgeous hotel, off the side of the jungle. A place you will - The property was stunning! So clean, so calm and peaceful. The staff were so friendly also! They surprised me with a birthday cake on my birthday when I hadn’t mentioned anything. It was a lovely way to spend my birthday away from home. Perhaps the location, it was a little far out of anything close by. But honestly still close enough to get a grab scooter into town. So the location was a very minor downside.

• Marcel (10/5): Genieten, genieten, genieten! - Mooie, ruime, gezellige kamer, goed ontbijt en heerlijk zwembad! Gastvrij ontvangen! Net buiten het centrum waardoor je taxi nodig hebt om je te verplaatsen. Wij vonden dit geen probleem maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden
