Julie-Anne (9/5): Lovely rooms for a good price if you want to pay for it - The room was huge and it was lovely The food was very ordinary and very expensive! The menu could have been better for the price and the menu wasn’t to everyone’s liking! Breakfast buffet was very disappointing! $25 a head and I went to get myself and I put full cream milk on it and the milk was warm and must have been left out for a while! There could have been hash browns and mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, different choices of eggs instead of what they had which we couldn’t work out! Pastries could have been included as well!! More choices needed for breakfast and dinner!!

The restaurant staff again friendly and helpful. The cost for the first night was at booking . Coms price but the second night was at the hotels normal price.

Very nice buffet breakfast on my final morning. I have stayed here before, and I highly recommend Carnmore Chateau in Blenheim. I'd have liked a toaster in the room so I could have made toast to have with my evening cup of soup.

Plenty of space for parking They're is no smart TV in the room which I found a bit disappointing for the price of the room. The head of the shower had a lot of water stains and the duvet was very thin. I only stayed a night, if I stayed longer I could have ask to change theses few things and I'm sure they would have accommodate me.

Philip (9/5): Very comfortable, clean and spacious. - The Carnmore is an older Hotel and the room seemed a little dusty however, it was otherwise clean and very comfortable. We do find that older hotels and motels seem to be more dusty. Putting an air purifier in a room for 12 hours could be helpful.

Alison (8/5): Relaxing & comfortable, with pleasant staff especially the Dutch(?) receptionist on arrival. - Upgrade to executive suite was a nice surprise and very spacious, especially for a longish stay. Shower was fantastic, best ever. Basin tap was a bit stiff and clunky, so it was hard to use quietly if partner asleep. Road noise - windows would be better double glazed, to avoid having to listen to the street cleaning truck revving for 20-30 mins at 6.50am. And retain heat. Though heat pump worked well. Fridge door caught on the casing so you had to remember to give it an extra shunt to close properly.

Liz (10/5): Loved the luxury spacious rooms, friendly professional check in service, highly recommend to all - Luxurious spacious rooms with quality beds and pillows. We appreciated the upgrade for guests travelling with us to be next door. Amazing check in service 'thank you'. This venue was the best accommodation we stayed at, on our South Island tour. Thank you so much. We will definitely share ratings with our family and friends that Carnmore is a A+. Restaurant was busy so earliest we were offered dining was 7.30pm which was too late for our children. So book in advance if wanting to eat onsite. No allocated carpark spaces and when we went out for dinner and came back it was full. Thankfully it was Easter weekend, we parked on the road that's normally 120min parks.
