Guest Reviews
- AndyB78 (10/5): Fantastic Cottage - Great location, with all the facilities you need N/A
- Joanna (9/5): Great stay. Thank you to the owners who sent back my daughter’s bag she left behind for free. 😊 - We have stayed here twice and love the cosy feel to the property. It’s well located, spotless clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Sue (10/5): Wonderful weekend - Great location clean tidy warm and everything we needed was there Nothing
- Karen (10/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): Definitely returning xx - A beautiful cottage. Very clean and cosy.
Fantastic facilities, you could literally just move in and want for nothing.
A very generous welcome pack, box of teabags, coffee jar, biscuits, water bottle, crisps, hot chocolate milk in the fridge.
Fully equipped kitchen.
The owners have thought of EVERYTHING. Even your dog is properly catered for. Bowls, playthings, puppy pads.
Good quality bedding and towels. Nicely decorated. The head height of the main bedroom caught me out a few times, but that's down to me not concentrating.
Personally, I'd ditch the large rug in the main bedroom as it was a trip hazard.
To make the facilities absolutely perfect, I think a more powerful shower would be appreciated by guests.
Although not directly the responsibility of the cottage,
the location was about as close as you could be to the restaurants and shops, but the steps were steep and uneven (this is stated on the details) and there was no handrail, so I found that problematic as I have joint issues.
There were good views from most windows, and again, not directly aimed at the cottage, i think the large expanse of barren land could do with development sooner rather than later as it is a bit of an eyesore.
- Sharon (9/5): Cottage has a lovely homely feel. - Location was brilliant, really central but very quiet. Lovely sunny front garden Nice views from bedroom windows. A number of steps to access the property but not a problem for us
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Kay (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing, and lovely - My two sisters and I had a lovely 4 days at Collie Cottage. This is the best equipped cottage we have stayed. It is very cosy and comfortable. The patio/garden is lovely and spacious. It's a sun trap and there's plenty of room for my little dog. The over the bath shower was very difficult for me to get into. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and a walk in shower suits me better.
- Kerry (10/5): Beautiful cosey cottage in the centre of town .Ideal for families - The owner had thought of everything down to games and books for the kids and children's cups plates cutlery etc. Crabbing stuff buckets and spades and a ball in the garden ,even a sewing kit in the drawer There was everything in there that we d need she had honestly thought of everything . Even a welcome basket on our arrival and milk in the fridge, which was much appreciated after our 6hr journey. So comfy and cosy. Beds were lovely and comfy also .Great location right in the town centre ,yet still lovely peaceful and quiet. Lovely little garden . We all loved it and will be back .Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage . Nothing
- Eleonore (8/5): Very good -
