• Annabel (10/5): - We really loved our time at Arungan villas (6 nights). Ketut was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and to give recommendations. The villas are also included as part of the pick up route for the two dive schools we were using which was an added bonus. The masseuses were great and it was lovely to be able to order a massage for the same day. They are also very well priced and have more options than other places we have stayed at in Bali. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the villas and will be back again!

Kitchen area absolutely lovely and spacious & well stocked with everything that you would need. Bed & pillows very comfortable & fresh. Linens including pool towels extremely clean. AC worked fabulously. Pool area high up and gave a beautiful ocean view. Restaurant opposite fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future. Jonny the manager always on hand to help out and also a really lovely genuine guy 🙂. A little noisy being near to the road. But this didn't affect our stay. All of Bali is busy and noisy, getting ready for high season.

• Bates (10/5): So grateful for Amed - The view is beautiful, the morning sunshine on the ocean is perfect. You get to watch the local fishing boats. The staff are lovely. Ketut was very helpful and generous with his time nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the 2 brm villa with 2 bathrooms, huge verandah in room 5. Room 3 and 4 are on same level with wonderful views and a big bedroom with the shower and toilet outside. The restaurant across the road, all of about 15 steps is Legong we ate here a lot as it was perfect in the evening, they had quality delicious food with very attentive staff. • Enzo (7/5): Hôtel agréable mais quelques points à revoir - Très bonne connexion Wi-Fi. La vue sur la mer est superbe depuis la grande terrasse. Petit plus : une grosse bombe anti-moustique mise à disposition, très utile ! Le mini-frigo de la chambre contient plusieurs boissons (eau, Coca, Sprite, bières…). Le restaurant situé juste en face de l’hôtel est excellent, et la petite piscine de l’établissement est agréable. Ils proposent également directement à l’hôtel la location de bons scooters, ce qui est très pratique pour se déplacer. La salle de bain étant ouverte, beaucoup de moustiques entrent dans la chambre. Il y a également un jour au niveau de la baie vitrée d’entrée. La propreté de la chambre est moyenne, même si cela reste convenable. Les serviettes n’ont pas été changées et aucun papier toilette n’a été remis. Enfin, des travaux ont lieu dans le complexe voisin en journée, ce qui n’est pas très agréable.

• Niharika (4/5): A good stay but not a Villa, a simple room with severe lock issue - I booked this place while looking for a stay in Amed it’s actually located in a small nearby area called Bunutan, about 4–5 km from Amed. Pros: • Lovely and very helpful staff I had a couple of issues during my stay, and they were taken care of immediately. • Beautiful sea view. • Rooms are airy and bright, with lots of natural light. • There’s a small kitchen space which is quite handy. • The bathroom is also nice and clean. Overall, the stay was good thanks to the kind staff and peaceful view, but the place could benefit from a few small improvements. Cons: • The doors are quite worn out and don’t lock properly could use some maintenance. • There’s no full-length mirror anywhere in the property. • The pictures online make the place look much larger than it actually is they seem to be taken with a wide-angle lens. • It’s called a “villa,” but it’s really more like a simple room with a kitchen and a small sitting area. They don’t have a first aid box.

• Camplo (10/5): Au top du top ! - Que dire ? Villa de quatre personnes au top du top. Spacieuse avec vue sur la mer. Levé de soleil tous les jours sur l'île de Lombok. Autonomie, propreté, gentillesse tout est réuni pour passer un séjour idyllique. C'est très a l'écart d' Amed mais au moins on est pas pollué par l'ambiance toujours aussi mauvaise générée par la mentalité occidentale des plongeurs mer. Mais c'est toujours ainsi avec eux aux quatre coins du monde.... Bref! 😂 La villa est idéalement située pour les spots de snorkeling. Vue imprenable et Joni a été adorable. Merci pour son accueil. Petit warrung Made Hill juste à côté avec une ambiance et des plats au top ! Cette villa est juste le paradis pour les familles. Un bout du monde. Rien à dire. Pour ceux qui cherchent une proximité immédiate avec Amed la villa n'est pas faites pour eux. Pour ceux qui cherchent à se retirer un peu loin des surhommes plongeurs en bouteilles alors c'est le top !
• María (9/5): - El alojamiento es muy bonito y cómodo. Se estaba muy a gusto en la terraza y la piscina. El personal que nos recibió fue muy amable y te ayudaba a gestionar lo que necesitaras. La ubicación, está algo lejos del centro de Amed. Hay que tener en cuenta que allí no funcionan las apps de transporte, por lo que solo puedes moverte en moto (el alojamiento ofrece alquiler) o taxi (bastante caro).

• Eliza (9/5): - Great location, has a few warungs around with great views. It is further away from the hustle and bustle of the Ames town centre we found this much more pleasant. The balcony is a great addition for taking in the weather and they also had scooter hire which was convenient.

• Kevin (8/5): Nous sommes contents d’avoir séjourné dans cet hôtel. - La chambre correspond aux photos. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas inclus dans le prix de la réservation car il ne font tout simplement pas de petit déjeuner. Pourtant quand j’ai réservé via Booking, il était indiqué que le petit déjeuner était bien inclus dans la réservation. Autre point négatif ils n’ont pas renouveler le shampooing, gel douche, savon pour les mains et papier toilettes après avoir nettoyé la chambre. Nous avons due le demander nous même à la réception nous même. Et pour terminer un immeuble en construction gâche la vue sur la mer, mais ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel malheureusement.

• Bilim (8/5): Nice terrace - We liked having two rooms for our family. Having a private pool is nice. Kitchen is also appreciated. Drinking water was provided which was a nice addition. We enjoyed the big terrace. Access to a very child friendly beach in the front is through a hotel complex. Pool definitely needed cleaning, there were floating items. View from the private villa is somewhat blocked by the cables and the roof of the villa in front. So, don't expect the view you see from the images. Kitchen is equipped but you need to go to another town to buy food if you want to use the kitchen. Breakfast can be provided if you want but the price is too high. Overall we didn't get the quality we expected for the price we paid.

En revanche, la vue est en partie masquée par les arbres et les bâtiments situés en front de mer. De plus, des câbles électriques passent juste devant, ce qui gâche un peu le panorama.
• Lise (10/5): Séjour parfait ! Vue incroyable sur la mer - Nous avons passé deux nuits à Arungan Villa et ce fut une très belle expérience. La vue depuis la terrasse sur la mer est magnifique, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine privée, idéale pour se détendre. La villa est très agréable, même si nous avons trouvé qu’il manquait quelques rangements dans la chambre et la salle de bain pour poser nos affaires. Le service a été irréprochable : un grand merci à Joni qui gère l’hôtel et qui a été extrêmement serviable et attentionné. Tout était parfait, nous recommandons vivement ! Manque de rangements (étagères ou armoires) dans la salle de bain et la chambre Prises pour recharger pas très accessibles

Staff veramente eccezionale che ha subito rimediato (nell arco di un giorno) ai vari problemi segnalati. Ci ha cambiato la rete antizanzare del letto e ha montato le zanzariere in bagno. Vista ogni mattina mozzafiato con il sole che sorgeva dall’acqua. Il ragazzo alla reception ci ha Accompagnato personalmente a destinazione (2 ore) poiché non arrivavano taxi. Apprezzatissimo gesto, ci ha salvati Tante zanzare, struttura precaria, le porte con il vento (ce n’è molto) sbattono. Posizione così così, nessun accesso in spiaggia e in generale quella parte di amed è ancora un cantiere a cielo aperto, non arrivano neanche i taxi

• Nowmi (8/5): Great stay with raw experience of Amed - The view from this villa is stunning, and it's a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. The entire villa is separate from the others, providing good privacy. It is located 3 km away from Amed, making it perfect for experiencing the raw and untouched beauty of Bali. You'll need a scooter or taxi to get around, but there are several good restaurants within walking distance. Renting a scooter from the hotel is also a convenient option. Keep in mind that the nearest ATM is about 3 km away, so it's a good idea to have cash on hand, although most restaurants and supermarkets do accept card payments. The rooms were very clean and spacious, but the main door was a bit loose for aesthetic reasons. Not an issue for us, but on a windy day, it can be noisy. The bathroom was very mouldy and in need of attention. We took showers while wearing our slippers because we didn't dare step on the floor barefoot. It's a shame they didn't clean it properly; otherwise, this could have been a perfect stay.

• Laura (10/5): Comfortable Clean and Enjoyable stay - Arungan Villas is a clean and comfortable property. The staff on site were helpful and kind. My most favourite part was the view from my room. I could watch the sunrise. The villa is close to the Japanese shipwreck although I didn’t get a chance to snorkel during my short stay. The warung next door has amazing food! A little far from the centre of Amed.
• Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Such a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. The ocean breeze is lovely. Johnny and family were amazing hosts, so welcoming and great to chat with. You can get a massage through the villas and a therapist comes to your room and it was probably the best massage I have ever had in Asia. Able to rent a bike through the resort for 100k-150k per day depending on the bike size. Lovely location with great restaurants around and about 15 minutes on bike to amed town. I loved everything

• Mark (7/5): Good - Place was clean. Close to a few restaurants. Good view of the ocean. Nice pool. The bloke that signed us in was rude. There was only one other villa being rented and the bloke who signed us in at reception acted as if it was a hassle us even being there...seemed angry at the fact. Didn't help us with our bags and there is a mountain of stairs. Photos of the view are deceiving as there are powerlines directly in front of the pool, these powerlines are very close to the pool which is a bit unnerving. Door of the fridge is broken, as soon as we opened it all the beers fell out causing one to break, which they made us pay for??wtf??? One of the doors inside the room wouldn't lock and would slide open at night meaning mosquitos would get in. Towels weren't changed in the time we stayed there.

• Pamela (8/5): A beautiful retreat in a very quiet seaside location - The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ketut, who acted as my personal guide on a snorkeling excursion he arranged. The room was charming, well-equipped and clean, and offered a good view of the gardens, the pool and the sea It was quite far from Amed town. Add scooter rental and taxis when calculating costs. The road is rough, narrow and full of pot holes. I wouldn’t drive it at night which eliminates night life, and there is no TV, so make sure you have a good book. The A/C in my room was not fully functional. I asked for a fan which helped, but it was the only fan they had.
• Tansy (9/5): Great vibe for relaxing and work. - The views of the sea and the refreshing breeze on the balcony. It was a great location to catch up on some travel admin and do some snorkelling. Staff were very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. Breakfast cooked for you on the balcony was a real treat. Very few restaurants close by and Amed itself is a 30 min scooter ride away. As with much of Bali nothing is walkable.

• Bodhi (10/5): The hosts were very helpful, very attentive and always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. - The views and location are fantastic, Ketut one of the staff is amazing, he took us snorkelling and fishing and always made sure to give us a fair price.

• Ann (9/5): Go for the Views - Modern Villa that still had lots of charm, amazing private outdoor area/deck and view. Lovely staff and a great warung attached that serves very tasty food. Cute pool. Was great to have a large water dispenser available to save on plastic consumption. You do need a scooter in this location, it is quite far from the main Amed town & the best snorkelling locations. There is some fairly major construction over the road which meant daily noise & dust. Will be better once this is finished.
