• Amandine (10/5): - logement merveilleux avec des hôtes exceptionnels plage privée avec sable blanc vélos à disposition commerces à proximité l'atoll de Rangi est vraiment une pépite où nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer des personnes incroyables, nager avec les dauphins et les voir à ``la cité``le soir restaurants à proximité et très bons, plongées exceptionnelles et excursion à l'île aux récifs d'une beauté rare et hors du temps, à faire sans hésiter !!! • Silvio (10/5): Giorni bellissimi sia a rilassarci nelle acque tranquille della laguna sia a visitare l'atollo e le sue meraviglie - Il lodge è ben strutturato, con una cucina molto ben equipaggiata. La proprietà mette a disposizione dei suoi ospiti un frigorifero con prodotti diversi: frutta, formaggi e ogni tipo di condimento, così come negli scaffali. Spiaggia privata con lettini per il sole e una laguna mozzafiato completano il quadro. Sicuramente la miglior struttura che abbiamo trovato qui in Polinesia. A questo si aggiunge ancora la gentilezza di Jeannine e del marito, che si sono fatti in quattro per noi. In un'isola, Rangiroa, che merita un viaggio Non ho nulla da dire

We loved it here! the cooktop electric plate was tough to use with the surface being uneven but really wasn't a huge deal in the big scheme of things - literaly this was the only thing

• Sylvie (10/5): Great value for money, super clean and great location - Exceptionally clean small unit with everything you need. Location on the lagoon side is excellent as you can swim and watch the baby sharks go by. Some snacks and fruit were included as well as all the drinking water required. Very close to a little shop for food and restaurants
• Sonia (10/5): Un séjour exceptionnel et reposant grâce à ce logement exceptionnel sur un site fabuleux tenu par deux hôtes inoubliab - Tout est exceptionnel ! Le site est fabuleux , proche des activités et des restaurants , et le lagon est splendide ! La petite plage juste devant le logement est incroyable ! La fontaine d eau, la machine à laver , la douche extérieure et la clim sont très appréciables . La literie est très confortable , la déco est très belle 😍 Et au dessus de tout : l accueil , la générosité de Jeannine et de Hiro et leur gentillesse ! Ils réservent des petites surprises qui sont à la fois pratiques et touchantes 💙 Rien ! Tout est fabuleux !

Beds so comfy, aircon excellent, beautiful lagoon view and accessibility, generous! food supplies, huge water cooler, lots of kitchen ware, rain shower, large fridge, outdoor shower, taxi coordination, near to great market with home baked goods and baguettes, and Jeanine treated us even more upon departure! I loved everything, if any little thing, I would prefer cotton sheets (did not effect my sleep whatsoever) and towels without fabric softener to make them thirstier, but this is so minor, it’s embarrassing. 😳. If I could come back I would so love to stay at Jeanine’s!!
• bruno (10/5): - Discrétion et gentillesse incroyable des propriétaires, accueil chaleureux de ce petit havre de paix,hyper bien équipé, le frigo plein a l arrivée, le linge de toilette sent tres bon,serviettes de bain fournies, petite plage privée pour nous devant, bien situé a côté de la.passe a proximité de 3 snacks resto et de l'épicerie a 5 min.a pied. On a adoré !!!!!! Rien.franchement rapport qualité prix parfait par rapport a d autres air b and b ou hôtels qui sont censés être "standing", Chez Jeannine vaut vraiment le coup qu on.s y pose !
• RM-R (10/5): Lovely beach stay - Great communication from Jeannine prior to arrival and throughout the stay. She arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and return us to the airport (pay the driver directly). She offers two beach-houses, both with direct access to a lovely private beach...clear water, sandy bottom, and lots of sea life. Our beach-house was the western one: small (but sufficient) kitchen, dining area, queen bed, and a bathroom (shower, toilet & sink) in the building with a covered patio (dining table), washing machine and drying rack, shower and lounge chairs outside. She kindly included some breakfast basics in the fridge and there is a decent selection of cooking essentials (salt, oil, etc.) along with the cookware; we bought some groceries from one of the stores and ate most meals 'at home,' but there are numerous restaurants within an easy walk. Air conditioning (A/C) unit worked well, despite the February heat. Famous Tiputa pass is a 5 minute walk, but the views into the lagoon from the back porch are just as stunning. A sun shade or umbrella would be helpful in the afternoons as the patio faces west and the sun is pretty intense. The eastern beach-house has the benefit of having a large tree along the property line which offers some shade in the afternoon.

Hôtes adorables et attentionnés - Excellent séjour : j'ai fait un plouf dès mon arrivée dans le lagon!!!Logement les pieds dans l'eau, , très bien équipé, avec Clim, Wi fi, eau chaude, Machine à laver avec lessive et assouplissant... Vélos gratuits à dispositions. Situation géographique parfaite, à 5mn en vélo du KIA ORA RESORT pour aller prendre les cocktails au coucher de soleil ou aller au SPA en journée... A 5 mn de là où on vous récupère pour les excursions notamment avec Rangiroa Excursion, vraiment super aussi. A 5 mn à pied de la pension Joséphine pour aller manger le midi face à la passe et essayer de voir les dauphins. Jeannine et Hiro et leur fille ont été adorables, attentionnés... et j'ai même eu un petit collier de coquillage et de fleurs pour mon départ. Un immense merci à eux. Inoubliable, je recommande vraiment cet endroit... Rien ! Tout était parfait !

The beautiful private waterfront location, the property was so well maintained, furniture and dishes and linens all seemed brand new. Our favorite part was renting from such a wonderful family who you can tell take pride in their incredible property. Our friends were staying at Kia Orana Resort, so we got to spend some time there and we were SO glad to be staying at Jeannine’s instead. Quiet, more private and just as beautiful. The stocked refrigerator was the icing on the cake. Nothing! Exceeded our expectations

• Serena (10/5): A magical intimate place, exceptional! - Jeannine lodge is a very cosy and intimate bungalow located just on a small private beach, with beautiful colors. The bungalow has a terrace from which you can see fishes and sharks passing by while you’re relaxing. It’s very quiet and you can really enjoy spending time there. Jeannine and her family are so kind and helpful, they put at your dispolas everything you need: food and everything needed for cooking, bycicles and their beautiful smiles. If I coud I would put more than 10. I preferred this to any of those big luxury resorts. This is a real hidden gem! Nothing, it’s perfect!

• Melitta (9/5): Perfekt - Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Der Bungalow ist nicht nur sehr sauber, sondern auch liebevoll eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Besonders toll: Das Meer direkt vor der Terrasse – der Ausblick ist einfach paradiesisch! Der Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft bereits mit den wichtigsten Lebensmitteln wie Butter, Käse und Marmelade bestückt – eine sehr schöne Geste. Auch die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, es sind viele weitere Lebensmittel vorhanden. Ein großes Plus ist der Wasserspender – sehr praktisch und umweltfreundlich, weil man sich das Schleppen von Plastikflaschen spart. Fahrräder stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung, was super ist, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – ruhige Umgebung, traumhafter Meerblick, Erholung pur. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

• Zoltan (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous atoll experience, laguna side, very tastefully decorated coast house right on private beach. Like overwater. Swimming, even some snorkeling right at doorstep. Crisp cleanliness, fully loaded fridge (consider it brekky included), even rice for cooking. Sunbeds, bikes (though ocean winds not supporting longer tours on single road). Dolphin watching in Tiputa Pass 8 mins on foot. Two small eateries open for lunch, dinner (until 9pm), small shop opens early but runs out of bread quick and sells no cane or rye. Nothing open on Sunday! Local diving club provides no snorkel tours to the nearby Aquarium site, contact DéDé Excursion (see Gmaps ) instead in advance for that (we checked with them late, unfortunately). Hosts are nice, even received suprises! Payment w/card an asset. Be aware that Vodacard SIM not working neither on Rangiroa nor Fakarava - choose else. All great.

• Candace (10/5): Jeannine and family were extremely helpful in making our stay one of the best we have ever had. - The beach bungalow was in a perfect private location. We could watch the moored ships and beautiful sunsets. The bungalow was spotless and well equipped. The patio had a table and chairs perfect for our morning coffee! It is located steps from the beach with lovely place to swim. Walkable to restaurants, the pier, the dolphin watch area at Tiputu pass and most importantly the bakery!

• Vanessa (10/5): Bungalow with fantastic lagoon view! - Comfortable bungalow with everything you need. An extremely comfortable bed and a good AC. . The fridge was stocked with fruits, yogurt, and cheese for free use. Everything necessary for cooking was also provided, including spices, oil, and vinegar. There was also a water gallon with drinking water. The bungalow offers plenty of privacy, and we felt completely at ease. The view of the lagoon is incredible! Swimming is also great. We would stay here again anytime! The hosts are so warm and welcoming. We didn't really like the green wall color, but that's just a small detail.

The bungalow was stocked with a variety of food items for our use which helped as we arrived on a Sunday. The bed was nice and comfortable and with the aircon helped us sleep soundly. Sunsets over the ocean out the front, reef sharks swimming lazily by, bikes to ride a couple of minutes down to the boulangerie to get breakfast in the morning - it was an amazing stay! Nothing!

Hot water shower and AC were a blessing. The porch provided shade or a place out of the rain. One of the best places on the island.

• Miketc86 (10/5): Beautiful gem of a lodge on Rangiroas lagoon side, close to Tiputa pass - The location of the lodge is absolutely fantastic on Rangiroas lagoon side (regular reef shark sightings right in front of the porch!) on a quiet side street of the island. Within walking distance, one can find a small supermarket, multiple snack-style restaurants, multiple dive shops, and, more importantly, the famous Tiputa pass (there is a high chance to see dolphins directly from the shore when boats pass!). Bicycles are also provided for longer trips. It is well furnished, including a large fridge/freezer, a watercooler and an A/C. In addition, a nice selection of basic groceries (coffee, rice, juice, cream cheese, fruits, etc.) is provided on arrival. The family is genuinely warm, welcoming and happy to help out with transfers or other requests. Nothing comes to mind!
• Nina (10/5): Perfect stay at the beach with the BEST HOST Jeannine - Jeannine is a heart and soul. It was a perfect stay. And so was her family! Everything was there when I arrived. The bungalow is perfectly equipped. There is even a washing machine. Wow! It is also VERY clean and the transfer is included. I also loved cycling around the island. The local food is great. Jeannine: I'LL BE BACK! Many thanks to your granddaughter for translating! I recommend this accommodation on Rangiroa to EVERYONE! -
• Marko (10/5): Exceptional - The location is hard to beat: it's within 10 walking distance from 3 dive shops, 2 groceries, 4 restaurants and the Tiputa Pass itself. They also provided me with a bicycle (and a headlight) which turned that into less than 2-3 minutes. The cabin was in a great condition. They even stocked the fridge with a food items which came in very handy on Sunday when the shops were closed. The beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. I saw many butterfly fish and even a few baby blacktips in the shallows. Jeannine and her entire family were amazing hosts. Highly recommended!

• Holly (10/5): Incredible oasis great for solo or a couple travel - I had the most incredible stay at a charming bungalow in Rangiroa, hosted by the most thoughtful and welcoming family. Every detail of the accommodation was carefully curated to make me feel at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need – snacks, water, fresh fruit, spices, rice, and even a full coffee setup with options for black coffee, lattes, or mocha. The outdoor patio was a dream, equipped with a table, chairs, a clothes drying rack, and even a washing machine, which was incredibly convenient. The bungalow also had two comfortable outdoor lounging chairs, perfect for relaxing right by the beach. And what a beach it was! Just steps from the bungalow, the calm waters were filled with fish and even sharks swimming peacefully, day and night. It was like having a private paradise at my doorstep. But what made the experience truly special was the family that owns the property. They were so kind, thoughtful, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Rangiroa. I’m already looking forward to returning!
