• Stefan (10/5): - Mobila și accesoriile alese cu bun gust, accesul pe terasa clădirii și șezlongurile puse la dispoziție. În ziua plecării am putut lasă bagajele mai mult , deoarece am mai vizitat puțin Ortigia, și nu a fost nicio problema. Sejurul a fost super, ne-a părut rău că nu am stat mai mult, deoarece , în Catania, nu am avut conditii asa bune.

• Eric (10/5): Visite très appréciée de Syracuse, envoûtante ! - L'accueil était très chaleureux. Propreté remarquable. Equipement complet dans toutes les pièces de l'appartement. Des provisions essentielles pour dépanner, rien ne manquait y compris des petites attentions gustatives. Décoration très soignée. Literie parfaite, couette et couvertures chaudes si besoin, linge de toilette. Possibilité de faire ses lessives et de suspendre le linge au grand air devant la fenêtre de cuisine, au-dessus d'une petite cour privative. Ascenseur aussi, appréciable. Appartement très calme et frais certainement en été. A presque 15 min à pieds de l'île d'Ortigia. Voiture facilement garée dans les rues autour, gratuitement et à l'ombre. Petit restaurant au pied de l'immeuble et supérette aussi, très pratique. Nous y reviendrions avec grand plaisir ! rien, tout était parfait !

Emplacement idéal pour visiter l’île d’ortigia à 15 min à pied et le parc archéologique de neapolis aussi à 15 min. Commerces à proximité et parking gratuit dans la rue en bas de l’immeuble. Hôte très sympathique Manque un peu de luminosité
• Anton (10/5): Simply perfect! - I don’t usually write reviews but this was without a doubt the best apartment I ever stayed in. Patrizia was communicating nicely before my arrival ensuring I would find it, her daughter handed me the keys whilst still setting up the place allowing me to store my suitcase - both were exceptionally nice. The apartment itself is carefully arranged mixing art works of Picasso and Matisse with art pieces by Jean Cocteau, even the colour scheme is very tasteful and makes you feel more like living in a designed home, rather than a rented apartment. What’s more the apartment really offers everything you can think of from shower gel to olive oils and herbs in the kitchen to an ironing board, air conditioning. Really: exceptional on every level! 10/10 Nothing.

Posizione perfetta per visitare la città , qualsiasi negozio, ristoranti e supermercati nelle vicinanze . Ortigia, area archeologica a 15 minuti a piedi . A 10 minuti santuario di santa Lucia dove poter vedere un'opera del Caravaggio. Consigliatissimo Impossibile trovare un difetto, tutto perfetto

• Raffaella (10/5): Un gioiello a Siracusa … - Appartamento dotato di ogni comfort. Curato nel dettaglio. Funzionale e pratico. Silenziosissimo. Situato in una zona servitissima ( supermercato, ristoranti , bar, farmacia, negozi … ). Parcheggio sotto casa o nelle vie limitrofe. Accolti in presenza dalla gentilissima e ospitale signora Patrizia, che ci ha riservato per tutto il soggiorno disponibilità e attenzione. Complimenti a 360º !! 😊 Nulla da segnalare.

• Katharina (10/5): Alles da- wunderschön und gemütlich - Die Unterkunft hatte alles, was wir benötigt haben. Über den Sonnenschirm haben wir uns besonders gefreut für den Strand Besuch. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet und sehr sauber, was mir besonders wichtig ist, da wir mit Kind unterwegs waren. Die Besitzerin war unglaublich freundlich, und wir konnten dank ihr auch spät in der Nacht einchecken, obwohl wir uns verspätet hatten, dafür war ich sehr dankbar. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und waren rundum zufrieden mit allem. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

Si trova in una posizione tranquilla e si può raggiungere Ortigia con una piacevole passeggiata di 15 minuti. Si può trovare parcheggio gratuito nella via di fronte o in quelle limitrofe. • Paul (10/5): - Excellent base for a short stay exploring Siracusa, very close to the attractions of Ortigia. Beautiful apartment, very well equipped, comfortable, and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay here. The host was really professional and made check-in easy. We had no problems with parking and directions. Would recommend it to anyone.

• Marta (8/5): Great location and modern apartment - Great location just around the corner from tbe bus stop from Catania / Noto. Apartment had everything you need and modernky furnished. The bed had a hole that made it uncomfortable to sleep. That hopefully will be upgraded shortly. There is no terrace really just a rooftop.
• milmih (10/5): Impeccable stay in lovely Syracuse - Everything is as you expect it from the apartment's description and photos. On top of that, the host is really nice. We had enough soap, toilet paper, paper towels, even laundry detergent. Homage to Matisse is a nice touch! We liked everything about the apartment - there's nothing we'd change!
• Natasha (9/5): Highly recommend Maison Matisse - It's a lovely little flat in a great location with everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable for us, a couple with a baby. We could easily walk to the archeological site or Ortigia and found an excellent gourmet supermarket just down the road. We easily found parking on the street near the entrance to the building and received a warm welcome by the host The mattress sloped slightly on one side. It would have been useful to have a highchair, but we made do.
• Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment a good size and all you need. Close to Coop supermarket 1 minute, baker 5 minute, Ortigia Island 15 minutes, Neapolis Archaeological Park 15 minutes so walking easy or taxi around 10 Euro. Water pressure could be better but still ok.

• Amy (10/5): Lovely apartment! :) - Lovely apartment. Very comfortable space. Had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. Water, coffee pods, basic cooking ingredients and bottle of wine supplied :) Hosts were great! Would stay again! 15-20 minute walk into Ortigia which can be a lot on a hot day but not a big issue.

• John (8/5): This is probably one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in. - The apartment is updated and very comfortable. The host added small details that made it much better, like a bottle of wine, snacks, tea and coffee and toiletries in case we forgot anything. The AC was very good. The size of the apartment is great for two people. WiFi was strong. If I could change one thing it would be the size of the water heater. It is small and only holds enough hot water to get through one shower. So two people will have to space out their showers like we did. It wasn´t that big of a deal. I would still definitely recommend this place.

• Susan (10/5): Fantastic location, quiet, clean and lovely host. - This property is home away from home. We were warmly greeted and able to leave our bags as we arrived before check in time. Patrizia explained everything and also left us a complimentary bottle of wine. if you had left anything at home, you would be able to find it here. Location was perfect for walk to and from the train station and Ortigia and surrounds. it was so clean, and very quiet. Loved that it had a lift too. If we ever returned to Syracusa we would stay here. Thank you Patrizia, it was wonderful. Nothing to say
• Wojciech (10/5): Outatanding equipment and attention to detail - The apartment is entirely renovated, tastefully furnished and decorated and absolutely fully equipped. It had everything a traveler needs. fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, very comfortable bed. it is located in a quiet yet central area, it takes 20 min to walk to Ortigia and 15 to the Archeological Park. Parking is easy and free. The best heladería in Siracusa is just around the corner. The owners were very accommodating but not intrusive. Wish all rental apartments were like this. The only thing I can think of is that it is a bit on the dark side, because the windows look out onto wells. But this was not a problem for us and is probably an advantage in the hot summers.
• Jan (10/5): the perfect, restful base for visiting Siracusa and surrounding area - This lovely flat (with lift!!!) is a perfect base for exploring both Ortigia and the surrounding cities. a short walk to Ortigia, and a short walk in the opposite direction to the Greek Theatre, supermarket round the corner, kitchen with any implement you might need. the Matisse-themed decor is stylish and restful. I was delighted to stay in Maison Matisse and hope to come back in the future. it would have been nice to have more of an external view, but as I was out and about nearly all the time during the day, this was in no way a problem for me.

• Michiko (10/5): Definitely recommend here! - This Maison Matisse was excellent property to stay in Syracuse for me! I had another stay in Catania, Noto, Modica, Ragusa so on, but this property was the best! I wanna definitely come back here whenever I stay in Syracuse!! The host has great hospitality and sense of it! Location was also convenient that close to the train station, also Greek theater area, also even you can walk to Ortigia well! It was a smooth Check-in! Basically non! But if I rather say, maybe good to have a local bus information for sightseeing, also more instruction for door and key use, as well as the coffee machine! The coffee machine was actually manually needed to stop water! I was nearly flooded water there, I could realize before it though!! These small instruction would be nice to have there!

• Rafał (9/5): 10/10 for a couple, 8/10 for 3 people - The design of the apartment. Facilities, everything we needed was there. Free parking spot to leave a car is just in front of the building. Great contact with the host. We were a group of three. Bed in the bedroom was big and comfy. The sofa in the living room was fine to sit and watch tv but it was horrible to sleep on it. We had to use all the blankets to make the experience of sleeping on this sofa less painful.
• Kai (10/5): Exceptional - The apprtment is very well designed and organized! The position is great, easy to the Orgita island as well as for the coast tour in Siracusa. The apprtment is perfect for the travelers who appreciate quite, tidness, and lovely inner design. The details of the appartment is amazing, for example, the medication/aid box in the washroom did help me out a lot. And the owner is super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
