Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (10/5): Would definitely stay again, fully aware of the rustic charm. - It was rustic in the most charming way. Not every day you have a beautiful flowering bush outside your window The room could have been just a bit cleaner.

- Lisa (5/5): Cozy room and nice staff, just needs a deeper clean. - Needs a deeper clean. There was hair in the bathroom and toothpaste on the mirror. Toilet bowl wasn't clean. Hair in the bedspread.
- LAWRENCE (7/5): Stay was ok. Bed was comfortable. - Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Space was a little tight. Some railroad noise.
- Harpur (8/5): -

Clean and tidy.
Good size room Room set up was a bit odd - not the best use of space imho
- Leora M (8/5): - Nicely redone with thoughtful touches like real coffee cups. There was a lovely big space behind the motel.

- Marjorie Fix (7/5): It was comfortable for a stopover while travelling through the area. - The proprietor upgraded us to a room with a kitchen and sitting room with a couch. The room had a fan and air conditioner, so we were comfortable despite the heat outside. The walls were very thin, so you could easily hear the people in the next room. The proximity to the highway and train yards did create noise too.
- Pamela (9/5): - Very homey place. Felt safe. Owners were very sweet and friendly. Enjoyed talking to them. Mentioned to owner that a floor lamp would be nice to have by the sofa so one could read while sitting there.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Dan (10/5): -
- Deb (8/5): I had a one night stay that was more than satisfactory at this lovely little motel. - little more soundproofing between rooms.
- Jaime Behselich (8/5): We loved our stay here! - We were greeted by the same lady/owner as mentioned in other reviews, so friendly and cute office! Her doggo, Bella also greeted us. Our room was in the back building and it was super nice! It was clean, super cute, and had all the things we needed. The beds were comfy with soft sheets. We loved the homey feel with the soft and fluffy towels and all the kitchen things we needed. We also loved the availability of the grill, we grilled our dinner and ate outside while chatting with the neighbors. TV with lots of channels too. Close to all the things im Cranbrook, we will definitely come back! A little loud on the main road, but not too bad. Had a 2 burner stove top, but no oven- which we didn't need, but maybe if we were staying longer.

- Tom (9/5): Good value, nice unit. Don't judge by the outer appearance - Surprisdingly this was a wonderful spot, and certainly great value. When we first saw the site we hesitated. It is an older style motel situated between industrial properties. I asked to see the room, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was in a Panabode log building, and was more like a cottage, with a small dining table, and a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. It's pretty hard to find a "didn't like", but if I have say.... The bathtub mat was pretty grungy.
- Brian (3/5): Disappointed - The picture on site was no where close to our room Beds not that good, the Reno’s were not done professionally
- brad (9/5): Nice host, good rest, clean and comfortable ! - Away from the road.
- Christine (1/5): - N/A Did not sleep in bed- Hair in the bed- coverlet dirty. I slept upright on sofa. Was booked for 4 nights - stayed 1 and booked elsewhere. Spider in room
- Maxine (7/5): -
- JANA (10/5): -
- douglas (8/5): - Perfect for the price .
- Melissa (7/5): I would stay here again, you get what you pay for. This is NOT A resort, but great for passing through and travelers on - The front desk/owner woman was friendly. Price is affordable and the room was fairly clean. A few cobwebs etc but it has that cabin vibe.
Shower was nice and hot. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear EVERY SINGLE SOUND that the people in the room beside make. I mean EVERYTHING.
- James (3/5): -
- James (4/5): -
- Michael D (4/5): Just a place to sleep - Not much to like, just a place to sleep. Gravel parking, old, old place. Host was nice Overpriced, old blankets and pillows, goose crap all over the parking lot, needs a major renovation. A $50-60 dollar motel at best
- coallier (6/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): There were deer in the backyard, I loved it! - So adorable. So convenient. So comfortable. So kind. I loved this place!! Will definitely be back. No complaints
- Denise (8/5): Budget friendly and clean accommodations! - Went for a weekend golf trip booked two rooms. The location is close to all town amenities, there is a courtyard with bbq, fire pit and patio tables to have dinner. Room we stayed in is apartment-like, we had enough space for 2 friends.
Kitchen all necessary cutlery, plates, and glasses etc. to cook with. Can be loud at times as it’s directly off the highway and a motorcycle shop next door.
The bbq outside our room did not have propane.
- Corrin (10/5): -
- Edward (5/5): - The flexibility of being able to check in early. The young lady went out of her way to have a room ready for me as I arrived early, greatly appreciated. The place is just way too old, needs to be either updated or demolished. Could literally hear everything next door, not good. Poor facility, needs attention badly.
- Bonnie (9/5): -
- Darcy (10/5): -
- Nicole (9/5): -
- Roy (8/5): -
- chris (5/5): OK. inexpensive for overnight only. - An old motel that shows its age. Clean and comfortable. The surrounding grounds are very industrial. Nothing outside the room. Kitchenette sofa. The area outside the motel room is industrial/storage. Nothing outside the room. No real walkabout .
- Alan (8/5): - on a busy road but not too noisy.
very clean
little kitchenette was very convenient
- John (5/5): 2 days was too long, will not ever stay again. - Nothing to like about this motel. Lighting in the room was terrible. What lights there were were dim. Serious lack of plugs.grounds around were full of junk.
- Manfred (4/5): -
- Carrie (6/5): -
- Bryan (10/5): -
- Erika (8/5): - It was close to walking trails by Elizabeth Lake. Room very clean. Had a cottage feel to it.
- Sandra (5/5): Short and okay - No breakfast incl Landscape very poor. doors difficult to open.
- Jayden (9/5): - the front desk lady was really sweet. The place took my by surprise as it was a little sketchy but it was really clean and honestly not that bad. Def has a bad rep but its much better than youd think.
- Klaus (9/5): -
- Cody (6/5): - The door of the room I was initially given wouldn't open
