- Rachel (9/5): - Spacious very clean inside has everything you need for a family stay dog friendly For the price the beds are incredibly small and uncomfortable seem very well used (time for a swap bigger beds) extra charge for tub which to be honest do t think was cleaned before arrival so only used once in our 2 night stay so not worth the extra on an already expensive stay. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and would stay again if beds changed and no extra cost for the hottub

We had a fantastic time here, very spacious, kitchen equipped with everything you need and the beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was great fun and the area as you can expect absolutely gorgeous! The bedroom next to the boiler can be a bit noisy.

- Alexandra (8/5): Stunning location, large/clean/well kitted out bungalows - Stunning quiet/location, excellent facilities, lovely outdoor area, very clean, easy check in and out procedure, friendly owner/staff, lots of room for parking and easy to access Balloch via walking or taxi. Online shopping order easy from Asda. There were no privacy blinds from the bedroom windows on to the car park requiring shutting the black out blinds and turning on the lights whenever a change or privacy were required, no bath mat provided, fitted sheet was too small for the sofa bed, bouncy / soft standard size double beds.

- Kerr (10/5): DD Angels. - Inside our lodge was spacious and well maintained. Very dog friendly😊 Outside the lodge you had lovely views of the surrounding area. There was also a gate to an enclosed playing field where it was safe for us to play with our rather large beautiful dog.

- Lyndsey (8/5): Overall we had a lovely relaxing weekend break away. - It was modern and spacious with a lovely outdoor area. The hot tub was not clean there was a build up of residue around the hot tub this could have been done with being emptied after each stay cleaned out and then refilled. There was also no lighting around the pergola and outdoor sitting area but we felt this had been done on purpose to prevent people sitting outside later than the 10pm curfew for the hot tub.

- Nicola (10/5): Excellent! Would definitely recommend! - These lodges were great, everyone absolutely loved staying here. Everything was well equipped and the outdoor space is amazing. We had 2 lodged right next to each other and we had the hot tub which was great as well as the BBQ was an awesome thing to have. Overall we had a great weekend! The floors were a little dirty, our socks were all black after only an hour or two in the lodge. Not a big issue for us but maybe a steam clean wouldn’t go a miss! The beds were also quite small so maybe a bigger bed in the rooms that had the space would be ideal. Although these thing’s absolutely didn’t take away from our weekend!

- Denise (8/5): Very good - Purpose built modern and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and bed linen luxurious. Kitchens were well laid out and good showers. Just enough cutlery for 8 but no spares. No potato peeler, cheese grater, or serving dishes made family meals more awkward.

Found lid under one of the beds so felt like a full clean hadn't been done. All pillows on beds were too big/hard - selection of pillows would've been good.

- Susan (8/5): Lovely,cosy lodge in a super location. But disappointed in the kitchen equipment. - The location was excellent. We didn’t travel too far to be in beautiful countryside. It’s also very close for exploring Loch Lomond, we took the opportunity to have a boat trip on the Loch, which I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately we couldn’t make use of the hot tub as it was awaiting a part to repair it. There was insufficient cutlery which was dealt with quickly and we were grateful for that. The property only provided plastic tumblers and again still not enough for the number staying. I totally understand the need for plastic when using the hot tub and outside area but having no choice for indoor use was very disappointing. I have stayed in properties with hot tubs which provide both glass and plastic.

There was everything available, all kitchen equipment and bbq utensils for our family stay. It’s within walking distance to Balloch country park and some great pubs and restaurants near by. I can’t fault anything about the property.

- Carolyn (10/5): Excellent, spacious, spotless accommodation in a magnificent part of Scotland. - The lodge was very luxurious and spacious. More than enough space for me, my husband, my daughter, her boyfriend and my son. We also had our big hairy bearded collie with us and he loved it. We were very respectful of the fact that everything was cleaned and maintained to a very high standard and so we took care of it as we would our own home. James was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The outside area to the rear is amazing but unfortunately the weather wasn't very kind to us so we didn't get to use it much. I would definitely book this property again in the future. We had a great stay. Nothing really. If I had to say one thing it would be that Balloch isn't just a stroll away. However, we knew this from the description. We did walk there and back and the route is beautiful if you come back past Balloch Castle. So this isn't really a negative at all. In the evening we did go to eat in Balloch but we took the car as it would be a bit of a walk in the dark however, we did see other people from other lodges using a taxi service so the next time we might try that.
