• Scott (6/5): A very basic room, you get what you pay for, great location. - The location was excellent. The mosquitoes in the room were awful, this is due to the type of slat windows that mosquitoes can get through. The noise was quite bad as well due to our room being located on the ground floor where the footfall was and again the window kept out no noise.

• Brian (1/5): Never to return again to this spot and not impressed with the false advertising, they have a responsibility to inform gu - The picture that booking.cm has is not the place when we stayed there, place is white now and was u see renovations. Got a room in the back , no dresser no tv , I was not the picture that was shown, breakfast room was close and the patio have work debris in it, scaffolding planks and such There was nobody around d to vent our frustration to, . Everything was disorganized, construction debris everywhere.

• KRISTY (3/5): It was okay, but somewhat disappointing. Promised a fridge, never happening. - Location was great, good lighting, and clean. No fridge, no maid service, no outdoor seating furniture, very noisy at night and at 6am. The beds were NOT comfortable at all. Slamming of doors and kids running around screaming. Would have been nice to have a daily towel service.

• Martin (9/5): - Heimeliges Hotel an bester Lage. Personal super. Lucilla ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und Patronin und hat sich wunderbar um meine Belange gekümmert. Kein Kühlschrank. War aber auch das einzige😁
• Robin (6/5): You can’t not tell your guests about construction works - Location on boardwalk can’t be beat, close to watertaxi and beach. Quite clean. You can’t change your whole hotel into a construction site without telling your guests before booking! A note in our room said construction works would start at 10am, but in reality it was 7am. Also the lady at recption was quite rude - no ‘hi’, ‘welcome’, ‘did you have a good trip’ or explanation or apologies about the construction works at all. She didn’t even look at us, she was only concerned about money (she did become more attentive later in our stay). Note that this an aggressively “budget” hotel, so don’t expect any comfort. Uncomfortable matrass and pillows, no way to switch on the fan without the light, and a terrible smell from the bathroom.

Staff was grumpy when I checked in, and while they had told us construction was happening between 10 and 5 pm, but we were awakened by saws and loud powerwashing before 8 am that continued until we left at 10. Property was clean but very sparse.

• Kimberley (1/5): Aussi vite arrivé, aussi vite déguerpi! - Absolument rien... Dès notre arrivée, nous constatons que l'hôtel est gris (plutôt que jaune), que le stationnement est dans une marre de boue non-entretenue où il y a de la ferraille, qu'il n'y a pas de piscine et que le bureau d'accueil est presque dans la ruelle... Nous discutons avec l'employée de l'accueil, lui faisant part de nos interrogations. Elle nour répond qu'ils n'ont jamais eu de piscine et qu'ils sont en rénovations... selon nous, ça semble plutôt une décrépitude. Nous sortons du bureau après avoir payé et 3 hommes intoxiqués nous interpellent et veulent entrer dans notre chambre! La musique est excessivement forte dans le bâtiment adjacent. Arrivé à la chambre, on constate sa petitesse et sa malpropreté. Il y a un seul loquet sur la porte principale, il n'y a pas de coffre fort et aucun espace pour mettre nos bagages... L'endroit ne nous inspire pas confiance, du tout! Nous sommes même mal a l'aise de laisser nos passeports et notre argent dans la chambre. Nous quittons pour une marche sur la plage et décidons de réserver avec un autre hotel (Cozy Corner : 5/5 littéralement). Nous avons tenté de retourner au bureau d'accueil, mais l'employée avait quitté quelques minutes après notre arrivée (il n'était même pas 15h). Nous leurs avons écrit, sans réponse. Nous avons donc laissé la clé dans la chambre, intacte puisque nous n'avons pas utilisé la chambre, et nous avons quitté. L'hôtel a refusé de nous rembourser (même avec frais) puisque nous avions laissé la clé dans la chambre! L'hôtel a refusé notre demande d'annulation via Booking aussi... bref, nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience et d'autres usagers de l'hôtel nous ont partagé le même constat.

• Day (10/5): This is a great central location to everything at the peninsula. Affordable and overall a great stay - Location is everything. Smack central of everything and right across the street from the boat drop off I would have liked the room to be refreshed daily. With the sand tracking in daily. And getting new towels at least after the second day but it was written in a request sheet they do after 3 day stays and we were only there 3 days

The property is clean, fresh and perfect size for your stay. The lady who was working on site possibly the owner was lovely! Really nice lady. Nothing at all, it was perfect

• Sylvie (6/5): Pleasant - Very well placed close to the beach. Lack of chairs on the porch to accomodate guests. Construction during high season is unfortunate. The price is more affordable.
• David (6/5): There are better options for the same money. - Not too far from the beach. Staff was courteous and helpful. Very basic. If you only need a place to sleep and a roof over your head, this place will do. But don't expect much. No cable, no tv unless you sign in to your own accounts. Small frig. Decently comfortable bed. But they need to either turn off the exterior lights or get thicker/darker curtains. There was too much light from outside, the room was not actually dark for sleeping.

• Brian (1/5): Location was great, room was clean, nothing more essentially one of the amenities advertised and completely misleading. - Good location Not as advertised. Weak and spotty wifi. There was no microwave. Kitchen was open only at odd hours at the properties discretion. Many times we went up to the kitchen to get our food and it was closed. It appeared we were not welcome to cook in the kitchen. Back entrance needs some cleaning up.

• Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing - The location was great. No housekeeping was done during our 4 nights so we had wet towels the whole time. The wifi barely worked. The rooms were tiny and dark with no table or chair or anything to put our bags on.

• Anna (6/5): Not a three star hotel. Pretty basic and not very comfortable. - The location is really good, in the centre of Placencia village close to everything. This property is definitely NOT a 3 star hotel. I wouldn’t even give it one star. Everything from the rooms to the building itself needs a complete makeup. The bathroom only had a piece of soap, no shampoos or anything else. Some of the furniture is falling apart.

• Richard (1/5): Complete disappointment - NOTHING!!!!!!...The building in this picture thats yellow was not the accomodations we expected as shown as advertised we had to dispute the room with a double bed and 2 twins beds they tried to give in 1 single bed and 1 double bed, there was no TV in this room and the AC was not working not to mention that there was refrigerator and no towels in this triple room were given...In the other rooms there was no TV .either room was not cleaned on the fallowing day of arrival on that second o had a strong discussion with the stall in charge to give me a second set of towels .she did for the room with only 1 double bed but not for the triple room...more over there was construction about the floor about both room until 10 pm And started construction the fallowing morning at around 5:30 am . Hoping everyone could see and read the above what did I lik

We were a team of 14 runners. Also our 2 family rooms assigned had only one bed each , families consisted of 4

There’s a fridge in the room which is very convenient and the shower worked. It’s quite noisy and our room had no view

• Rangi (8/5): Very good - Location is good, bed was comfy. It mentioned shared kitchen in the facilities but there wasn't one. Google maps off the booking site sends you 50 meters to far to turn right, there's an open area you need to turn right into.

I was expecting a room with one full and two single beds, but instead I got one full and one single bed. How could that accommodate me, ,my husband and my two kids? I am very disappointed. I would have liked to be changed to a bigger room or get a 50% refund. same as how they would have wanted 50% if I would have cancelled.
