- gloria (3/5): - There’s no body wash , no shampoo in the bathroom , unable to wash hands after using the toilet. The house was cold at night we were unable to turn on the heat.
- Jacques (10/5): - Le lieu, le calme. Les équipements. Baignoire trop haute, difficulté pour y rentrer et en ressortir. Matelas un peu mou.
- Hayne (8/5): Adorable little house in a safe square with easy parking assessibility. Would recommend to friends and family! - Love the style and feel of the old home! Very safe location. Easy parking. Extremely strong smell of paint when we first got there (to the point where it made me nauseous, although I am sensitive to smells). We had to leave windows open for a couple of hours. I’m sure this isn’t a problem normally, but the house should’ve been aired out after the painting.
- Alvydas (8/5): - Patiko buto atmosfera, apartamentai sename name, pilni senoviškų baldų. Pati vieta labai graži, šalia senos viduramžių bažnyčios, prie senos aikštės. Pro langą gražus vaizdas. Nebuvo rankšluoščių, nors šeimininkai dėl to buvo įspėję.

- Bjorn (8/5): Prijs/kwaliteit uitstekend - Prijs/kwaliteit.uitstekend.
Ouderwets interieur maar proper en voor een lage prijs. Ideaal voor ons team voor een overnachting. Deur van de kamer bleef niet dicht.

- willy sonnet (9/5): - A character house

- Shuang (10/5): - Beautiful old house, very well maintained. Amazing experience to stay in such a house
- Dan (8/5): -
- Gloria (10/5): Wonderful - I am an antique lover… this house is absolutely beautiful!
From your front window, you see this beautiful church and a ruin castle.
The house is super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Nothing
- Maria (8/5): A cozy and charming stay in a great location — just bring your own towels and toiletries! - The house has a lot of vintage charm and is located in a beautiful, quiet area of Dinant — perfect for exploring the town. It’s well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, especially the kitchen and living space. Towels and toiletries weren’t provided, which would’ve been good to know in advance. Just a small detail, but important to plan for.
- Manasa (8/5): Lovely, warm home in a quiet Belgian village - The setting of the house is in a quiet beautiful village. The house itself was warm and cozy and inviting and we wished we'd spent all of our Belgian holiday here rather than 3 nights.
The view from the bedroom window and dining area of the church and the castle ruins were so amazing - particularly with morning coffee and total peace and quiet.
The furnishings of the house and the pictures on the walls were very tasteful - a lovely combination of old and modern.
I thought at first that the bathroom was ridiculously large but came to love that it was also part walk-in wardrobe and dressing area.
Bedrooms were spacious with very comfy beds and good bedding.
Nancy was very helpful in answering questions I had about hypoallergenic bedding.
Kitchen was well equipped with plates, glasses and serving dishes as well as good cooking pots and pans.
The heating system works very well and very quickly. It is on a timer and is limited to not go beyond 3 marking on the dial. Given the weather this past week, it wasn't an issue at all. Don't know what it's like in winter as the floor is stone and feels cold.
Nice easy walk/run to Dinant and shops along the river on a mostly non-car road. Towels are not provided though when we mentioned we hadn't brought any with us from the UK (they are bulky!) Nancy left us hand towels which we managed with.
The only soap in the house is in the kitchen so bring with you hand soap for the bathroom, shampoo, body wash with you.
While the kitchen was very well equipped and had a modern hob and oven, the microwave was a bit clunky and unnecessarily over complicated. None of the plates would work in the microwave as they are gold plated.
The kitchen equipment needed a general decluttering as there were good knives buried under a pile of not so good ones. Also, teaspoons were hard to find (we found three for the four of us).
We could have done with a roll of two more of toilet paper. We bought more and have left it for the next tenants.
The bells of the church go off 4 times an hour. At 7am and 7pm, they go off about 80 times. The first day was hard but we got used to it after that. If you are a sensitive sleeper, bring some headphones.
- Worachina (8/5): Cozy, comfort with great company around. - It’s like travel back in time Limited toilet and shower room
- Naw1 (8/5): A nice stay in a well maintained property. - the property is in an excellent location and a 20 minute walk along the river to Dinant. Plenty of space in the property and well equipped. The owners were contactable via booking.com message if required. We did have to contact the owners about heating but this was resolved quickly. The property does require a little more in terms of modernisation. It is a very old fashioned property and some of the mattresses on the beds were very old and quite soft. Recommend that you take your own pillows. No towels are provided.
- Jan (9/5): Lovely house for friends or family to spend time together in - highly recommend Dinant too! - A wonderful spacious and comfortable house with traditional features and the added bonus of an enclosed outdoor private patio. The kitchen is well stocked and it was a lovely 30 minute walk along the river into town. The towels were really tiny and thin (hand towels really) there were no spare toilet rolls and no kettle. The allocated private parking space outside was not marked as private so had been taken by someone else and we had to park several streets away - these points didn't ruin our stay at all but I am mentioning it as it was a shame and these small issues could so easily be fixed.
- Yuliia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suneel (7/5): Good -
- Sandor (9/5): Superb - A very complete house with all the practical things you need (and more)
- Helena (8/5): Lovely village square historic house, beautifully renovated - Views, location, furnishings all lovely. Church bell rings every 15 minutes. But not loudly. Honestly, the views are worth this small inconvenience.
- Vasiliki (10/5): Exceptional - The house is beautifully decorated, it's super clean and spacious and has a lovely backyard. It is situated 2 km from the centre, in a lovely medieval square. There's also a nice little cafe next door.
- Carmen (10/5): A warm and cozy antique home - This house was comfy and cozy! The heaters all worked wonderfully especially downstairs. We lounged in the living room at night and ate breakfast in the kitchen/dining area in the morning. The bathroom is very large (toiletries not included) and the additional toilet that is outside in the courtyard area was clean and very nice to have. It is a very spacious house with plenty of free parking right in front of the house. Our kids shared the room with the twin beds and were very comfortable. The room my husband I slept in could use black out or thicker curtains but it didn’t bother us to much bc it was cloudy the next morning. The third bedroom with the antique queen bed did have black out curtains we just chose the room with the more modern furniture. The beds were all very comfortable. There are extension cords to plug in devices in the bedrooms with the queen beds. Plenty of plugs downstairs to charge devices as well.
The kitchen has everything you need and they provide dish soap and towels (there is no dishwasher). There is a microwave and coffee pot and stove top and nice size fridge. There is a small neighborhood grocery store around the corner.
We enjoyed our one night stay here and would recommend it to other families. The property was very clean!
- Nataliya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iryna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viorel (10/5): Charming old house - Really charming old house. Loved the decoration and the welcoming feeling the house gives.. No soundproof.. bring earplugs. Just the one bathroom. There is an extra Toilet but you have to go out to get to it. And no dishwasher.:(
- Ivelina (8/5): Very good - The house was wonderful and decorated with style. There was also Christmas decoration. It is great for family holliday or group of friends who wish dinner together and spent time together. It is near to a fortress so you can make morning hiking. 1.There were no shower gel, no shampoo, no soap in the bathroom even is written in the offer that toileries are available.Vеry unpleasent situation.
2.The idea was the 2 women of us to have a privite room but one of the bedrooms was completly cold and the middle of the night the woman should move to the other bedroom and both to sleep together. The heating in the warm room was broken and can not regulated. We arrived arround 9-10pm and was late for change or additional callings. The dining room also was cold.
3.It is little far from the center and the Christmas market but is not bad location- near to the a chirch and fortress
- Gayathri (10/5): Charming vintage property - A charming vintage property. Situated in the centre of an attractive little town (near Dinant), that is worth exploring. Very well stocked. Easy to access even if arriving late. Can cook meals there. Bed sheets on the beds and towels in the bathroom. Easy to park close in the square outside the property.
Thoughtful host. Information how to get to the nearest supermarket was helpful for better food prices. We drove closer to Dinant, parked and walked in across a bridge.
We would definitely go back! Wish we could have spent more time there.
- Chris (8/5): Very enjoyable stay, interesting property with many interesting artefacts -
- Gheorghe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mojtaba (8/5): Beautiful house with nice view - The house was so pretty with nice classic and antique decorations. The view to the church was very beautifull. it located next to a church and cafe which makes it a bit nosiy but if you have the windows closed, it is fine.
- Eduard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prajakta (7/5): property were nicely situated but have deposit more than stay cost. not worth it for peace of mind. - it was very close to Center, was very close to fort and church the furniture was flimsy and property owner had my deposit money I was always worried if something goes wrong with furniture because of flimsiness I will loose my money.
- Maxrojo (9/5): Superb -
- Tonya (10/5): would highly recommend this home located in a quiet neighborhood. - it was so nice having an entire house to spread out. we traveled with 2 dogs and the host was great.
- Peam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yagi (10/5): Exceptional - Super cleaned and beautiful property equipped with everything you need for your short stay! none
- A (10/5): Beautiful house and location. - We really enjoyed the well equipped and lovely house. Nice quiet location with beautiful view to the ruins and church. Cozy and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed discovering history staying in this house. One of my favorite homes I have visited. Very memorable. Very warm and cozy in most of the house, 2 of the bedrooms seemed to be harder to warm up on cold days. Under the warm blankets it was cozy and warm for sleeping.
- Vigneswaran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivana (10/5): Perfect, comfortable, very clean - The house was very clean and comfortable, the owner was very kind and everything was perfect. We didn't get towels, but we managed and it definitely doesn't affect my rating because it's negligible compared to everything else
- Shannon (8/5): lovely unique home for a large family. - this house was very charming and nicely accommodated our large family. it is very eclectic and unique. the proprietor met us to deliver the keys and there was lots of helpful tourist information. I would recommend this home. we are continuing to learn European homestays and didn’t realize that bath and hand towels would not be included. it is a lesson for us to ask for future reservations.
