• jean francois (10/5): Remarquable - Hôtel remarquable à tout point de vue. Chambres superbes, claires, spacieuses, fonctionnelles et bien équipées. L’établissement est d’une propreté irréprochable et en outre il a fort belle allure. L’emplacement est plutôt excentré mais ce n’est pas grave car l’hôtel offre tous les services possibles : un breakfast plantureux et varié avec une egg station, un très bon restaurant à prix doux, un grand jardin avec un bar parfait en soirée et une petite piscine! Bref on n’a guère envie de bouger sauf pour visiter le Phanom Rung, pour cela l’hôtel vous trouve un taxi. Absolument rien

• Kevin (10/5): Perfect! - We’ve stayed at Phanomrungpuri Hotel several times, and it never disappoints! Despite being on the main road, the hotel feels peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a lovely bar area. The staff are exceptional—always warm and welcoming, from the reception team to the kitchen staff and even the housekeeping crew. Their attention to detail makes every stay enjoyable. We always book a Deluxe Room with a balcony, which is perfect for some private downtime. Often, we’ll sit outside and enjoy local street food while soaking up the atmosphere—especially when we decide to skip the hotel’s excellent restaurant. I visit Buriram four times a year, and this hotel is always my first choice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a tranquil setting

• Penny (5/5): Basic 3 star property with friendly staff - The breakfast was very basic and not a lot of variety. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant in the evening was nice, garden bar area nice and relaxing with live music at night, but quite a few mosquitoes about at night so don't forget the insect repellant. The Wi-Fi was dreadful, we did ask about it and were assured it would be looked at but was not, so we did not bother them again about it and had no Wi-Fi etc for the two nights we stayed. Pool was not that clean, needs a good chlorine shock treatment, so we opted not to use it. We booked a Superior room, but it did not look like the pictures. We were allocated room 217 which had a small balcony off the room but when you opened the curtains there were two massive air conditioning units that totally blocked the views and hummed when in use. Others in our group seemed to have better rooms, also superior rooms, so if staying opt not to have room 217.

• Fase (9/5): Goed verblijf als je in Isaan met huurauto bent of op familiebezoek in de buurt. - Vriendelijk personeel, relaxte sfeer, goed ontbijt, heel goede keuken voor diner, lage prijs. Locatie vereist wel dat je over vervoer beschikt. Wij huurden een auto. Hoe het zit met beschikbaarheid van taxi's weet ik niet.

• King (8/5): Overall it was a very nice experience, If I come to the area again I will stay there. - The staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the Pool and the Gym. The cocktails were also very good. I think the bathrooms could be updated, I didnt enjoy having a window from the bathroom to the bedroom or having a shower/bath. There was no lights for the bed only. Sometimes it was hard to find staff around the dining/pool area and we had to go find someone.

When I told the lady I pay only 990THB as advertised she got angry and said I must pay the expensive price quoted by booking.com, so I did. Sent multiple messages to booking.com but no answer.
