• Lucinda (4/5): We only stayed there to sleep as we’re out during the day luckily - The location was great The photos really trick you into thinking it was much nicer than it is. We booked it for 3 people. I wasn’t impressed with the fact there was no door for the bedroom so no privacy between the living room and bedroom. The windows have lots of black mould on which is bad. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable with a rock hard beam right along your back. The place wasn’t as clean as you would expect with an unpleasant smell.

• Sibylle (5/5): Passable - Not much. The fact that the sofa bed was still bad after so many reviews people complaining about it. It doesn't cost much to get a descent one for guests. I'm sure if she bothered to invest in a sofa bed she would get more bookings. Should have done my research. A rip off only good for 2 people don't get ripped off! Also the bed in the bedroom the mattress keeps needs changing

• Rosamund (5/5): ok - sofa bed wasnt long enough for an adult. the plug and window were broken and i spent a lot of my time collecting and getting rid of woodlice from the bedroom
• Sohail (1/5): Terrible - Dirty. The sofa bed was really dirty. The booking was made for 4 persons and sofa bed was not made. When we opened the sofa bed to made ourselves it was really dirty. Food leftover was stuck in it. The bed room door to the outside opens to a place where garbage is disposed and insects were crawling inside. I have photos and video evidence. The toilet sink doesn’t flush down and we had to brush our teeth in kitchen. My daughter didn’t want to sleep there and we had to let her sleep by another family member who lives nearby.
• Kensuke (8/5): Very good - There were so many key boxes, and we had difficulty in finding out the right one. It will be better to have some more information about the location of the box.
• Richard (3/5): Extremely Disappointing - Nothing Poorly equipped and the description does not represent the reality. ie No Garden view, (blind also broken) No Living room, the 10 Minutes walk to the beach was 20 minutes by Google Maps.

• Magdalena (7/5): Family trip - Great communication with the host. Very responsive host. Very nice and clean apartment in a quiet location with places to park on the road. Walking distance to city centre. Great place for a couple, but to o small to accommodate a family of 4. Sofa bed very uncomfortable to sleep on.

• Boriani-fisher (7/5): It was an alright place to stay as a couple but I wouldn’t say the apartment reflected the price I paid. - The property had a lovely modern look well supplied with cooking and dining supplies.along with towels and bedding The property was described as deluxe however the bedroom window/door area was covered in mould and water damage. The “sofa bed” was foam padding to layout onto the floor so not comfortable in the slightest. It was also described as non smoking how ever we had people sitting on the window area outside of our window smoking constantly making our room smell. I also had to contact the owner a couple of times as I didn’t receive the email regarding Wi-Fi codes or how/where to find the keys.
• Rebecca (8/5): Great little find for a few days in Eastbourne. - Great value and location. It was perfect as a comfortable, clean, modern and well located place to stay. Close enough to eateries and the beach and shopping. Being able to park outside for no cost was also great. It was easy to find and get to places of interest by car or foot. We had everything we needed. I'd definitely book again. We didn't cook or use the washing machine so cannot comment on the utilities.

The cook top wasn't working, although the owner did forewarn us of this on the day of our arrival. A new cooktop was ordered but didn't arrive over the course of our 12 day stay. These things happen I suppose.

• Anonymous (9/5): great stay would recommend - very clean bright airy, easy to park, no problem contacting the owner on any questions a few more mirrors for lady’s , the sofa bed could be better, other than that great
• George (9/5): Lovely stay - The space was great and the location was good. Lovely futures and fittings. The only thing we would have changed is the leather sofa. It's two small for two people sleeping on. Also a fold out sofa bed on a frame would have been better so it's not to low. Other than that everything else was good.

I would prefer an apartment with a door between the room and the sitting area, as my son was crying and kept my daughter also awake. But the apartment is very nice for a couple.
• Elena (3/5): Poor - Modern layout Uncomfortable sofa, couldn't rest properly and woke up stiff. Loud guests in the house and kids couldn't sleep till midnight. Our car has been assaulted in front of the house by drunk guests. Landlord didn't care about anything. They just ignored our messages. Also, they asked us to sign a consent form before check-in that contained no party, no loud noise. Ok

• Tarukka (5/5): Passable - Nice kitchen, comfortable bed (although it squeaks a lot), and good heating. Location was good as well (15 minute walk to stores and Eastbourne's pier). Nice and clean place overall. Draining problems in both the toilet and shower. Door's lock wasn't working properly either. Midway through our stay there they changed the front door's lock and didn't call or text us about it. On one of our last days someone came in (with a separate pair of keys) to check on the toilet problem and again, didn't even mention it to us in advance, they just got into the apartment. Also the description of the apartment mentions there's a washing machine but doesn't specify it's not in the apartment itself, i guess they have a shared one but never saw it. They left some tea and sugar but no other basic cooking ingredients. Even though the place itself is nice and cosy, it has some poor management of the facilities.

• Terbin (9/5): Superb - Great location, on a quiet road with ease of access to shops, beach and restaurants with vehicle. Public transportation close by. Henro was a great host. We were in from Norway visiting family and this was was a ideal stay for us.
