Guest Reviews
- Ian (8/5): - Near all amenities. Nice and cosy cottage. Great base for travelling around.
- Lesley (7/5): VERY COMPACT COTTAGE - The location was excellent. We had an issue with the bedding on arrival. Lee was contacted by phone and the problem was solved instantly. Bearing in mind he was out of the country. There was a squeeze down both sides of the bed. We had to leave the heating on all day to warm the downstairs living area. Had to take mirror downstairs to plug in hairdryer.
- Jane (10/5): - Location of the property, just off the main square. Although the cottage was small we had everything we needed. The property didn't have parking nearby had to move the car a few times
- frank (9/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): - Lovely one bedroom cottage. Everything was perfect. Will definitely stay again.
- kristy (10/5): -
- Anne-Marie (8/5): Adequate for what we needed - Location Heating wasn’t on when we arrived , property thermostat was at 9 degrees , it took approx 12 hours to get the property to be a comfortable temperature
- Joanne (8/5): Great stay, thanks ! - Cosy and warm. A few small cleaning improvements, such as corners and ledges. Nothing significant but would have been able to give a 10 with these.

Plenty of cutlery, crockery and recommend cobble cottage Found it quite cold but once heating warmed up very snug
- Stanton (8/5): Very nice stay - Great location Would have preferred a dishwasher to a washing machine
- Steve (10/5): We had an issue with the heating & WiFi & Lee (host), came round within 19 minutes and resolved it. Great host. - Location. N/a.

- Marcus (9/5): Excellent short break in a lovely little property. - Location superb, right in the centre of this pretty little market town. Lots to see and do within a couple of minutes walking distance. Property was well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It was cold when I first arrived but quickly warmed up once I adjusted the thermostat. I was travelling by public transport so parking was not an issue for me, but it might be if you were coming by car. I could not get the upstairs TV to switch on using the remote, had to use the manual button on the back of the screen, but once on the remote did work to change channels, volume etc, so it wasn't the remote batteries at fault. A brief note on where to leave recycling would have been helpful. Very minor things!
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Bill (7/5): Good -
- Melanie (9/5): Superb - Lovely cosy cottage, very clean and well equipped. Great location couldn't fault it at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing to dislike
- Julie (7/5): Loved our wee break. - Loved Richmond, lots to see and do. The cottage was tiny although did provide everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable.
And everything was lovely and clean. I have difficulty walking, so getting my belongings from the car to the cottage was a bit difficult as was getting up the stairs and on and off the loo.
- Jim (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (9/5): Excellent location. Very clean. Easy to find. Highly recommend. - Lovely cozy cottage. Had everything I needed for x2 nights. Very clean. Information left of things to do was very useful. Literally round the corner from Richmond Castle. Parking was an issue upon arrival - which I was aware of. But would have scored a 10 if I could have parked closer to the property.
- Woodywoodstock (10/5): Cheeky weekend away - Close proximity to the town, but still quiet and peaceful. N/A

- Abigail (8/5): Convenient and quant - Cottage is very sweet in a lovely location on cobble stones of Richmond. Checking in was easy and no hassle, we particularly appreciated the parking disk for the local car park.
Really appreciated the amount of towels and face cloths. Cottage felt a little cold and could have been heated a bit more, found it difficult to increase heat in the cottage which was a shame. Lee was helpful in replying to messages promptly though.
Bathroom only had hand soap, we would have appreciated some shower gel.
- Joanne (10/5): Cute little cottage - Lovely clean and cute yet contemporary inside Nothing
- Burn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronald (6/5): Agreeable - Location Instructions to reach the property were wrong acceptable a
- Michelle (7/5): A lovely stay in Cobble Cottage, Richmond. - Location was very nice. Close to centre and shops. Cosy little cottage. Nice decoration.
Clean bedding and towels provided. Adequate storage space. Work being undertaken at the property next door all day Saturday and Sunday, banging and loud music playing.
Some areas not very clean, for example, shower base and sink/tap in bathroom and drinking glasses.
Shower cubicle very small, due to small bathroom.
- Carol (9/5): Superb - A very quaint and cosy cottage.

- Katie (10/5): Tiny but Terrific - This little cottage ( and it is little 😊) is just delightful! Beautifully restored with high quality finishes and great tasteful design. Myself and husband and our little Cockapoo had a fantastic time in Richmond! The cottage is off the main Market Square down a quiet street but only 2mins walk from everything. It is the best property we have stayed in for quality and location. The only negative is that there is no parking at the property. However the owner told us about some free off street parking nearby. We loved Richmond and will definitely be back to Cobble Cottage! Nothing in the owner’s ability, as above just parking.
