- Moore (10/5): - Uniquely beautiful
- Fiona (8/5): It was a lovely little boat, good location, very relaxed vibe - Superb location, didn’t hear any noise at night, not too far away from the harbour.
The boat was big enough for me - I’m only short so could stand up in it, boat neighbours were nice.
Nice to have a bottle of wine from the host
Loved the decor in the boat!
Felt like a proper sea faring person! For me the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable - but I guess that’s down to preference, but it did the job, the window above the bed did leak during the rain which made the bed wet, probably an easy fix. The lock wasn’t the most secure and I did feel a bit uncertain about leaving personal effects on the boat. The toilet was out of use, but the marina toilets are only a short walk away so wasn’t the most major issue
- Stéphanie (7/5): -
- Amy (10/5): so fun and cute - cute vibes nothing
- ELIZABETH (8/5): Can’t wait to return to the Canarian Pirat! - Loved the boat vibe. The location was good although we were disappointed not to be able to swim in the sea at the beach in Arrecife — this is no fault of the owner as the boat is close enough to the beach, however the water was unsafe for swimming due to pollution. There were sufficient bars and restaurants in easy walking distance although some of them were closed due to being out of season so something to bear in mind. Still plenty to go at though and the supermarket, although small, was well stocked so we didn’t run short of options. We would definitely recommend and love to go back. Locking the boat was problematic as described in other reviews and the key actually broke whilst we were there — it was bent already when it was handed over to us. Also some of the glasses were a bit dirty but overall the boat was clean just needing a bit of a closet check before handover. The smell described in previous reviews was just a “boat” smell and we actually loved it as it added to the authenticity of our experience.
- BONNEAU (6/5): 2 nuits 21 / 22 novembre 2025 - La localisation Couchage sommaire
Odeurs de toilettes
Toilettes inutilisables
- Amy (8/5): - Really lovely boat and enjoyed our stay whilst visiting Lanzarote.
First time staying on a boat and will definitely be staying again!
- Ismail (9/5): -
- Fábregas (10/5): - TODO.
- Peruano (10/5): - Voy a decir solo unas cuantas palabras "ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO"!
- Simon (8/5): Ideal for a couple for a long weekend or few days - The Boat is in a great location to facilities, somewhere to eat and close to the town too.
Close your a bus route and only €18 in a taxi from the airport.
It was mostly very quiet. We didn’t use the toilet on the boat and chose to use the public ones 2 min walk away.
Maybe didn’t feel that the lock on the door was overly secure too.
- Jemma (9/5): Beautiful, relaxing and safe little boat in a gorgeous town - I have had such a wonderful time, the port is quiet and feels very safe, with great clean facilities. The views are wonderful and there is lots to explore in the local area and further away. It has been equally as nice to have relaxing days sunbathing on the boat. It has been a real adventure and I will definitely come and stay again. Staying on the boat has been a much nicer experience than a busy hotel, especially if you are looking to relax. Arrecife is a beautiful little town with nice beaches and busy but relaxed restaurants and bars at night. I highly recommend hiring a car for your stay, it is easy to drive around Lanzarote and you can access wonderful places like the volcanoes and Papagayo all in under an hour. I can't believe how much I have done on a short trip. There is a free carpark a couple of minutes away from the harbour with plenty of space and lots of supermarkets close by, including a small express shop on the port. The boat is a little noisy at night when it is windy so if you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing ear plugs, I played some nice ambient tunes to block out the noise and slept well. There is only a microwave, kettle and fridge for cooking but the Mercadona nearby sells cooked meats that you can heat up in the microwave, it was definitely the best supermarket.
- Nik (5/5): Enjoyed the novel experience of being on a boat,in a marina. - The location is good, nice marina. The boat is a lot smaller than it looks in the photos. Its very cramped and basic.Stayed for a week which was ok, once I got used to everything.A week is long enough I reckon ! but I enjoyed myself. No wifi.Bit of a walk for a wee!!! Banging my head all the time on the roof [underside of the deck]!!! and not being able to stand up straight inside the boat! None of that would have mattered much a few years ago, but as an OAP its a bit of a ballache
!
- Eddie (8/5): Very good - It was great an something different. For deffs will stay again 4 or 5 days is enough I think. Only thing wasn't great were the pillows, so got new memory foam ones. An left them there for next ppl. Toilet was small but, thankfully there one not 2 far away. An good shower block as well.
- Travel (6/5): Can't get no sleep - Not too far to walk into arrecife Nightclub on the marina from Wednesday to Saturday playing very loud music until 4am
- John (10/5): Great experience. - Lovely cozy place. Really peaceful. Supermarket just 10 mins walk. Unique experience and I had two excellent night's sleep with the boat gently rocking on the waves. Kind and welcoming host. Highly recommended :) Nothing
- Jim (1/5): Bad - The size, it was a lot smaller than expected, the smell became too much and we booked somewhere else to stay for the duration of our stay on Monday
- Olga (8/5): Very good - Definitely something different to experience. Although, I think, 1 night would have been enough as bed is not very comfortable for 2 people(unless you are feeling lonely in your king size and want to get closer to each other). Perfect location-very close to restaurants and city centre. Clean showers and toilets. Unfortunately, toilet on the boat was a bit smelly. Not a great experience, especially with your head on the bed turned that way. Nice diffuser might help.
- Neil (10/5): asombrosa bote gracias - Wow we loved our stay on this cool Boat. The charming host met us and gave us practical advice and local tips. The beds were comfortable - and we felt safe and warm. Great location near fantastic shower facilities and supermarket. 5 Star Gracias!
- Julie (9/5): Superb - The adventure and experience of staying on a boat.great location to the marina , town and beaches, shower block clean hot showers , lots of fun had on the pirate boat ohhhharrrrrr would definitely stay here again excellent value cosy boat ⛵
- Vukašin (8/5): Adventurous & romantic - Miroslav was a great host. It is a very unique and adventurous stay. Coffee and breakfast on the deck in the morning were breathtaking. Small, but charming. The shower and the toilet are far away, but clean and decent. Wi-fi is weak. Winter days are hot, but nights in December can be cold - it is on the sea, after all.
- Shirley (3/5): Poor - Setting was nice . Standard poor.
- Hope (9/5): Unique stay good for limited people - Such a unique stay! Walking distance to downtown and the beach. Walking distance to bus stops and bars and restaurants. Quiet at night. Not too rocky in the marina, just a nice sway. Bathroom on the boat isn't functioning so you had to walk to the marina public bathroom. Bed was so small not sure 2 ppl could sleep in it. I am 5'10" tall and had to duck inside the boat.
- Anastasiia (9/5): Interesting option for a short stay - It was very interesting experience to live on the boat, in my opinion worth trying, but just for a short stay of 2-3 days😅
There is everything you need - shower and toilet in the marina are quite clean and nice, a lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, we did not have a problem with parking and in general enjoyed our stay and experienced! The owner is also very nice and friendly. I exceptionally liked having breakfast outside the boat in the morning🫶🏼 On one night it was too windy and the boat was making loud noises that it was difficult to sleep
- Lisa (8/5): Lanzarote vibe - The location was perfect with free parking
The marina vibe was great, and it made me feel a traveller rather than a tourist.
Electric hook up was a blessing, the boat was close to the toilet block and showers.
Nice and quiet at night apart from weekend
Host was great at getting back to me.
I was alone but felt very safe throughout The Friday & Saturday night club on the marina with loud music till 6am
I had to invest in ear plugs!
There was a karaoke bar but wasn't open when I was there
- Galina (9/5): Charming Boat, Scenic Views, Thoughtful Host! - I loved the boat and the serene experience of being surrounded by the sea and other boats. Everything was in great condition, and the kitchen, though small, was well-equipped. Savouring a morning coffee or evening drink on the deck was a true delight! Miroslav was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, even leaving a bottle of water and wine in the fridge—a gesture I deeply appreciated! You needed to walk to the Marina for a shower, which was generally fine, although the water wasn't always hot and sometimes was just lukewarm.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - It was great fun, something different Needed a pirate flag
- Rebekah (9/5): Unique stay - Amazing little boat on the marina, host very good. Nothing
- Allan (2/5): Not a good one, I tried to have fun, went to a nicer place after two days! Absolutely awful with the all night disco - Very small cozy sailboat in a very nice harbor The owner does not or did not mention that a massive all night raging disco/night club is going on from 23:00 - 6:00 … I did not sleep for 2 nights, plus all the sail lines are loose and slam against the aluminum mast all night long…. horrorfying!!
I want my money back immediately!!!
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aldcroft (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and a different experience from a hotel Everything was fine
- Vivien (10/5): Exceptional - Location, clean and comfortable, perfect retreat for a chill out, definitely return
- Markéta (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, good boat
- Claire (9/5): Nice experience on lovely little boat in beautiful location - Lovely little boat in a lovely location
Microwave & kettle if needed
Bottle of wine & water left by owner (nice touch)
Toilet & shower facilities close by on Marina
Free parking Nothing - only issue was smell from toilet but that’s something that can’t be helped in such small space.
- Michael (6/5): Some thing different that I won't be repeating - I ate on the boat - just cereal and coffee Marina is located well away from the city and any noise restrictions - Fri and Saturday nights the disco goes on till 5am - l only stayed these nights but I was told it's quieter during the week
- Francesca (8/5): Very good -
- Jules (8/5): Lovely, unique experience - Lovely little boat, full of character and the marina is great.. Boat fairly well equipped, but no cooker, only a microwave. Some great restaurants in the marina and more towards town. Spoilt for choice. One night it was windy, as it often is in the Canaries, so it was quite noisy
The cushions on the bed in the bow were not even. A mattress topper would probably sort this out. There was a smell from the head even though the door was shut all the time and we never used it. These are minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay.
- Jorge (9/5): Interesting experience - Location! Interesting experience Internet not working properly
- Khaooohs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tyrone (9/5): Holiday on a static boat . - Privacy , peaceful, and still very close to restaurants , buses , shops etc .
Perfect as it's 10 min to airport, its the capital of Lanzarote, and honestly a taxi to neighbouring towns is cheap. I rented a car and it was perfect as a hub for the entire island, lots of safe free parking in the marina , restaurants, mini supermarket, coffee shops, fast food, clothes washing/ drying facilities Nothing bad to say , weather was great , and it really something different that I am already looking forward to doing again ,
Perfect for the solo traveller , or a couple , ( no kids ) it's a boat , so don't expect the lap of luxury of a hotel ... its functional clean & cosy
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - The location was beautiful.very relaxing
- Hendry (9/5): Relaxing and peaceful with all bars etc close by. - Excellent location, very peaceful and relaxing. The owner was very accomodating and really helpful. The Asian restaurant on site is a must. Highly recommended all round. Didn't find a downside!
- Graham (1/5): we had to leave and book a hotel elsewhere as we couldn’t stick the smell of the boat any longer. no amount of cleaning - the location was good the boat smells horrendously
- Kristýna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mantas (10/5): Exceptional - Miroslav the host is very friendly and good guy. Nice expierence over here.
- Giovanni (9/5): Superb - A fantastic location near the city center of Arrecife, without problem for parking car, quiet and with the lullaby of the shores.
Market, bakery and restaurants within 300 meters
The owner is very kind: great hospitality I can say, and very good quality-price ratio. the only problem is the distance of toilet and showers, specially in the night, when the crew services are the only open and are 300 meters away from the boat: not indicated for men with prostatic problems… 😂
- Alexander (10/5): would definitely recommend to all adventurous people. - Sleeping in a boat, is way more fun than sleeping in a hotel. Let the waves rock you to sleep, and let your imagination go….You’re sleeping on a boat😎 Nothing,
- Michaela (10/5): Awesome experience - Great if you want to experience something different than a hotel chain that looks the same in every country. Really enjoyed my stay here, although (as you would expect) there is not much space inside the boat. Nice host, who showed me the boat even though he didn't speak much English.
Very recommended to add a bit of adventure to your Canary experience. The location was perfect for driving around the island exploring.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - Unique stay in a beautiful quiet and safe location. Owner left bottle of wine which was really lovely. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Shower block was difficult to find and bathroom facilities were a little walk away. Not ideal for night time trips getting on and off a boat.
- Mc. (9/5): Superb -
- Cecily (8/5): Great, relaxing stay for two days. - Lovely, quiet location, ten minutes from some good restaurants catering for the cruise ship trade and a shop for milk and bread, etc. But quite a distance from the more touristy area with shops and bigger restaurants and beach, etc. Probably need a car, or else like long walks. Sitting in the sun on deck is very pleasant and you will see 4 or 5 different kinds of fish coming past in shoals. Very restful being rocked gently by the waves. The first day there was a 20 knot wind and the rocking was noticeable but not unpleasant (but we are used to boats). There is a microwave, coffee maker, kettle and sink with running water and you can reach everything in the kitchen while sitting down :) (except the fridge, which is a bit of a scramble, under the deck; but it holds two bottles, milk and assorted cold meat, cheese etc, all you need for a few days). The owner left a bottle of water and one of wine, which was very welcome There were also a couple of teabags and coffee and sugar sachets, enough for a first night - very kind. Suggestion - maybe charge one euro more and leave a UHT milk as well? Late at night on arrival you don't want to have to go searching for a shop, and they are quite far away (or, maybe, give directions to the nearest shop, I may have missed seeing one close by). Bedding was a light duvet and light blankets (and there were some small covers in the sitting area as well if you needed). It was plenty warm enough for the first night. The second night, the owner had left a big warm blanket, maybe because the forecast was for a colder night? Anyway, we appreciated it, thank you. We were very glad to have the toilet on board, just in case, although we didn't use it. The toilets at the marina are very close (about 50m from the pier the boat is moored at) and the showers are another 200m or so away and are lovely and hot. On arrival the boat smelled a little bad but we thought it was just unaired for a long time. When we opened the toilet door at night to close off the bedroom (it is a REALLY small boat, so that's how it's done), the smell from the toilet was very strong. It was as though it had been used and not emptied (we did not investigate, just closed the door again). We were out the following day and when we returned, the owner had left an extra thick blanket for us, and the smell was much reduced and pleasanter that night. Maybe he had cleaned the toilet? Maybe we just got used to it :). Wifi did not work on the boat, but we could get it in the car park. May I suggest that, when sending instructions to new guests, you tell them to park in the first car park (the one with Burger King in it), as the pin on the map link you send is in the third car park, which is much further away. Also, could you give them the Wifi code at that time, and tell them to contact you on arrival? We didn't know what to do when we arrived - thanks.
- Daniel (8/5): Lovely place to stay for something different, ideal for a quiet break. - A lovely, quiet place to stay while on holiday in Lanzarote. We thought we'd try staying on a boat as it's something different to the norm.
The boat was a little smaller than we thought, but still a good space overall. Nice and quiet, with a little bit of noise from the nightclub/karaoke on a fri/sat night.
Would stay here again, although there isnt much to see or do at the Marina, or in Arrecife. We got a taxi into PDC most days.
- Trevor (7/5): For price and location good but need some tlc by owners - Location Getting rained on inside
- Andrew (2/5): Very poor - Owner very welcoming. More information and details of location. Took me ages to find as taxi hadn't heard of it.
Should be advised about late night/ early morning night club.
- Charles (5/5): Passable -
- Lucy (10/5): Hidden Gem - Amazing location and extremely peaceful in the daytime. Only a 10 minute walk from the beach and city centre. The host was exceptional, he left us a bottle of water and wine and there were plenty of towels and bedding for the two of us. There is a small toilet on board for emergencies, but the main toilet block is also very close on the marina. Everything was identical to the pictures on the listing, I would definitely stay here again. Sometimes the fish in the marina could actually be a bit loud!! However this just encouraged me to sit outside in the sun and watch them which was very relaxing.
- David (10/5): Good stay - Nice place for relaxing.
Very peaceful during daytime. Not the most comfortable bed.
Pretty noisy at nighttime from the nearest clubs.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
