• Katie (10/5): Best place on earth - Absolutely stunning. Words cannot describe how beatiful thiis place was. The villa, the scenery, the wild reindeers, the northern lights, distant sounds of huskeys, the natural sledging slope from the front door to the frozen lake, toasting marahmallows in the grill house, the snow hotel up the road. The list is endless. The Host and his colleague Tony were the kindest people and helped with everything. It was the best 6 days we have ever ecperienced. Public transport is difficult. The host helped us out massively so it wasnt an issue.

• Adrian (10/5): Warm, cosy perfect base for a family Lapland adventure - Eero was a fantastically welcoming host, meeting us at the train station when we arrived. The villa itself is in a wonderful location on the edge of a lake (frozen in winter), where the Northern Lights are easily visible as there is no light pollution. We particularly enjoyed the sauna in the villa, though there is another down at the lakeside. We also had a great barbecue in the outdoor cabin. The sledge run from the villa was well used by the kids (sledges are supplied) and we also walked on the frozen lake with the snowshoes provided. We had a great evening meal in the Ice Restaurant at the nearby Arctic SnowHotel, and there are several nearby options for dog-sledding. Overall the villa is warm, comfortable, and in a great out-of-town location (about half an hour drive from Rovaniemi), and made a perfect base for enjoying our Lapland adventure, even when the temperatures dropped to -28 °C!
