• Amelia (1/5): Do not book based on the online photos, the actual condition of this hostel is completely different and urgently needs m - This was one of the worst hostel experiences I have had while travelling. The property looks nothing like the photos advertised on Booking.com and feels extremely neglected and poorly maintained. The bathroom was filthy, with a constantly blocked toilet, visible mold, broken fittings, and an unusable sink when I first arrived. I had to wash my hands in the shower. Staff advised that the toilet issue was “always like that” and told me to use another bathroom elsewhere on the property. The beds also felt unsafe. My mattress repeatedly fell through the frame, making it feel like I could fall onto the person below me. Parts of the wall beside the bed were damaged and unstable. Overall, the hygiene, safety, and maintenance standards were far below acceptable, and the property should not be advertised in its current condition.

• GordT (2/5): - Kuta is a dirty little party town. The Indonesian Backpacker Hostel embraces that mind set. Great staff, loud music until 11 pm. Capsule beds are ok. The toilets seem to blocked on a regular basis, bathrooms are just dirty.
• Lola (5/5): It's ok for the price but really noisie hostel. - Larg bed, really confortable. Parking, nice localisation. It's like a party hostel, really noisie, some guest come back in the room with man/woman : get ready. You can't you the kitchen if you are in Dorms also. Swiming pool durty.

• Cleo (3/5): Good location ok price for what you get but dirty - Good location and good for young travelers My room had bedbugs(rm 11). When I told the manager upon checked out he refused to believe me. This place needs an exterminator & a general deep clean . When it rained our bathroom basically flooded but that is just a design flaw of the building. Also no hot water.

• Sadryna (9/5): Nice - Nice stay for 5 nights! Meski bed dormitory dan share bath room, privacy masih terjaga. Yang terpenting AC nya dingin, kasurnya empuk, dan seprai selimut dan sarung bantalnya bersih dan wangi. Lokasi di tengah kawasan ramai, banyak tempat makan. Pengelola hostel juga fair dengan memberi tahu kalau ada party dan karaoke di hari-hari tertentu sampai jam 11 malam. Saya mendapatkan harga yang murah di sini selama stay nonton MotoGP Mandalika 2025. Karena share dormitory, setiap penginap lain bergerak di kasur, tempat tidur kita juga ikut bergoyang. Dan jika penginap lain berisik mungkin juga akan terganggu. Tapi, ini wajar karena konsepnya dormitory dan party hostel.

• Zeus.Zs (6/5): - La ubicación del backpacker es lo mejor, si buscas estar en pleno centro. La habitación privada era diminuta y sin ventanas al exterior y además sin baño, por lo que me parece super elevado el precio que cobran por un almacén con una cama.
• William (7/5): Ok for price but needs a revamp and deep clean. Social aspect and location made jt - Very social. Friendly staff, especially Jargan. They organised socials and amazing BBQs. Pool was alright and location is amazing. Easy scooter hire and cheap. It could do with a deep clean around the beds and the bathroom and a general revamp. There’s a lot of mould on the showers and the showers in the cheaper rooms were cold. Some of the shower heads were off the wall too

Ended up moving back here for peace and quiet but still going ti the social hostels in the evenings as we loved it so much!

• Kupke (5/5): Hostel Staff was nice but cares a lot more about drinking & partying than about keeping their place clean - cheap BBQ in the evening, nice outside sitting space giant patches of mold in the dorm room, AC constantly dripping very much, rats in the dorm rooms, very unstable and uncomfortable beds, dirty used up mattresses, clogged toilets, mold in the wooden lockers

• Hollensberg (9/5): Amazing - Really nice place - especially as a young traveller. Good opportunities to meet new people and many events you can participate in. The staff were really nice and friendly - here I would especially like to name Dilham, who really helped to make the stay pleasant. He always greeted you with a smile and helped me many times with different things which overall made the stay even better :)

• Maud (10/5): New home in Lombok 🫶🏼 - I spent more than a month in this hostel, and it is the best value for money, the staff is incredible, big heart on Anggi and Dicka, many parties are available, the beds are pleasant, the people are super cool too! Top for meeting people The bathrooms are ok, but it’s hot and humid, which brings mould from time to time, some water cuts but overall it’s worth the price!

• Marlene (6/5): Pleasant - it is social and in the center of kuta so you can easily walk to most restaurants and shops they are trying to be a party hostel which i found quite annoying. loud music till late and not the nice surf vibe kuta actually has when i arrived it was really dirty

They are definitely trying to be a party hostel, karaoke loud at night ect. If this is not your vibe, as it was not ours, just give it a miss. Also there was some loud creature living in the roof.
• Marilena (8/5): Nice stay in this hostel, only a short walk from amazing cafes and the busy part of Kuta and friendly staff that helped - The hostel has an outdoor area with a swimming pool and some seating options. It is very simple, but serves its purpose. Beds were very comfy.

• Kia (3/5): was not for me but maybe you can enjoy if you like partying - good location and nice activities When I checked in the staff put me in a bed that turned out to belong to someone else already. At night there was no staff to fix the situation so one of us had to sleep outside. I heard that this had happened before also. I got a refund but the staff wasn’t really even apologizing about the situation. the bathrooms were also quite messy and overall atmosphere was weird

• Marlene (6/5): Pleasant - cheap price, good location and the other guests were very nice. they offered free drinking water / coffee and the beds were seperated by one another, similar to capsules it was very basic, the whole place was kind of dirty and there was extremely little space in the rooms or for example to hang up clothes. It also could have used a clean up since there was mouse (or rat?) poop on the shelves by the sink. the room did not have a window and the air con didn’t function well so the air in the room didn’t feel very fresh.
