• Amelia (10/5): Clean, comfortable, central - The apartment is incredibly centrally located, and exceptionally clean. The kitchen is well furnished with anything you might need. There is also a washer and dryer (!) as well as AC, quite unusual for Azrou. Zehra, the housekeeper, is also very accommodating and meticulous in her cleaning. Would highly recommend.
• Voyager122 (1/5): Don't book! Bad experience. - Nothing. The stay manager is in France, I couldn't use my booking when I come around 23:00.
• Martin (4/5): Disappointing - The apartment is very spacious, super clean and very conveniently located near markets. The bathroom is big and even has a washing machine and a drying rack which is amazing. The hot water works well too. The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals. The beds are comfortable and many blankets and towels are provided. There are ACs in the rooms (we didn't use them) and windows have blinds to darken the rooms when needed. All in all it's a very modern apartment with western standards. Unfortunately the apartment is lacking some basic essentials which have been provided in most places we stayed in Morocco so far (even budget accommodations): - there is no wifi - no essentials beyond towels are provided which means no toilet paper, no soap, no dish soap Apart from the missing essentials, the check-in process can be improved significantly. The booking ad states that check-in times are between 3 and 7pm. The host didn't explicitly ask us when we were planning to arrive. When I contacted the host on the day of arrival I was informed that we "should not arrive late" (after 7pm) as someone was waiting for us at the apartment already. It would have been great to be informed about this circumstance beforehand. We did have a long drive on the day of arrival and ended up arriving around 7.45pm, we also kept the host updated about our arrival time. On arrival we were greeted by a person (not the owner of the apartment) who handed us the keys and showed us around at the apartment. After that the owner explained to me on a phone call that we arrived late (after 7pm) and thus the person who gave us the keys is unable to return to their hometown which is 15km away from the apartment. I was then asked to drive the person back to their home (which was a 30 minutes roundtrip) as taxis were supposedly not available. This was a very unreasonable ask which made the check-in experience very inconvenient. At the very least I would expect the host to reach out to the guests to inform them about their strict timelines and the fact that there is no flexibility. It also is rude to ask guests to drive the apartment staff to their house. The staff could have taken a taxi to their home instead but it was claimed there are no taxis available. This claim was very hard to believe considering the streets were full of taxis when we arrived.
