Guest Reviews
- Pamela (8/5): Our stay was very relaxing and we had a lovely time. - The location was excellent, central for the town and other attractions.
Great views from the cottage.
Well equipped.
Welcome pack was a nice gesture.
Beds were very comfortable. There was black cobwebs over the front door and around the windows in the entrance area, also a lot of sand which we had to clear to avoid treading it indoors each time. Part of the front door seal was hanging off. The numbers on the key safe were worn and hard to read.
Dispenser drawer of washing machine was mouldy which we had to clean before using
Sink tap in bathroom was very difficult to operate.
The floor under the easy chairs in the main bedroom was covered in dust and had not been cleaned for sometime
Balcony was dirty and hadn’t been swept for a while. The table and chairs were old and wobbly.
We needed to contact the agents and found that they are longer at the address given in the visitors
Information book.
- Linda (8/5): Pleasant stay in peaceful location with views and parking providing great base for exploring - Good location for base. Parking right outside the door. Well designed compact kitchen although fridge freezer was in porch remote from kitchen due to limited space. Nice seating area in bedroom opening onto balcony with views over harbour. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night whilst being a stone throw from pubs, restaurants and the sea. Lovely treats left for our arrival. Cosy lounge downstairs but lacking in natural light in daytime. Very steep staircase took some getting used to especially in the night (bathroom downstairs). Porch smelt of smoke, presumably from visitors using the covered space under the balcony, directly outside front door, for smoking
- Amanda (8/5): Lovely, very attractive, comfortable, and well equipped cottage in a good location. - Good location. Easy access to many wonderful walks and visitor attractions. Cottage was perfect for two. Attractive decor, very comfortable and well equipped. Would be a bit cramped for 4 adults. Second bedroom with two single beds had double glazing. However, the benefit of this was completely overridden by the fact that the left hand section of the window let in a tremendous draft and quite a lot of dust any time the wind blew. No mention was made of the fact that the stairs are very steep and the steps quite shallow. Not easy to negotiate even for the able bodied.
