Guest Reviews
- REY (6/5): The hostess tried her best to be pleasant. The airing needs to be addressed, however. - We liked the rural location. The hostess was very helpful with suggestions as to where to eat and where to visit. The rooms were not really aired sufficiently and there was a smell of damp throughout. Also we were cold for most of the evening. The main CD player didn't work and I couldn't get the television or DVD player to work either. This may well have been my fault.
- Michelle (8/5): Ideal for a short stay, really kind host, everything is there that you might need. - Such a beautiful homely interior all the games and detail you could hope for for a short stay. I felt really comfortable and relaxed No cooker in kitchen but we used our gas hob outside
The courtyard garden is a section of the driveway so don’t expect a garden

- Jephet (8/5): - No cooker
- Tinky (5/5): Hillside Launceston - Nice compact little place, was clean (ish) & tidy. Spiders & webs in the bedroom, we didn't use the oven as it wasn't cleaned & only stayed overnight 🤢
- uddin (8/5): - Welcoming and clean No network and Can’t connect
- Mahendra (8/5): We had a good time there quite and cozy home, mainly owner was very helpful. However I felt little b - We had a good time there quite and cozy home, mainly owner was very helpful. However I felt little bit worried about internet signal because I have vodafone and there was no single signal. Overall it was nice to stay.

- Teddy (10/5): Quite and very comfortable. - Delightful place - clean comfortable and remote, so very quiet and restful, although within easy reach of Launceston for eateries and attractions such as the castle and the steam railway line.
Due to postcodes covering such a wide area in rural spots, it is a little difficult to find (and direct taxis and breakdown services to, as we discovered), there's no internet connecion (as mentioned in the listing) and mobile phone reception is a little patchy, but it's a comfortable place and even has a covered outfoor seating area. It's out of town, so very restful, and offers the opportunity for walks in the beautiful Cornish countryside.
We'll certainly be keeping it in mind for future vistis to the area. A better map and detailed directions on the listing page would have been a help to us, The standard map on the booking site was basic, and lacking in detail for a place that satnavs can't pinpoint exactly.
The owner DID send me directions, via the booking site, on-the-day. Unfortunately, we were already en-route by that point, so didn't see them until we got home. We could have done with receiving them a day or two before we were due to travel.
Also - including in the listing details that there is a fridge in the kitchenette would be good (it's not visible in the photo's as it's behind a curtain). We 'd have made different choices in the food supplies we took with us if we had known there was a fridge available.
But the accomodation is delightful, comfortable and quiet, so well worth a little extra effort to find it.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay lovely and quiet

Hopefully back soon
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Aakash (9/5): Perfect for those looking for a serene stay - Very private and comfortable; host was very responsive too. Poor Phone and internet Connectivity
- Linda (9/5): Superb - It was very comfortable and there were facilities in the kitchen such as toaster and fridge. The location was difficult to find but once there ok.
- Toby (9/5): A great place! - The private bedroom/kitchen/bathroom area is very spacious and well equipped, in a peaceful location. The host was very welcoming, I had a nice warm shower and a great sleep in the large double bed - perfect recuperation after a long cycle.
- Ciciriello (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant location. Louise was absolutely amazing with us and couldn't be more helpful. Very recommended if you are looking for a relaxing holiday
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
