• Lucie (7/5): Agréable - Petit endroit un peu reculé et donc assez calme. La chambre est spacieuse et pratique. La piscine est sympa. Les salles de bain sont ouvertes sur l'extérieur donc on s'entends, mais ce n'est pas extrêmement gênant non plus.

• Cremer (5/5): - Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und sehr lieb :) Die Lage war perfekt. Das Bett und die Betten anderer Zimmer waren von Flöhen kontaminiert, das war nicht so schön. Ich hab das Gefühl, dass es denen egal ist, weil sie uns ständig als Begründung gesagt haben, es waren Ameisen gewesen, was völliger Quatsch ist.

• Myrtille (5/5): Super emplacement mais problèmes de Clim et salle de bain surexposée au soleil - Personnel agréable et à l’écoute, un peu excentré ce qui permet d’éviter les bruits mais pas loin du centre à pied Horrible salle de bain car verranda au dessus ce qui fait qu’il fait toujours 40 degrés à l’intérieur + gros problèmes de Clim qui ne fonctionne clairement pas bien.
• Moods62 (6/5): Simple place with simple breakfast (eggs or pancakes is common) which met the basic needs. - The view to the pool was nice and the accommodation is located in a quiet area but not too far from the main streets. The room itself and bed were good enough although some side cupboards ans storage wouldn't go astray. Although the outdoor bathroom is a favourite of mine these ones have a clear poly roof sheeting over them which lets the sun in. But that's not the main contributor of the stifling heat in this area. The units for the air con are also located in the same area so the heat exhaust is captured in this room. Also, the door to this area is glass so although the block-out curtains are at the front window which is excellent, you need to hang a towels over the glass door if you dont want the daylight to wake you.
• Sophie (8/5): Great value for money, good location and friendly hosts. - Good location, friendly and welcoming hosts and affordable :) I think maybe an extra bed sheet for the bed and the shower may need a deep clean. The lock on the door was also a bit troublesome at time when trying to unlock it. Other wise everything was great :)

Pas de prière à 4 h du matin ( mosquée en construction à proximité) : nous avons vraiment apprécié de si bien dormir. Petit déjeuner correct. Piscine agréable : extérieur bien aménagé Sanitaires un peu vetustes mais pour le prix aucun regret

Tuvimos que esperar fuera y lógicamente no le dio tiempo a limpiar las 5 habitaciones en esa media hora. El desayuno escaso.

I rented a scooter from him (Rama scooter rental) and unfotunately I had a scooter crash. He came to me with a selfcreated repair bill of 4,5 million indonesian rupiah. I have been to Lombok many times and immediately knew he tried to rip me off. I took the scooter to a mechanic myself and it costed a little less than 2 million rupiah. Be careful when dealing with him.

• David (10/5): Explore the island and refresh by the pool :) - Such a great place to enjoy Kuta and the surroundings! The room is very spacious and comfortable, the pool is perfect to cool down and you get a little breakfast every morning :) The location is great! It is not directly in the main street, which is 10-15 by walking, and in the area there also a great gym, many great restaurants and coworking areas. Highly recommended. -

• Porozny (10/5): Comfortable value accom - Perfect no fuss property with a beautiful pool and garden. AC works well and the staff are very friendly. Perfect location a short walk to the centre and a boogie gym about 20 metres from your door. Only thing to note is no hot water but I didn’t mind it.
• Wambui (7/5): Good but wish they put more energy into hospitality - Relatively new place in a good location. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. While new-ish, the place is run rather carelessly and this shows in the cleanliness levels and general atmosphere. Couldn’t use my bed pillows because they reeked and my sheets weren’t 100% clean either. Also, I spotted rats in the kitchen, which was alarming because the drinking water is put on the ground where it can easily be contaminated. Also the person running the place cares more about collecting as much money as he can get from guests than making sure they are comfortable. Left a very bad taste.

• Dalia (8/5): Simple yet very pleasant. I truly enjoyed my stay at Kebun! - Kebun means "Garden" if to be translated into english. But in the context of the exact meaning of Kebun in Bahasa (Malay) it means in particular; an agricultural farm, or a mini vegetable garden or anything related to having a small home grown plants or trees. Kebun Homestay depicts the true meaning of living in a farm environment. Surrounded by nature, big trees and plants. Our room is spacious, the bed is just nice and we have no trouble sleeping. Love the bamboo exterior chairs with a small coffee table which most of our mornings and evenings where we chill and have a nice coffee outdoor. Overall outlook is pretty standard, yet very simple and cozy. The 'outdoor' bathroom and toilet without a roof is nice. No issue with condensation since the bathroom air dried itself with an open ceiling. Natural sunlight at its best, only when it rains, it drenched the whole bathroom area. The internet is good, and the router is visible right in-front of our room near the roof lol The location is a little bit further away from the Kuta town. It is ok for us since we enjoyed walking and having a bit of a jog in the evening to the beach. Good way of enjoying the surroundings of the local stores and houses along the way. Stray dogs and chickens running around keeping you company! (they are used to humans and did not mind us at all) They serve you breakfast daily, limited choices yet something for the belly with a nice cup of Lombok coffee, it was lovely :) It was peaceful and truly enjoyed our privacy. All in all, I truly enjoyed my stay even with such a standard room, it was simple yet very pleasant. I appreciate their attentiveness and hospitality through out our stay. Thank you to the host for all of your swift responses and kindness. Would love to come back again :)) Would appreciate for the homestay to upgrade a few important amenities for the whole room; 1. Bathroom and Toilet : - towel hooks - small bin - small bucket - toilet rolls 2. Upgrade the ceiling lights (maybe change to LED ceiling lights? with casing and cover) 3. Other add ons; - Tall/big mirror in the room (since there was only one mirror which is in the bathroom) - Hangers - Wall hooks - Dustbin It would be amazing if all of these can be fitted in :)

The location is perfect just a few minutes from the center of kuta but far enough from all the noise and the crowd. The wifi did not work half of the time and the signal was not strong enough to have wifi in the room.
• Lucy (8/5): Enjoyable stay - We very much enjoyed our stay in Kebun Homestay. Large, comfortable rooms. You can arrange bike rental and transfers from there. Nice location, within walking distance to cafes/restaurants and central Kuta/beach. The bathroom is outdoors and the door between the bathroom and bedroom is not fully sealed so bugs/mosquitos get in unfortunately. The breakfast was too small for us, we often went to get more food in a cafe afterwards.

• Jess (10/5): 10/10 people, location, room and scooter - We loved our stay at Kebun homestay - Rama was super friendly and really helpful, the rooms were great, spacious and good aircon. Wasn't a downside for us but bathrooms are outdoors but still clean. Breakfast included every morning and was amazing with coffee/tea. Wifi worked but wasn't strong enough to do video calls which we needed for work - otherwise we would have extended - it seems to be a problem everywhere on the island though.

• Wakelam (10/5): Amazing value stay in Kuta Beach - Big clean room, the pictures don't really do it justice, good aircon, comfy beds, nice outdoor bathroom and a decent breakfast, we got omelette toast and coffee each morning. The owners were friendly and helped us with everything we needed and a reliable scooter for hire. Close enough to walk to the town center too only about 10 minutes. Great value for money really can't fault it for the price. Thank you for a lovely stay! 🤗 Nothing

• Clare (10/5): Great home stay in Kuta - Lovely home stay. We stayed in others in Kuta but this was the best. Plus point, it had a door separating the bathroom and bedroom rather than a curtain. Really quiet at night and super close to the road to beaches. Can rent a scooter easily. No hot water but this wasn’t a problem for us as it was lovely to cool down after the beach! Good breakfast and friendly host.

Breakfast was good ( Banana pancakes ), there is a seating area outside the room and the bathroom is decent enough. Owner was a nice guy. Could do with some bags for the bins, the door was a bit unaligned and was difficult to shut properly, although owner was friendly we found him a bit overly pushy with trying to sell us tours and scooter rental

Fantastic value for what you get when dorm beds in hostels in the area are the same price! Rama was very welcoming, offered trips around the island for a fee, and was kind enough to let me ride on his bike for free when he saw me walking into town! Location about 10/15 min walk into town, but not much of a fuss for me. Walk can be a little daunting with dogs around, particularly at the Homestay, but Rama spoke to the dog owner to ensure he did not leave them outside the Homestay. I felt Rama was a bit pushy with trying to get me to rent his bike, and when I did ask for a ride on the island it was very expensive! Nice guy, though.

• Malgorzata (10/5): Really good quality/price in Kuta. - Simple and quiet accomodation. The room was spacious and had furniture in it (not so common in many places). Clean bedding and towels. Big comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean, hooks for towels (again, not so common). Only cold water, but it’s not a problem in this climate. Good water pressure. Nice garden outside. 10min walk to the town centre, so it’s quiet. The breakfast was a bit small. There could be soap provided.
