- Diane (9/5): A spacious clean room with a lovely proprietor. - Sam was amazing, she went out of her way to ensure we could find the place. The room was spacious and really clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom cosy. there was parking. I think the room was a bit over priced.
- Karen (8/5): -
- Gerard (8/5): Very good -
- Evan (8/5): Checked in late with no problems. -
- Talossi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kinsella (10/5): A very nice interlude indeed! - I was in South Wexford with my American daughter and granddaughter, mainly to enjoy the gorgeous beaches. To my surprise the location was very handy for both Wellington bridge and for the Hook pennisula where we spent most of our time. The fact that we had a kitchen with utilities and tables and a lovely sunroom in which to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening made our stay very pleasant. Our hosts, Yemi and Samantha, were just terrific in ensuring we had what we needed. Such lovely people. It was all so much better than the hotel we stayed in in Wexford town. I cant think of anything.
- William (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent situation between Wexford and Fethard. Beautiful room and ensuite. Samantha very welcoming. Nothing
- Nicholas (10/5): Had a great night.wish we had stayed longer - Great place to stay, very good beds. Nice view on the countryside Nothing
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Comfortable house and very welcoming owners Nothing
- Bruce (10/5): Hilltown house was a perfect stop the night before an early ferry - Samantha was super cool, place was spacious and well appointed, close enough to the Rosslare ferry, plenty of parking and felt secure -
- Sabrina (10/5): Brilliant Stay - Samantha, our host was brilliant!
Easy to find & a simple key collection as we arrived after check-in hours.
We were attending a wedding close by, so it was a perfect location.
- Rossman (5/5): Good enough for one night. $40 euros more than the place we stayed in prior that was way nicer. - It was convenient. The beds were comfy. I could not get the hot water to work in the shower. No hot food. No bottled water.
- Jane (9/5): Perfect stop en route to ferry - Samantha has set up an excellent guesthouse in the year that she has been operating and is a very welcoming host. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfy. There is plenty of parking and it’s only a half hour drive to Rosslare. There is a good sized dining room with a microwave, kettle, air fryer and crockery so it’s easily possible to self cater. No breakfast is provided but cereal and milk is available. The guest lounge in the conservatory is comfortable and a good spot to relax. Highly recommended.
- Ian (8/5): Ideal place to start and finish our tour of the North West part of the Wild Atlantic Way - Friendly welcome, clean, easy parking and access, comfortable room with tea & coffee making facilities. Nought
- Elaine (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (9/5): Contented for my one night stay. - Samantha was a fabulous host who, despite short notice of my arrival, put plans in place to accommodate me and contacted me by phone to let me know.
She provided me with and spoke about suggestions for my travels the next day.
I had secure and safe storage for my bicycle.
Although there was no breakfast provided, there was tea, coffee, plenty of biscuits, and cereal for the morning if I wished.
The dining area had the ability to prepare my meals if I wished, and the local small town 3 km's away had a supermarket and options for take-away food.
I was provided with privacy during my stay.
I would be happy to return here again in the future. There was nothing with which I wasn't content.
- William (10/5): Exceptional - Great hospitality and suggestions from the hosts, room was very tidy and clean...100% recommended!
- Michael (10/5): Great place yo stay - Clean warm and great location
- Stephen (8/5): Stopover for Rosslare ferry - Friendly and welcoming, light breakfast, tea and coffee available. Clean and comfortable Room could have been warmer.

- Drivingman (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): Happy Days - Really friendly Treated us like family. Nothing too much trouble. Everything exceptional Didn't likes the old crows next door
- Anne (10/5): Samantha & her family are welcoming. After a 4 day hectic schedule driving we welcomed the rest. Wellington bridge - Absolutely everything.
Samantha has accomplished a lot since her young family has taken over as new owners. Nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): Enjoyable Stay - Very clean and comfortable room. Welcoming Host. N/A
- Jersey (5/5): Terrible sound insulation, not able to sleep well. - Clean and warm room, hot water all day and night, friendly host, convenient kitchen area. I would rate the sound insulation 0 out of 10. We stayed on the ground floor, and the stairs were right across from our room. We could hear any noise when people used the stairs, as well as all the sounds from the upstairs room (talking, snoring, using bathroom, walking, packing luggage…).
I woke up at least 10 times in the night and had 3 nightmares. That was the worst B&B experience I've ever had.
- Mariona (10/5): I recomend - Everything and the staff was really nice and kind, and the room was big and clean.
- Abdirahman (10/5): Exceptional - That was lovely
Very welcoming definitely going back again
- Naira (10/5): Perfect night - Samantha is a lovely woman. She is receptive and welcoming. The property is lovely and clean. I love my staying.
- Lacostales (9/5): I felt relaxed and secure - Its really amazing
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Samantha was a great host, exceptionally clean and very comfortable accomodation.
- Daryl (7/5): Clean - Basic but clean. Friendly host
- Elaine (8/5): Very good -
- Sharon (10/5): A delightful pitstop - Samantha was very understanding of our late arrival which was much appreciated. The property facilities were excellent and the room / ensuite were very comfortable, clean and warm. We stayed overnight in order to be close to Rosslare Harbour as we were travelling to Spain. The property was only 25 mins from the Ferry. Excellent value for money. We would highly recommend Hilltown House and would have no hesitation in staying there again.
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Damien (9/5): Superb -
- Tomasz (10/5): Very convenient location and great host - It is located 25 minutes away from the ferry port in Rosslare, and 15min away from the main road going from Wexford to Dublin, so it is very convenient. Even though I arrived late I was nicely greeted by the host who explained everything. Thank you!
- Pablo (9/5): Superb - Staff was lovely! Very attentive and very helpful. I would recommend 100%
- Cuneguines (8/5): Very good -
