• Aleksander (10/5): Recommended - I really liked Friends Hostel. The beds were super comfortable, and the common area had such a friendly vibe it felt like everyone was already friends. Everything was clean, and I also liked that there were air conditioners and ventilation throughout the hostel. They have board games, a projector, drinks, and a well-equipped kitchen. Honestly, the hostel has everything you need for a good stay, and even more. I’d definitely recommend it.
• Ekaterina (3/5): Noisy, the hostel don’t obey quiet hours, lack of showers, squeaky floor. - Convenient location close to all major attractions. Modern design of common areas I stayed here for four nights, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for a safe and relaxing stay. First of all, it was extremely noisy during the designated quiet hours (11 PM–7 AM). Apparently, a few long-term residents are staying at this property and regularly throwing parties. Listening to loud music, shouting, and noise until 4 AM is definitely not what you expect after a long day exploring the city. I asked the manager for help, but unfortunately, nothing changed. To make matters worse, the guy sleeping in the bunk below mine brought a girl into the room in the middle of the night. They started talking loudly and fooling around. The next morning, there were empty bottles scattered around, and a couple of unknown “guests” were sleeping in the corridor. Additionally, there is only one shower for approximately 10–15 residents, which makes it nearly impossible to use during peak hours. The floors are very squeaky, which is especially disturbing at night. The beds are acceptable, but climbing to the top bunk feels unsafe and could potentially be dangerous.

Гости в хостеле очень классные, интересные, удалось поболтать вечерком. Спасибо огромное, я вернусь к вам еще и еще!
• Graeme (10/5): Comfortable and clean! - The property was well located and quite clean. The staff there seemed to clean daily and it showed. The beds were comfy and walls were quite sound proof even next to a common area where things can get loud- so it does not affect your sleep. They have the options of curtain beds which is nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating which made the experience pleasant. I ended up extending multiple times due to how comfortable it was. It was also quite social having a good common area where people hang out. They occasionally host group suppers and pub crawls which make it easy to meet people. Overall I would recommend! Nothing

• Richard (10/5): - Friends hostel is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in the Caucasus region, it was cozy, had a welcoming social atmosphere, and all the staff made me feel right at home, often having events in the evening made it easy to meet other travellers. The beds were comfortable, the showers were always clean, and there was a quick turn around on the laundry service. 10/10 will be staying again.

• Rimma (8/5): Хорошее расположение и комфортные кровати - Хостел удобно расположен на тихой улице между метро Руставели и Площадь Свободы. Номер рядом с ресепшн небольшой, но мест для хранения достаточно, есть вешалки, шкафчики, закрывающиеся на ключ. У кроватей есть шторки, розетки, отдельное освещение. В хостеле два туалета и душа, поэтому очередей не было. Есть кухня со всей необходимой посудой, большой общий зал, классный балкон-терраса. Хостел - это всегда немного лотерея в плане соседей. В этот раз в хостеле было много шумных гостей (как я поняла, это те, кто живут там неделями), в час-два ночи они продолжали очень громко общаться на втором этаже, так что слышно было на первом. Плюс в моей комнате ночью кто-то пришел и начал курить вейп. Также стоить быть готовыми, что от метро придётся пройти пару кварталов в гору, если у вас тяжелые чемоданы, это может напрячь.

Affordable, new mattress on the bed I stayed on, exceptionally clean, the atmosphere is laid back, staff is extremely attentive, and the guests act more like a family than just travelers. Newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms are a massive plus. Nothing. Will always stay here.
• Yume (9/5): また泊まりたいホステル！ - 2度泊まらせていただきました。立地が良く歩いて何処へでも行けます。 リノベーションされてバスルームも可愛く、キッチン設備も新しく、カトラリーや食器も可愛かったです。 共有ルームはカフェのように素敵で、作業をするのにも最適でした。 部屋には暖房設備があり、全てのベッドにカーテンがありました。 スタッフもゲストもとても良く、素晴らしい滞在となりました。感謝です！ 現金払いのみでした。
• BELGRADEBRO (10/5): - I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dormitory (more quiet one) next to reception so my review is based on this experience. Room was small but nice, beds were comfortable. They have very simple but large storage place for lockers which is a huge plus. Central heating was constant and always working. Good Kitchen and nice common area where you can meet other travelers is on the upper floor. Toilets especially the one in besment were always clean, you can see effort they put on improving things. Stuff was helpful and overall atmosphere is like at someones house. There is issue with a metal fance on the upper bed which is almost falling so if somone who is more heavy is climbing at the top there is a chance that fance will fall. Besides this upper bed has some wall barier so if someone suddenly wake up and hit the head could be dangerous. Stuff already know about it so they will fix this in the following perod.

• Dzhemali (10/5): Nice hostel with many interesting people to socialize - A very comfortable hostel with a great common area where guests can relax, talk and get to know each other. The staff and guests were super friendly, and the place feels warm and welcoming from the first minute. There are all the amenities you could need, and everything was convenient. I really enjoyed my stay and I’d love to return!
• Bulat (10/5): Highly recommended! 👌 - I had an amazing experience staying at Friends hostel in Tbilisi. Everything was super clean and well taken care of, and the common area had such a friendly, welcoming vibe. I met so many new people from all over the world and made a lot of great connections. The bathrooms were really comfortable, modern, and always spotless. The administrators were incredibly kind and helped me with everything I needed. The kitchen was also very convenient and well-equipped, with lots of new appliances. Plus, there were board games and a bunch of nice little extras that made hanging out there even better.
• ADHARA (10/5): good stay :) - Great hostel with a lovely atmosphere. The staff is incredibly nice, Rustam at the front desk was super sweet and a true gentleman, always helpful and welcoming. The private rooms are really nice, cozy, and cute, with good soundproofing, which made it easy to rest. There’s also a coworking space available, perfect for digital nomads who need a comfortable place to work. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it. <3

Super, że są miejsca do wspólnego spędzania czasu i przygotowywania posiłków. Łóżko było bardzo niewygodne i bardzo skrzypiące. Akurat jak byliśmy był problem z jedną łazienką więc została tylko jedna na wszystkich gości.

• Rita (8/5): - Great balcony. Comfortable and private beds. Bathroom situation could be a bit improved but I had no troubles! Room was a bit hot even tho they have fan.
• Petra (10/5): Small,familiar,good to meet people, fantastic wooden balcony! - Small,cosy,familiar Hostel in a quiet, but central street.Everything in beautiful tiblisi is to discover by foot.The common place is cosy,good to get in contact with people from all over the world. The balcony is definitely the Highlight! The room was huge and cool, which was good during the heatwave outside. There is a washing machine(travellers needs...) The guy at the reception was friendly and waited for us to check in,as we realised to be late,thank you! The kitchen is poor equipped, remember this, when you are planning a complicated meal 😉 the toilets and showers are old and not running very well,you need sandals in the shower and a towel to clean up.It is cleaned every day,but there is still an intense smell from the sink.Maybe it is for the old building, you should not be tooooo sensible....

No paraba de entrar gente agena por la noche a las literas que dan justo al salón, encima por la noche habia mucho ruido. Dormimos varios amigos en literas y en una de ellas, sorpresa... había chinches. Cuando se despertó lleno de picaduras fué horrible... sin duda no volvería. Deberían de limpiar más.

• Júlia (6/5): Buen hostel para encontrar amigos, no para descansar - Las estancias comunes son perfectas para compartir experiencias si vienes a conocer a gente, cocina súper equipada. El host es muy amable y atento en todo. El baño de abajo deberían de arreglarlo, mucho ruido por las noches, se escuchaban todos los pasos de la gente. Si quieres descansar este no es tu hostel. La habitación doble, la cama es bastante incómoda, no hay ventilación ya que es un subsuelo.
• Mariia V (8/5): хорош для групп перед походом) - Уютная гостиная с кондиционером. Есть открытый удобный балкон. На кроватях шторки. Внимательный и ответственный администратор. Забронировать можно без карты и предоплаты. Есть wi-fi, на кухне есть общественные продукты, если вы приехали ночью, как я, не надо бежать в круглосуточный магазин и покупать овсянку на последние деньги)) В комнатах нет кондиционера, в жару спать очень трудно. Стоит вентилятор, который постоянно жужжит и гоняет горячий воздух. Расположение кроватей в жару не обеспечивает охлаждения. Один из санузлов плохо применим для принятия душа.

• Raed (10/5): Clean, friendly and so beautiful atmosphere - The staff Stanslaf so friendly and the hostel is so clean and warmly friendly. I forgot one plastic bag containing my stuff and the hostel did keep it safe and wasn’t touched at all. I definitely loved the environment and friendly guests as well. Some guests keeps the electricity on (specially AC) while nobody at there. I wish guests will close it after not using AC, Fan, Lights and so on

• Mia-sophie (9/5): Superb - Absolutely loved my stay here. I met so many kind people and the hostel itself just has a very homy and comfortable atmosphere. Kitchen is well equipped and the terrace is lovely to hang out in the mornings & evenings. The location is also perfect! The beds in the cheapest dorm are unfortunately that comfy. They are quite old and make noises with every single move and also lack curtains :/

• Divan (4/5): Disappointing - Really nice location. Bathroom facilities were absolutely not it. Poor infrastructure. Everyone's shoes at the entrance greets you with a proper odour when you come through the door. I don't know how it got such a good rating of Booking.com? The manager cleaned the place properly every morning, which is nice, but the bathrooms and facilities never felt clean - maybe because of all the shower water that floods the bathroom and wets the toilets when you shower?
• Gergely (10/5): Exceptional - Great location in a small and quite street, 5-10 min. walk from the Liberty square and metro station. Big comfortable beds with full privacy thanks to the curtains in nice spacious rooms. The entire house on 3 floors has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with lots of corners, sofas to sit down and relax after a long day if you are not yet in your room. Clean bathrooms, hot water. Fast Wifi. Nice and well equipped kitchen area. And last but not least friendly and helpful staff. My best recommendation.

• Douglas (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, friendly stuff, beds in capsule style but spacious! They arranged an “automatic check in” for me since I would arrive in middle of the night, sending me video instructions via WhatsApp on how to arrive on my bed and how to find toilets. Super caring, no? Also upstairs have lot of places to hang out, fast internet, kitchen.

• Abdul (8/5): Quiet and Clean - It's an average hostel. Quiet and clean. Kitchen is full of all appliances and utensils. Common area is very beautifully designed, enough sitting area, they placed indoor and table games like Poker, UNO, Rubik's Cubes and some dice games. I don't smoke, but they have a smoking area and balcony. Ivan from staff is a really nice guy I always saw him working and managing the place. 1: Wooden flooring needs to be upgraded. It's really noisy when you walk on it, especially at night. 2: Room heating and warm water supply is not working properly, its okay, but they should fix it. 3: Shoes outside policy is not really comfortable. I mean, this isn't Japan. And they don't provide a pair of slippers for toilet and for porcelain tile floor in kitchen and balcony because that floor is really freezing you cannot walk on it bare feet.

• Pieter (10/5): Best stay in Tbilisi. - I stayed in a few different hostels in Tbilisi and Friends Hostel was easily the most enjoyable experience - and the other hostels were great... Tanya did a wonderful job of creating a welcoming and homely space, with attention to detail, splashes of colour and decor. The atmosphere is warm, open, social and comfortable. There is a decent sized round table in the common area for those who want to do a bit of work, yet there is still enough space for others who just want to relax or enjoy a meal. Highest recommendation. Another night.

• Natalie (7/5): Big common area, nice staff - The staff was nice, the chill area is nice and the big balcony is also inviting but i didnt use it. Kitchen is nice and has stuff to share and use for all which is nice. No curtains on beds. Beds are not really comfortable and squeeze a bit. No air con in the rooms and a bit loud with the open windows. Only mixed rooms. Shower downstairs is a flooding experience

They draw you in with kindness and warmth, there's always interesting guests to hang out with and tea / coffee on hand! This doesn't just feel like a friends Hostel it's a family one! ❤️ I can't wait to come back!
• Yuyi (1/5): There were bed bugs - My bed had so many bed bugs, I couldn’t sleep in bed that night at all and had to crash in their hallway instead. Apparently the guest before me noticed bed bugs too and already reported the problem, but they still sold the bed to me without making sure it was bug-free.

• James (10/5): Quiet social and comfortable stay with frendly host and staff - Lovelly hostel, lots of space to socialise inside and out. Laid back. Lovelly friendly host running the hostel. It was great stay and will hope to visit again when im next back in Georgia. In a quiet space away from the bustle, with a relaxing atmosphere.

Being there in the summer it was disappointing to see that the room did not have an A/C unit or a private bathroom. Additionally, because the private rooms were in the basement the wifi was often slow or did not connect.
